If you were going to die, who would you kill? The thrilling conclusion to the Vigilante Angels trilogy.
Tommy is a retired cop and former Marine with a lot of regret and little time left.
Now in hiding with his faithful dog and the memories of those he has recently lost, he is prepared to allow his disease to claim him; to die in peace.
Or so he thought. From his sparse tropical bungalow, he begins to follow the meteoric rise of a politician that stands for everything he despises. He sees one last opportunity to realize his original vigilante charter—to truly make the world a better place, particularly for the unfortunate.
He battles his cancer, investigators, and many obstacles to complete one last mission.
Billy DeCarlo is an American author of novels and short stories. He grew up camped out at the corner newsstand, reading as many comic books as he could before the owner would throw him out. He writes out of love and in hope to change the world, or at least a few minds. He still believes there are superheroes, and sees evidence of them sometimes on the news. And villains, lots of villains.

Terminally ill and waiting to die, he can't resist the temptation of one more chance to make the world a better place. Tommy who we got to know in book one and two was a retired marine and a former cop also was a vigilante. Now in the Florida Keys battling his last days he decides that a corrupt politician on the way up must go. Lots of suspense and drama as he enlists the help of some fellow patients to help him with his one last mission. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.
The trilogy comes to an end with a topical plot about an unsuitable presidential candidate. Like the other books, it has a fast moving plot, with a fitting ending.
I received an ARC from the author, via BookFunnel, and I am voluntarily giving an honest review.
Knowing it was the end of the series I knew the ending. What surprised me was the author's description of the candidate. Sadly,so was the description of the candidate 's followers. Hateful, racist and small minded.
Good story. You've got to love a good vigilante story. If you're going to die anyway, you may as well take someone who doesn't deserve to live with you.
