"Dana brings a fresh perspective to improving our relationships with ourselves and everyone else in our lives. Everyone can relate to this book because there are so many different lessons to get out of Hannah’s story. This book profoundly resonated with me and I can only hope it will resonate with you, too.” Fold placement may vary slightly.

Fresh out of cosmetology school, Hannah Marie Kinsell dons her “big-girl” panties and moves a whopping two hours away to start her career in Tall Pines, USA. Reality sets in as she discovers the joys of working for Evan, who is certain he is God’s gift to women.
There is light however, in the relationships she builds and the things shared in the Beauty Shop. Hannah begins to celebrate and grow from the diversity of her clients – small town folk with big hearts and big idiosyncrasies.
With help from God (The voice of truth) and Grandma, Hannah makes her way, even discovering a new way one can lose hair!
Conversations in the Beauty Shop is a delightful tale of “pushing through” until one day – the panties fit!

Dana Williams was born in Las Cruces, N.M. She now lives in Ruidoso, N.M. with her husband Mark, of 31 years. She owns Bare Essentials Day Spa. They have two sons, Marcus and Samuel. Their family spends three months every summer in Naknek, Alaska, where they work side by side, commercial fishing for Wild Alaskan Salmon. They also run Willbros Salmon
Company, and Naknek Who’s There B&B. Dana also has Wild Alaska Tour Company. She loves Alaska and is passionate to share it’s beauty with all.
Dana has always loved to journal and express her thoughts in writing. She has been a hair stylist (or hairdresser back in the day!) for 36 years. Twenty years ago the seed for this book was planted in her. She ignored it for many years, but continued to journal about life and the beauty shop. Although this book is fiction and no character is any true person, you may find bits and pieces of yourself in the different characters.
Dana is working on her next book. She continues to work at using up all God has put in her to create. She wants to inspire each and every person to live authentic lives, to not give up on their dreams, but to believe and live their dreams.
