This is my kind of book. It's Dark, gory, sexy and sinfully good.
Anika witnessed her mother being murdered, raped and butchered when she was young..
A few years after that her father kills himself in order to protect her and her brother.
Needles to say that Anika has a dark soul after witnessing all the torment she grew up around.
Her need for Revenge is fierce, she has a thrist for the blood of thoses who took her family from her.
She has a hard time channelling her anger. All that being said Anika is a kickass hacker she is also brilliant, and lethal. She can do what most professionals and seniors who work for the FBI and CIA can't.
Anika is blackmailed into hacking into Carter's company computer to destroy his plans and prototypes so the technology can be sold
On the black market.
This should be an east job for her but it's not,the chemistry between the two is scortching HOT 🔥🔥🔥
Holy the sex scenes are HAF..

Arc provided by author for honest review. When I first heard about Binary I couldn't wait to read it. And when Sarah approached me to read and review it I was beyond happy and honoured. Binary is not your average BDSM book, no its way more than that and so much better. It's stacked with action, pain, horrid events. And the sex scenes Omg they will met your panties off lol. Binary is not only 5 star read, it blew my mind!

when I first heard a preview of this book I was already addicted. and knew I had to read it. the sex scenes are HOTT. it's not the average romance novel. it keeps you on your toes. one if my favorite books this year. keep it coming girl

WOW!!!
Sarah has done an amazing job with this dark romance.
It is the balance between sexy and dangerous that kept me intrigued the whole way through. It really gives us a chance to see the difference between bad people and good people who do bad things.
I have always enjoyed Sarah's books but if this is how she does dark then I fully support it!

So yes, that’s 5 stars written in Binary.
This is not my usual genre, I didn’t know what to expect. I have to be honest, I loved every freakin’ word and every freakin’ drop of blood that was spilt.
Anika Borkova and Carter Linwood both had traumatic events happen in their childhood that have made them who they are today. What are they? They’re 2 broken-dirty-twisted-sick-fucs. Anika is “beautifully broken” and Carter is “someone who’s already broken”. They’re like 2 broken jagged pieces of glass that fit perfectly together.
Anika’s on a mission and Carter is a complication that she doesn’t want or need (at least at first). I loved that Carter was not a wimp and didn’t give up on Anika when she refused to give them a chance. I found Carter’s character sexy, strong, and smart. Anika? What can I say, the chick is a leather pants wearing, motorcycle riding, ass kicking, bad ass chick with brains. If she doesn’t kill you with her hands, gun, or knife, she’ll get you with her keyboard and hacking skills.
The story was solid writing that flowed perfectly. You wanted to see these 2 not only get their HEA, but their revenge as well.
Finally, this books was perfectly titled.

I took a dip into the dark side, then plunged in head first! HOLY CRAP! Sarah. This. book. was. spectacular.
Anika and Carter are both so dark and broken that they are a match made in hell, but they fit together perfectly. Their connection both physical and emotional is unbreakable. I couldn't put this book down, I had to know where their depraved paths took them together.
Everything is so thoroughly detailed that I envisioned the book playing out in my head while I read it. The backstories of the characters, plot and everything in between were amazing. If you are up for a dark, gripping and out of the norm read, I promise you Binary doesn't disappoint.

This book is not what I was expecting at all. It’s refreshing to find a strong alpha female. I really liked the story line. The characters are very strong. The flow was good. Overall a pretty good book.

