Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair share of negative responses then one day, in a studio next to where I was working, a model failed to turn up for a shoot. The photographer asked around if anyone would be interested in doing a topless shoot… and the rest, as they say, is history!
My topless modeling career took off in 1996 when I appeared in The Sun as part of the ‘Page 3′ pictorial. The legendary section of the tabloid features a different girl each day posing topless. I was the first topless model to grace the Page 3 for a whole week – fully dressed on a Monday, then each day revealing more and more untill Friday – full topless. The exposure boosted my career and I soon became one of the UKs most famous models, under the pseudonym ‘Jordan.’
From there on I graced many magazine front covers , not just in the UK but also across Europe. My popularity soon reached even further afield and I posed for Playboy, landing on the front cover of the September 2002 issue.
I have been through many well-publicised relationships. And my illnesses, including the removal of a tumor from one of my fingers and complications with my pregnancies and family, have been very public.

I am a huge fan of Katie Price’s books, both fiction and non-fiction however Playing with Fire is probably one of her weakest so far. I know Rebecca Farnworth who wrote the earlier books sadly passed away a few years ago and I don’t think the new ghostwriter is half as good as Rebecca was.
If I had only one word to describe Playing with Fire then I would choose dull. To me it is a book of missed opportunities and is quite tame. The sex scenes read like they are written by a teenager and literally nothing exciting happens for the majority of the book and even the exciting stuff that does happen is just boring and lacklustre. In basic terms we have an events planner who meets a club owner who is of course the most amazing looking person on the planet with a huge dick, a whirlwind romance sees her on the front of the magazines rather than in the background and it’s not long before trolls on the internet are making her life hell.
Indigo is a nice enough character but she was never fully brought to life in my opinion. She was a very weak character. Connor, the aforementioned hung Greek god-esque club owner was again a dull character who remove the looks and money didn’t really have much else going for him. The enemies in the story are very tame and actually quite pathetic that I spotted a mile off what was happening which made this a predictable and boring read because it was so obvious where the story was going to go. The ending was rushed, unbelievable and so sickeningly sweet that it had me rolling my eyes more than anything.
If you look at my reviews of Katie’s previous books you will see they have all been 4 or 5 star reads and that’s because I have loved them. I think Katie has enough going on in her life at the moment to worry about ghostwriters but I strongly recommend that she ditches the one she has been using because these books are missing the fantastic storytelling that Rebecca Farnworth brought to them. This wasn’t a planned read or an author I know of, I was in my local library and spotted the cover and it took my fancy. I always love a romance and it sounded fun and exciting and it really didn’t disappoint!
Easy to read, fun, sexy and with drama that really did keep me on my toes and wanting to know more! It was a fun and quick read and I’ll definitely try another of the authors romance books.

Katie Price books are my guilt pleasure and so I was excited to read a new one. But sadly this really was a disappointment. Indigo is a strong, independent woman as are all the women in these novels and the plot was good, but it dragged on and went off on a tangent somewhere in the middle. I got bored with it and wondered when all the drivel was going to stop. The ending was very much like a fairy tale and a bit cliched.
The other really annoying thing was the constant descriptions of Indigo and Hollies clothes, hair, make up, in every single scene. What they wore, what colour it was, what style/cut it was/ was it short or long, was there a pattern on it, did it match her shoes/bag, how their hair was, cut, colour, style, make up colours etc etc. I get it, set the scene but this was so tedious and made the book appear very superficial.

Normally love Katie price books but couldn't really get into this one. I did finish it but it was a struggle. An ok read but wasn't too bothered about the characters or storyline.

I am a big fan of Katie Price's fiction stories and this was another great story. I had preordered this book and as soon as it arrived I was reading it. I loved every minute of it.
Yes it's very light hearted and a romantic novel and something only probably a female would read.

When I first started reading this book I thought to myself that this isn’t written the same way as her previous books. I googled who her ghost writer was and was shocked to find out that the lady who used to write the books sadly died a couple of years ago - hence why I thought it didn’t feel the same. All the previous books have been so easy to get into and kept you reading more.
Anyway I finally managed to get into the story and it turned out not to be a disappointing read after all - I ended up really enjoying it.
Usual type of chick-lit full of glamorous and troubled characters making you wondering what it would be like if you had the celeb lifestyle.

This book turned out to be such a disappointment for me. I previously really enjoyed Katie's other novels and was expecting the same from this one.
I'm not sure if I enjoyed the others because it's been a while since I read them or because this one is by a different ghost writer.
Either way, I didn't enjoy the book. I didn't like any of the characters, even Indigo. She was okay but just a bit boring and I wasn't a fan of the amount of bad language. Wasn't a fan of Connor either, did not see the appeal at all.
Overall I just found the book a bit boring. I wanted it to be finished but didn't want to read it. Nothing interesting really happened and it was a bit predictable.

To be honest I always enjoy Katie Price’s Fiction Adult books but the format for all of them is that same. Girl meet boy, falls madly in love, everything great for a few weeks, boy and girl have massive row, girl ends up forgiving boy and they all live happily ever after. Usually with a glitzy showbiz style career and a jealous ex thrown in to the story and girl is always a devoted family girl who has had a tragedy in her back ground.
This book was no different so didn’t really disappoint just wish it was a bit less predictable.

massive fan of katie's books they are usually easy to read and great fun this book wasn't a patch on the others as pointed out by others a different ghostwriter was used Katie should get someone else.
the book wasn't her best and I had to force myself to read it indigo was a great character but there was little in the way of storylines and a weak plot I hope katie's next novels are a better read.
