My Review:
Whoa, Nelly! Tail was a cross-genre, sheet-scorching, combustible, and salacious MC/erotic romance with strong elements of suspense and humor. This couple had superhuman endurance, even a horny teenager would need to ingest Viagra by the handfuls and drink water by the gallon to keep up with these two. Between the sexual Olympics was an intriguing and entertaining storyline packed with amusing humor, foul-mouthed yet soft-hearted family men bikers, clever and titillating banter, and heart-squeezing sweet moments. My favorite scenes involved a biker doing a bit of striptease during rather the bachelor auction of an otherwise high-class fund-raising event, meeting the wealthy parentals, and a heavily tatted biker wielding a curling iron while helping his elderly mother with her hair. This MC has an admittedly soap opera dynamic, so much so that they installed a popcorn machine for their snacking pleasure during the personal dramas and antics. I relished the humor, tenderness, and supportiveness of their tribe.

I have such mixed emotions writing this review. Mixed not because Tail wasn’t an awesome addition to the Carolina Bad Boys series, because Tail and Maddie were amazing. Mixed because this is the last book in the series and I don’t want it to end!
Tail has set his sights on Maddie. She’s smart, beautiful, sexy, snarky and fun and also Handsome’s sister! He should be following the off-limits signs, but he just can’t help himself.
And Maddy isn’t going to make things easy for Tail. Sure, he’s hot AF, but he needs to earn his way into her heart and her bed. Maddy knows Tail’s story—his history with women from the stories she’s heard from her brother. But there’s something irresistible about the man, something she just can’t stay away from, regardless of whether he’s good for her or not.
Give me a second to fan myself . . . I just thought about a few of Maddy and Tail’s sexy times . . . good golly, they’re scorching hot between the sheets. But their chemistry goes beyond the bedroom. I loved seeing Tail court Maddy and seeing their relationship blossom into something so much more. They brought out the best in each other and it was so awesome to witness.
I loved Tail and Maddy individually too. Loved how Tail took care of his mom and that she was his top concern—even to his own detriment. But that man was stubborn almost to the point of stupid and I was dying to pull him aside for a serious talkin’ to. I also loved Maddy and her drive to succeed. Loved her “take no shit” attitude! And I loved her relationship with her brother. It was so fun to see how Handsome struggled in keeping himself out of Maddy and Tail’s relationship until he had to help. Help along with the rest of the MC and the boys. Don’t mess with the boys! LOL
Sigh. I could ramble on more about this awesome book, but that won’t stop it from being the last full novel in the series . . . Thank you, Rie Warren, for sharing your boys with me. ~ Missy, 5 stars

What I loved most about this story was Max and her spunkiness. Tail was also a great character. He is the main character and our hero and while I loved him a lot I do think I enjoyed his partner a little bit more. Overall Warren has done a great job with the characters and this setting through all the books of the Carolina Bad Boys. I am always excited to read the next and this is no exception.

Another happy ending for the last of the guys of Retribution! And, surprise - Tail has a soft side!! Most guys wouldn't be able to handle Tail's everyday circumstances with as much grace as he does. And Maddy definitely keeps him on his toes! She's the perfect woman to tame his wild ways and she isn't afraid to step in when and where she sees fit. I'm sad to see the end of the boys from Retribution MC. My next read is the Carolina Bad Boys For Life epilogue! I can't wait to see how Rie ties up all the loose ends!