Now, let's get to the good stuff, which means I'm about to throw my brain up on this screen ....
Anika Borkova is bad ass Russian bombshell. Having lost her parents as a teenager and having to hold life together for her and her brother, she quickly learns that life ain't always roses. She does whatever she has to do to keep her brother out of trouble and herself afloat. Now that she's armed with the knowledge of what happened the day her life changed forever, revenge is the only thing on her mind. What she wasn't counting on was a curveball named Carter.
Carter Linwood is a genius. Not only is he a genius, but he's sexy as all get out. Self-made and determined, he thrives on having control. Control in the office, in the bedroom, and life in general. So when he's stopped in his tracks by a blue-eyed beauty, he's thrown completely off his game. All he know is he has to have her, but that's kind of hard when said beauty blows you off. Carter's not sure what to do. He's been consumed by thoughts of this girl and he's never been denied. Never fear Carter, Anika is here. But she's coming when he least suspects it and that's when it's beneficial for her and her ultimate goal.
So, have you ever read a book so vivid, you can see the scenes as you read them? Well, that is what you get when you read Binary. Sarah Cole did an amazing fucking job taking you on a dark and depraved journey with Anika and Carter. Lots of blood and kind of gory, you may not want to imagine all of these scenes, but I did. And let me tell you, it was beautiful. I was so into this story, that I felt what the characters felt. Anika wasn't big on showing emotion or crying, so I did it for her. And I'm not even a little bit joking. Shit got real and tears had to be shed, so sue me.
Sarah's character development of Carter and Anika was on point. You learn so much about these two, that it makes sense why they are the way they are. Personally I think Anika stole the show, or the story. And I'm not sure how you'll feel when you read Binary, but Anika scared the shit out of me. She's not only bad ass, but she's so fucking smart. The binary code tattoo, with the double meaning? Come on! I'm not sure what scared me more, her or her brain? Her brain is what made her sexy to me. Girls love to be called pretty, but not all of them can be called smart. Anika being both, was hot as fuck.
Their love story is also beyond perfect. Immediately you see how taken Carter is with Anika, and that type of love is rare. To know you have an instant connection with someone, is not something everyone can figure out, but Carter definitely knew right away. He fell and loved hard despite the consequences, and it was beautiful to read. And let's not even start on the sex. My gosh, the sex! Remember when I said you may not want to imagine some of the scenes, well disregard that disclaimer right now! The sex between these two was just as dark and depraved as the rest of the story, but I mean that in the best of ways. It will make your heart race and your panties melt. Make sure you sit under your A/C, because heat stroke is possible.
Sarah did her thing when she wrote Binary. She is really able to tap into your emotional brain and Binary has the ability to cut you open and bleed you out, while reading it. This story will leave you raw and worse for the wear, but you'll love every minute of it. If you're not into the whole blood and gore thing, too bad, open this book and get caught up in the debauchery. This is the perfect book to be released on Halloween, so if you have yet to one-click and pre-order Binary, what the hell are you waiting on? I'll even do you a solid and provide you with the link. Sarah Cole dives into the darkness and pulls the reader in along with her. I've been seeing the teasers of Binary on all my social media and I knew I HAD to one click it. This author does not disappoint, she grips you with words that flow and characters you fall in love with. Dark, suspenseful, and ultimately a sexy, mind f*ck read.
If this is Sarah writing dark, she needs to stay on the band wagon and NEVER get off!

Binary was my first read by Sarah Cole and I'm seriously pinching myself I've been missing out! If you haven't had the pleasure to read her books I recommend you to start with this dark romance!
Anika Borkova OMG! This heroine right here is my kind of heroine she's like no other she's tough as steel, beautiful, smart-really fucking smart, sassy, and a total bad ass bitch that would kill you in an instinct with no remorse. I can honestly tell you she's one of my favorite heroines I have had the pleasure to encounter so thank you, Sarah, for creating a strong-minded heroine. Anika is a broken girl she experienced many dark and twisted things that would make you hurt for her. She was young when she experiences the brutal death of her mother and later her fathers' suicide but even with all this happening to her she keeps her head up and never looked back while taking revenge with her sweet bare hands. But when she meets Carter sparks let loose, ovaries exploded and everything starts getting out of control and she can only keep so little at a time or she'll loose everything.
"I will love you with every part of my soul until the world burns down around me, and I burn with it."-Anika
Carter Linwood, I love his character and how he plays out in this story he's the perfect alpha male for a crazy alpha female. He's a sweet, genius, sexy alpha male, with a control more palpable than Anika. He's a broken soul waiting to be whole but would he be whole by control or by someone he's not expecting to say the least? I love how he never gave up on Anika he saw the best of her never judge her demons because let's be real here everyone is fighting their own demons in their own way. I love how he knew what she needed and wanted either if it was in the bed or in her heart.
“When are you going to realize that I’ve already walked a dark path of my own? Ani, I’d follow you into the fiery pits of hell if it meant I was walking beside you.”-Carter
Overall I absolutely LOVE this book and I truly recommend this book to anyone that loves an angsty, dark, twisted, bloody revenge, with some hot as fuck BDSM scenes, a crazy heroine and a sweet/hot as fuck hero. Both characters will make you feel every emotion they're feeling. You'll experience grieve, love, forgiveness, betrayal, and a control so fierce that you'll definitely obey any orders coming from Carter fucking Linwood! Would control win or love?

