Time for Peace by Ruth Fishel is a beautifully written and deeply transformative guide for anyone seeking to cultivate calm, compassion, and purposeful living. Fishel’s message is simple yet undeniably powerful: peace begins within us. Through her reflective writing and daily meditations, she demonstrates how even five minutes of intentional stillness can shift our emotional landscape and create ripples of peace that extend far beyond ourselves. Her approach is gentle, inclusive, and uplifting, making this book truly a gift for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

One of the book’s greatest strengths is its accessibility. Fishel writes with heartfelt clarity, offering inspiration that is easy to absorb yet profound in its impact. The daily entries and quotes included throughout the book are carefully chosen, allowing readers to feel supported, grounded, and spiritually nourished. Whether she is guiding readers toward forgiveness, presence, gratitude, or compassion, Fishel’s tone is warm and encouraging, like a trusted mentor walking beside you through your journey.

The idea that thousands of readers could be contemplating the same peaceful message each day adds a sense of shared humanity and collective intention that makes this book even more meaningful. In a world often filled with distraction and division, Time for Peace reminds us of our power to shift the energy around us, not through force, but through awareness, kindness, and love. It is a reminder that each of us can be a beacon of calm in turbulent times.

Overall, this book is a true treasure. It offers both comfort and guidance, inspiration and practicality. Readers seeking emotional healing, mindfulness practices, or a deeper sense of purpose will find Time for Peace profoundly supportive. Ruth Fishel has created a timeless resource that belongs in the hands of anyone longing for a more peaceful life and a more peaceful world.

I’m partway through Time for Peace and I have to say, it’s really making me pause and notice things about my life. The way Ruth Fishel writes feels calm, honest, and easy to understand, like she’s just talking to you directly.
It’s not complicated or full of fancy advice, it’s simple, but it really makes you think. Some of the things she says have made me stop and reflect on how I react to stressful situations or how I treat other people. I’ve noticed that I’m more aware of my own feelings and more willing to take a moment to breathe before reacting. It’s not just a book you read and put down; it’s the kind of book that stays with you in small ways throughout the day. It’s reminding me that peace isn’t something you find somewhere else, it really does start inside you, and that idea has been sticking with me. I’m glad I started reading it, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else I’ll discover as I go along.

When I first picked up Time for Peace, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought it might just be another book full of nice sayings, but it’s actually been much more personal than that. The more I read, the more I realize how much I rush through life without taking a moment to breathe or notice what’s around me.
Ruth Fishel writes in such a gentle, real way, it doesn’t feel like she’s trying to teach or preach, just sharing what she’s learned about finding calm in a noisy world. One thing that really stood out to me is how she reminds me that peace isn’t something you have to earn; it’s something you can allow yourself to feel, even when things aren’t perfect. That idea alone hit me hard.

For real, this book is helping me slow down and be a little kinder to myself, which is something I didn’t even realize I needed.

This book has a really calming and gentle feeling to it. I didn’t think I would connect with it as much as I have, but the words in it keep making me stop and think about my own life. The ideas aren’t complicated or hard to understand, they’re simple, honest truths that somehow feel very real. I often read a few lines and then just sit quietly, letting what I read sink in.

Some things have made me see my reactions and habits in a new way, and even small changes already feel different. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t lecture you or tell you what to do, it just gives you little reminders that can really make a difference if you pay attention. I’m enjoying going through it slowly and finding pieces of peace I didn’t expect.

Thank you for this book, Ruth

I love that each day offers a short, thoughtful message that feels both grounding and uplifting. It doesn’t preach or overwhelm you, it just reminds you, in a simple and comforting way, that peace really does begin from within. After a few days of reading it each morning, I found myself slowing down, being kinder, and feeling more centered throughout the day. Ruth Fishel’s voice is warm and encouraging, and you can feel her passion for helping people create a more peaceful world. This book has become part of my daily routine, and I’m grateful for how much clarity and calm it’s brought into my life.