With the road name of Tail, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to state that Taylor gets all the women that he wants in his bed. However, when he finally decides on one, she doesn't want much to do with him. Madison Rose Rush, is Handsome's sexy sister, and way far off limits. But Tail cannot get her out of his head, nor can he stop trying to make her his. Maddy is the VP of Retribrewtion Brewery, as the heiress to the Rush Distillery empire, and can have any man she wants. She's played the good girl to the hilt, but for whatever reason, she no longer wants that role when Tail comes sniffing around, even though her brother has warned her off of him. That's all I'm giving away, as I've been with this series for some time now, and I refuse to let anything out of the bag, as I believe that EVERYONE should experience this highly addictive, and original series for themselves. I'm a huge fan of the talented Rie Warren, so it's safe to say that I'm feeling a bit nostalgic with the Carolina Bad Boys coming to an end, which may or may not have had my eyes leaking a time or two. Tail and Maddy were another couple that had off the charts chemistry that kept me warm today, as they lit up the sheets with sexy time. Not to mention all of my favorites showcased as colorful cast of secondaries. A few f-bomb worthy twists rounded this fast paced story out perfectly, and I couldn't get enough. Cannot wait to see what Ms. Warren comes out with next, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Rie Warren is one of my go to authors and she’s really outdone herself with this Carolina Bad Boys series. I’ve been hoping for Maddy’s story since she first began appearing in the series – this is the last book of the series and it goes out with a bang!
Tail is known around the club for all the “tail” he gets and Maddy is the woman who changes everything for him. The problem, Maddy is off limits to the club brothers as she’s Handsome’s brother. Tail looks around at all his brothers happily hitched and sees that for himself with Maddy – once his mind is set nothing will get in his way. Tail is known around the club as being a manwhore but in reality he’s the worlds sweetest guy, he takes care of his sick mother and cares deeply for Maddy. Once he’s able to prove his worth to Maddy the rest is history.
I think my favorite part of this book is Maddy’s smart-mouth snarky attitude, it made her a super enjoyable character to read. Then you have Tail – I cannot even with how sweet he really is beneath his rough-biker exterior. This is a book you not only won’t want to put down but that you’ll be sad to see end. I can’t wait to see what series Rie Warren comes up with next!

Tail - who's nickname is based on ... well you can guess if you read MC romances - has realised that everyone is settling down, and knows that he has found the one too. He just hasn't had the nerve, or the time to do anything about it, yet. A bad debt is holding him back, and a fear of admitting weakness to his guys. There are some pretty dramatic events that need to unfurl before he can get the girl, but at least there is no doubt that Maddy wants him just as badly. Love his wooing of her, super sweet, and super hot! Lots of great side characters, including his Ma, and her carer Miss Jeannie.
Lovely installment, where we get to catch up with other couples and see Tail finally get his girl. Not too dark, plenty of passion, delicious!

Exciting, sweet and oh so hot!
Reading Tail was bittersweet. On one hand I was so excited for the next installment to this series that I've grown to love and on the other it was depressing knowing it's the last book. I love these characters, their stories and have read them more than once.
This book belongs to Tail and Maddy. He's the the last one anyone thought would ever settle down and she's his MC brother's little sister. One look and he knew, knew that she was the one. These two together set the sheets on fire. They are playful and sexy.
One of my favorite things about Tail is his love for his Mother. His interactions with her show us just how special of a man he is. And will totally have you falling completely in love with him.

Tail is known as the "manwhore" of the MC. Of course, now he has eyes for his bud's little sister. He is playing for keeps this time. Will everything he has going on in his life get in the way?

Tail can be read as a standalone, but I recommend to read the books in order.
Books 1-6: Stone; Love; Ride- a novella; Chrome; Rush and Tail.
Meet Madison Rose - Maddy - Rush. She´s heiress of a empire and VP of a brewery. But she isn´t a good girl, oh no. Her brother, Maxwell - Handsome - Rush, is a member in the same MC as Tail.
And that takes Maddy in the no no never zone.
Tail, is a good guy, a bit of a ONS guy, but he has a good heart and cares deeply for his loved ones. They really shouldn´t be together, but that doesn´t stop these two. Until a rival MC retaliates against Tail and endangers Maddy.
I really, really love this series, I was so hooked on it. I couldn´t wait to read the final in stallment. It is bittersweet. I love the book, the story and the characters, but what happens now?

You can't help but love this book. I haven't read the rest of the Carolina Bad Boys series yet, but I am head over heels in love with Tail & Maddy.
Tail is the lone remaining officer of the Retribution MC who isn't yet hitched. Everyone has somebody; he doesn't - yet. He's set his sights on Maddy Rush, his MC brother's - Handsome - sister. Despite having relinquished his position as resident manwhore, he has more obstacles than jealousy & an overprotective brother in his way to courting & keeping his "sweetness".
The way Tail wooed Maddy was so sweet. His words, his actions... Maddy never stood a chance. And, boyyyy, their chemistry!!!! Tail surely knows how to talk a girl out of her clothes!!
I can't wait to dive into the other stories in the series. The horseplay between the MC brothers was funny & really showed how close their relationship was as that of brothers.