WOW … Binary took me on a trip to the dark side, and I don’t know if I want to come back!! At first glance, I knew I wanted to get my hands on this one. The cover is gorgeous, and the synopsis left me wanting, no needing more! This was a twisted story of love, lust, revenge, and SIN 🔥

Anika is strong, independent, resourceful, and utterly brilliant. She has lived most of her adult life without needing a true connection, until Carter Linwood walks into the picture.

BINARY is an erotic romance specifically made for IT professionals/computer geeks!!! Not really but sort of! Not being an IT professional myself, I had no difficulties sifting through all the computer jargon, appreciating that this is a very well written book. Interspersed with the intellect is a hot, passionate romance; both main characters are flawed, eventually coming together to share an intense relationship (including some hot BDSM). Blackmail, secrets, Russian mafi, revenge, hacking, FBI agents, BDSM and more!!!

Woow..... I absolutely LOVED this book!
Okay, SuperWoman's powers are nothing in comparison to everything Anika can do, but I loved it! Not as dark as you hoped it would be; actually, I think, besides what happened to Anika as a child, this isn’t a dark book at all! Nevertheless, I think it’s an amazing book! Just the way I like’um! 😃 Loved the chemistry between Anika and Carter.... even the instant lust/love didn't bother me. It’s definitely a 5-star read for me… I even think it deserves a spot on my ‘favorites’ shelf. First time reading a book written by this author. Certainly gonna check out more of her books.

Binary is just SO GOOD. It’s suspenseful and sexy, dark and dirty, and I loved it! Lethal heroines are my jam and Anika Borkova does not disappoint. I highly recommend this book!

This is a new author for me. I'm glad I took the time and read Binary. The characters draw you in and keep you on your toes, especially Anika.
Anika and Carter both have past, which have changed them. Anika tackles her past head first. It is usually bloody and rather deadly. With Carter, he tries to forget his past. He moves forward in both business and personal affairs.
To me, Anika was such a strong character but she annoyed me just a little--mainly because it took her awhile to open up. It seems that some things throughout the story could have been prevented by her opening up. However, I understood the reasons why she had reservations in opening up.
I thought it was funny when Anika made excuses on who a person was or why she was hurt. Carter was so blind to what was going on because of the feelings he was developing. When everything comes to ahead, Anika isn't the only who has to reveal herself. Carter has to communicate the dark parts of his past. It is emotional but needed for both.
I loved through everything Carter showed love unconditionally. There aren't many who would do so but with Anika it came easily. I also loved how with Anika protecting Carter was like second nature. She didn't have to think about. It was a given.
The ending was perfect. It was tied it up nicely. The author might be new but it doesn't seem like her first rodeo.

Awesome
This is a great book. It's full of action, fun, strong characters, great smut, and has an interesting plot that will keep you fully engaged. I just have a few little cons. I didn't feel much of a connection between Carter and Anika, other than a sexual one. I know that Anika was very guarded, but I would have liked to have read about them getting to know each other better on a basic level ; what they like, dislike, favourite movies, food etc. I think I would have felt more of a connection with, and, between them if that happened. I also have a pet peeve in books that have characters that speak languages other than English. I've read so many books where dialogue takes place and the author writes something like, "he said "leave me alone" in Spanish/Russian/Italian etc. ". Instead of just writing it in that language and then writing the translation in italics beside it. To me, it just shows a lack of respect for that language, and I'd rather Google the translation than read it written that way. This book also needs a bit of editing. There are some grammatical, and punctuation errors throughout, but it's not to the point of being annoying. I took one star off for my cons. This story is extremely good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 100% recommended.

