As time progresses, things change and she is sexually molested and abused by the mother's new boyfriend over a period of years. Struggling to survive and cope and convince her mother, she turns to drugs and alcohol to escape reality.
A personal memoir in the first person and her struggle trying to stay alive through the sexual abuse and neglect of the very one's that are supposed to protect her. She comes to the conclusion that the only way out may be for them think she is dead.