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Tail is a member of the MC. He has lusted after Maddy for a while, but knows that she could be off limits because she's the sister of Handsome, a fellow brother. That doesn't really seem to bother Tail that much, as he decides to pursue Maddy anyways.
While Handsome isn't too pleased, he does acknowledge that Maddy is her own person. However, Handsome does have an issue with Tail's beef with a rival... Tail owes him money and the rival club is dangerous and mean.
I liked that Tail had a sensitive side - he took care of his mother and wanted her to have the best. It's a side that you probably would not normally see.
This is a typical romance where boy likes girl, girl likes boy, they share some hot chemistry and scenes. The book is part of a series, but I have only read this one and despite not knowing all of the characters, never truly felt lost.
I think this is a sweet story in a MC series and would definitely read more. It shows a softer side of the club and when push comes to shove, all bikers will protect their fellow brothers and family.

I loved this series and hated seeing it end.

Wow someone please hand me a Kleenex..... This one happens to be book number six out of the Carolina bad boys series. It's well worth the wait but if you haven't read the remainder of the series stop go back and read it along with the guys from retribution and x-ops (you will be glad you did)
Now saying that our dear Tail has finally got his book and well let's just say a hellova woman in maddy to go with it. In true cbb fashion your in for a ride from start to finish. One that will make you cry and want to throw your kindle though really don't do that last one ;)
I could tell you more but I might get on Frankies bad side for saying to much (kidding) you will just have to read it yourself and see why we've all fallen for these guys!!!

Tail is the final Carolina Bad Boys book, each can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading this series in order. There's so much you'll miss if you dont!! (in my opinion)
Tail is the club manwhore, I mean just look at his name.
Once he comes face to face with Maddy he can feel something change. He doesn't just want to nail her he wants....more.
Maddy happens to be Handsome's sister and completely offlimits to club brothers, not that that means much once he gets it in his head that she's meant to be his.
Maddy's a strong woman, as always I love my strong heroines, she's one of the most memorble, I love her smart mouth.
She wasn't like most women at all, knowing Tail's history she could have been a whiny clingy pain but she wasn't. I loved her immediatley, Tail I knew I'd eventually love but in the beginning I was on the fence.
I was thrilled to get my hands on this book but once I started reading it I found myself wanting to slow down, to take my time getting to the end because I just wasn't ready for the series to end.
Tail & Maddy's story was a great ending though, it was well worth the wait and is one I'm sure to read again and again.

We pick up where we left off in book 5, or a little before the end of book five from Tail's perspective. We find ourselves at the Retribrewtion opening and party. We find Tail just trying to talk to Maddy, Handsome's little sister and getting burned. Who is Hogg and what business does Tail have with him? Every time Hogg talks to Tail, what happens? What comments does Hogg make to Tail about his mother and Maddy and the babies when he's babysitting one day? I love the puns that Rie Warren has thrown throughout the book, especially when it comes to Tail and Maddy. I love the surprise that Tail is making for Maddy. When a threat is made against Maddy, what does Tail do? What is the retribution for that? When Christmas Eve comes around and Maddy does not show up at her parent's house and everyone is waiting. What does Tail think? What does Handsome do after Tail leaves? I could not help but to smile at the charge to get Maddy. I was cheering Tail and the others on in my head viciously. You're going to have to read this story to find out what happens. All I will say is I cannot wait to start reading book 7 of this series!

Maddie knew about his rep. Didn't keep her from wanting him. She sure wasn't going to make it easy for him. But, how could she resist a big, burly, gorgeous guy who took such good care of his mom suffering from dementia? There was so much more to Taylor than his road name indicated.
She made sure she made the highest bid at the bachelor auction. The date a dinner. At his mom's with the sweet woman who probably wouldn't remember meeting her. Going going gone!
A bad decision sent threats his way. He had to protect Maddie and his mom. Could he? Would the brother who didn't trust his intentions for his little sister help or make matters worse? Will the MC find out and take care of their own?
This is another touching, violent, hot as heck story of love and loyalty with strong characters you either love or hate and will certainly remember.
As the last story of the series comes to an end I am sorry to see it end. However, the author has done a great job of making sure all of the club's officers find their true love. She also has promised an epilog of a future look at them all. I'm in for that. A strongly recommend this whole series. I enjoyed each book.