Binary was the perfect amount of dark. Full of angst and conflicted souls that spoke to my little dark heart.
Both characters are damaged and reading through the novel I
understood why. Both Anika and Carter have a darkness inside of them.
Demons, from their past that need to be feed to keep contained
They both crave power and the only way to gain it is by satisfying their particular thirst.
When Anika and Carter cross paths you can only imagine the allure they feel for one another. A connection so strong that it could be felt across a room.
The hotness level was through the roof! The attraction was a sinful dark pull that spoke to each other’s inner beast.
They were a perfect fit.

Anika is a bad a** who takes revenge into her own hands and goes after the people who shattered her innocence on her thirteenth birthday.
Anika’s sole purpose is to get revenge for that horrific night. The night that change everything.. the night that made her the way she is today. A cold hearted murderer who doesn’t let no one in.

Where do I start with this one? Right from chapter one- that's where. Some books take time to feel the characters out-not this one. Sarah Cole did a beautiful job at sucking you right in from the beginning. You could feel the allure of each character individually and then the chemistry between the both of them together was combustible. Woo they were hot! And you knew it was coming too. The anticipation was killing me. The storyline itself will hold you right to the very end.
The characters themselves have issues. One more than the other, but your heart feels for them both. Sarah has a way of making you feel the compassion for the heroine and rooting her in here quest for revenge, but then in the back of your head you're like this chick needs serious therapy, but man she is bad ass. As much as this is a dark romance, you won't finish this book thinking what did I just read? But more like saying- dang that was a good book give me more!

I am a huge fan of Sarah's work and when I heard about her new book Binary I was super excited to read it. I was even more thrilled to get it early and review it. I suck at writing reviews and I hope I can do this book justice. Sarah did not disappoint with this book. This book is dark but not in a bad way. It has hot sex, a bit of bdsm, murder and a bit of an alpha male. This book was getting me so worked up at times I had to take breaks and come back to it. If you have read her Fading to Light Duet books you will revisit some of the characters. I truly look forward to reading Sarah's work and can not wait to see what she turns out next.

Although this book started off a little slow. I loved it like no other. It was hot, dark and edgy wrapped up in a pretty pink bow for readers who like reading this type of series. The only reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 is because of some misspelled words. But, not enough to deter me from continuing to read. Cant wait to read other books by this Author

Loved it
Anika has been through alot. From watching her mother be tortured and murdered to her father committing suicide 5 years to the day of the tragedy. Carter has been through his fair share. From being kidnapped, held for ransom and tortured when he was younger. When two dark souls meet things st tart to heat up. This book is a page turner that you will not want to put down

If you love dark books with a crazy, alpha female and some bdsm mixed into it then this is seriously one you can’t pass on reading. Anika from 13 had her world changed and revenge is on her mind daily. Meeting Carter might bring some light into her world but is Anika willing to change? Or will the darkness end up corrupting Anika forever? Amazing story that keeps you on the edge till the end. I loved Anika finally a strong kick ass female! Plus Carter that man would have me bend my knees to him wow he’s so sexy and lovable. Definitely a kick ass suspenseful read! I didn’t want the story to end! 5/5 stars *** I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book **

Oh Shit! this book is frigging awesome, I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review, and honestly you need to read It! it's dark and dirty and hot...those sex scenes gahhh!..its a dark read aswell...it ticks all my boxes, the amount that Ani goes through, no wonder she is twisted and after revenge, she wasn't looking for love she didn't deserve It. But love found her in her dominate boss who she has to steal from, the only thing she steal is Carter's heart.
