Alexander Grant grew up by the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. He studied geology and dreamed of discovering a rare dinosaur fossil. However, the call of his seafaring ancestors proved overwhelming and this, coupled with a growing interest in international politics, led him to travel to four continents while pursuing a career in media and, ultimately, working in an International Organisation.
He now lives in Flanders, Belgium tending a big garden, playing basketball and devising epic fantasy tales. He combines two of his great passions, writing and strategy, to produce the King's Lion series.

Wonderful!

In this book the King’s Lion helps to extend the influence of the Eagle Empire. We are introduced to new characters and places in the world of the Eagle Empire. And I can’t wait to see what issues the King’s Lion has to deal with next. I recommend this book!

This is the 3rd book in the King’s Lion series. As in the first two books the author shows how well used battle tactics and surprises can enable a smaller better trained army defeat a bigger army with less capable leaders. As usual new and interesting characters and customs are introduced. A very good read and looking forward to the next book.

I’ve jumped into this series at this, it’s third book. That was a mistake - not because I couldn’t follow along. I definitely could, though it was clear I was missing background. Nope, it’s (a bit ironically) because it WAS SO GOOD. great characters, action and plot. Now I feel stupid not having started with book 1. Still, as for this one? Definitely easy to recommend.

Really good

Really enjoyed this book. Thank you Alexander for a book that is well written. We once again see the magnificence of the King's Lion. This man can do no wrong. Lol. He has a plan for everything. Thanks for expanding the world and letting us know that there can be many more stories of the Lion. Loved the aggressive Lion, and the new characters. Please inject more of Helena, really enjoyed getting to know her in book 2.

Awesome series continues.

It's not just the King's Lion in peril this time, the misbehaving inhabitants of a land across the sea are not going to quite know what's hit them when a mysterious stranger, bereft of his memory, washes up on their shores.

Another superbly enjoyable outing in Grant's well constructed world. Rife with humour, action and battles there's nary a dull moment.

New characters, new adventures, same great world building and terrific battle tactics on display.

Good Story

Relying on the previous books for certain characters and a general description of settings, this book continues to develop the plot of the Series. My only negative feedback is the typos and spelling errors that are distraction.