So sad to see this series ending. I have enjoyed each and every story and will miss the gang. I enjoy reading Rie because she knows how to write a great story. You get details , crossovers , future storylines and of course that super hot super steamy action that Rie knows how to write !! Of course you also get the suspense , violence and HEA's. Just about everything you could want in a story !! I always find myself blushing when I read Rie and not many authors can make me blush anymore !!
This is Tail and Maddy's story and they don't play around. He may be the absolute bad boy , obviously the nickname Tail is a giveaway for that - and she may be the forbidden sister BUT when they know what they want it doesn't matter who is in the way. I love that Maddy is just as confident in herself as Tail is , although Maddy does have him shaking in his boots !! Their romance is fast and easy but oh so dirty. Tail may have a past issue haunting him but he needs to realize that his boys are there for him. If he would have just spoken up the drama and suspense would have been avoided , ok so that would have ruined the book but you get what I am saying !! In the end I was left feeling fulfilled and excited to see that the epilogue was coming out as its own book !! Looking forward to that for sure.

This is the 6th and final book besides the epilogue book of one of my favorite series. I'm super sad and mad that it is ending.
Tail is known with his brothers in the MC as never having an issue getting women one right after the other. Hence his nickname "Tail". It never bothered him before. But, recently he's looked around and he's the last of his brothers to find an old lady, settle down and start a family.
Tail is starting to wonder if having a family of his own could be something he could have in his life. His family is his MC and his mom. He's been taking care of her since he was younger. There's only like two people who know the situation he's got going on with his mom.But, when some of the medical bills get a little crazy he doesn't want to ask his brothers for help and see pity in their eyes. He went to a rival MC and know he's gotta come up with the money to pay them back.
If that wasn't bad enough, he's got somebody else wanting to her him. His best friend and fellow MC brother Handsome. His eye has caught onto Maddy AKA Handsome's sister. Maddy is everything Tail wants in a woman. He knows that Maddy's off limits. But, he doesn't care at this point. All he does care id getting her and then keeping her and his mother happy and safe.
Maddy knows the stories about Tail. She also knows her brother as dubbed her off limits. But, Maddy's grown and her brother can't tell her how to live her life and with who. Tail continue to prove to her over and over again that he's not the guy everyone believes him to be. Tail is it for Maddy and she's not going anywhere.
I legit took my time reading this. I could've finished it in a day. But, didn't bc I didn't want it to end. The guys and girls from the beginning of the series including the 2 spin-offs are here and continue to have me laughing out loud looking crazy to anybody looking in at me lol. This was as good as all the rest that came before it. I'm really truly sad this series and all these guys are officially over. But, I'm a huge fan of Rie and have read 19 books from her and I will continue to read whatever she puts out.

Tail is the sixth title in the Carolina Bad Boys series, whilst I've read several titles in this series, you could easily read this title as a standalone.
Tail is a ladies man, he has a reputation with the ladies, that really hides his true personality. Behind the flirtatious bravado is a kind, caring, sensitive, loving and loyal man who will do anything for those he holds dear.
Maddie is the younger sister of one of his MC brothers, which makes her off limits. She's independent, strong, intelligent and makes Tail prove his worth and work for her attention and affection.
I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between this pair that is playful, flirty, fun and quite full of sexual innuendo and on more than one occasion I found myself laughing out loud at the humorous moments.
Tail is an emotional, sweet, sexy, and heat filled read that is well written, engaging and has endearing character. With the elements of action, danger, and intrigue I've come to expect from Ms Warren I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, love, suspense, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

Last full length book in this series and I like how it finished up!
Tail underneath that man-whore exterior was so super sweet, I was so worried I wouldn't like him but he had a heart of gold, looking after his sick mum and the way he was with Maddy really made him swoon worthy.
Maddy was really great, loved her snarky one-liners and how she seemed to have her head screwed on right! No doormat leading ladies in this series, love that!
It did feel a little repetitive plot wise to the last one, boy meets girl, fall in love, girl taken/kidnapped and MC rescues girl. It all works and flows great so really a minor thing but it felt like the last one a little. Especially how all the MC men seem to start sounding like each other.
We see all the previous characters again, Boomer is still my all time favourite, and I love how the MC brothers come together as a family to sort out any issues.
Overall a great addition to the series and even though this is the last full length book on just one couple and I am satisfied, I am looking for to picking up the epilogue, Carolina Bad Boys for Life and seeing how Rie Warren ends it off for everyone!

OMG this book was the whole package. It was an amazing addition to a wonderful series that I binge read in a week. Ms Warren stays true to her writing style and offers up a steamy, fan yourself read. Tail is a sexy, fun part of the Carolina Bad Boys. He is a big player until he starts dating Maddy (sister to an MC buddy). My favorite parts in this story are how creative and unique the dates are that Tail takes her on (wink wink), you just have to read to know what I am talking about. They are so amazing and filled with heart. The theme of this book for me was FAMILY. Tail's relationship with his mother was so beautiful. What I have always loved about MC books is that family does not always mean who we are related to but who we choose to except as our people. This book provides a look at both, in a sweet and touching way. Oh yeah, you get steamy and sexy too. It wouldn't be a Rie Warren book without. It also wouldn't be an MC book without some intrigue in the mix as well which you get as the story progresses. I definitely recommend this story. Happy Reading!!!

Well who would have guessed, Tail (appropriately dubbed), manwhore extraordinaire, would have a soft gooey center and a heart of gold. Let's just say, the old adage holds, if you want to get a sense of the man's true character, watch how he treats his Mom.
This is the final full length novel in Rie Warren's Carolina Bad Boys series and I confess, I'm oh so sad to see it end. Between this series and the two spinoff series, I think it's safe to say this author knows how to do 'bad boys'. I have enjoyed each and every one of their stories and Tail and Maddy's complete this band of brothers and their love matches.
You want a little edge of your seat excitement in your book, this series has it.
You want hot, alpha bad boys, who know how to protect and take care of their women...yep, it's got that too.
I really can't say enough good things about the hours of entertainment this author's work has brought me. I highly recommend you go one-click this entire series, I promise you won't regret it!

I am so sad that this is the last Carolina Bad Boys book, but if it had to end, Tail was a good candidate to end with. In the previous books Tail is pesky brother type that picks and picks until you want to do bodily harm. He's also the resident manwhore in a room full of former manwhores and he's totally ok with that. Well he was ok with that until he meets Madison Rose Rush and it's all over after that. Tail is so sweet, good to his little mama, sexy hot and totally in love with Maddy. Maddy is perfect for Tail too. She's an independent woman who knows what she wants and she really wants Taylor Gunner, or Tail to his friends. This book is typical of Ms. Warren's others, sexy as all get out, sweet in so many ways and too funny for words...those guys are freakin hilarious!!
I hate to say good bye to these amazing guys, their mechanic friends, x-op amigos, romance writer brother in law, throw in an ex mafia hitman tailor and all their significant others and small children and you have a totally dysfunctional mixture of misfits that just work, don't know how they do, but they do. These books remind me so much of the made up Texas world of Cynthia and Sara Rayne and their Four Horsemen MC and Lone Star Mafia books...same type of craziness. I'll miss these amazing stories, but the joy of owning all of them is that I get to visit any old time I want to. Thanks for the fabulous stories Ms. Warren, can't wait to see what you come up with next.

There was one scene I fell absolutely in love with and it was when Maddy was seeing a different side of Tail aka Taylor, “yeah, so there’s that.” Bringing her hand to my lips, I kissed her fingertips with a brush of my tongue. “Now shut up and come inside so I can finish basting the turkey and stuff.” Tail can be a little slow on getting his girl's meaning:

So far I have read Stone, Rush and now Tail and I actually started with Rush and I know I should have read them in order but I just wanted to let readers know you can still make heads and tails of the series if you don't.
Wow Tail did he grab my heart (except his goatee I just pictured him without it haha) This story is another bad boy who loves his mother and treats women and his friends with respect but Tail knows when to turn bad.
Maddy is a good girl who knows how to be bad for Tail. Their romance is steaming hot with lots of sweet. Such a cute couple. I also love all of the characters from past books still popping up. It's great to see how all of the couples are evolving.
Will start the epilogue before I head back to book two and finally get to read Nick.
Wow Tail did he grab my heart (except his goatee I just pictured him without it haha) This story is another bad boy who loves his mother and treats women and his friends with respect but Tail knows when to turn bad.

Tail is known as a bad boy and a player but anyone that truly knows him, knows the truth. Yes, he has had is fair share of women but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a heart. His mom is proof of that. Maddy is Rush’s sister and Tail knows that Rush will kill him if he hurts her. It takes him a while to make Maddy see that he is serious. When danger comes around for Tail, he will do anything to keep Maddy and his mom safe. His brothers always have his back and this MC never backs down. Excellent read and an even better storyline.
