Could be better
Don't get me wrong this book was good and could have a great story line. The editing in this book is horrible. The author repeats herself way to much we don't need a recap in every chapter of the book just so you can stretch it it out book 2 should have been the ending but because of the constant repeating it drug on and on. Please stop the whole said my best friend journee uncalled for and very annoying now I need Journee to stop acting like a child either take that man back or move on but it's really clear that they have feelings for each other. And please don't let her lose the baby I would like to read book 3 but if it's written like book 1 and 2 I may pass on it I just can't read a book like that again words missing and that constant repeating of what happened from each person no EDIT THE BOOK BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT

It had been 8 years, and Journee been moved on with her life, with her boyfriend Kairo. Kairo wasn't Juelz, but Journee did love him. Everyone that knew of Juelz and Journee's history, wanted the two of them together. There was something that Journee needed to tell Juelz, and if Juelz ever found out, Juelz would give Journee the business.
Alexis was Journee and Nikki's favorite bae. Alexis had previously been in the marines, and was engaged to Free. Alexis knew that Free was doing his own thing, but she didn't know to what extent, but Alexis was busy doing her, so she didn't really mind. Journee and Nikki didn't know too much about Alexis's relationship, but they felt that she deserved better than what her fiancé as giving her, and they wanted her to be happy.
Khadijah, Journee's younger sister, wasn't a preteen anymore, but a young lady. Journee raised her to be respectful, no nonsense, and honorable, but she was never one to bite her tongue. If Khadijah thought it, she spoke it, point blank period. Smoke had his eyes on Khadijah since she was 12, but she was much too young. Once she was of age, they started right where they left off. Imagine Smoke's surprise when he bumped into Khadijah after not seeing her after so many years.
Nikki and Skeet were no longer boyfriend and girlfriend, but they were now married! Skeet was Nikki's first everything, the only man she ever loved, and to me, that was priceless. Nikki was the only one that was in Journee's ear on telling Juelz the truth, but whether she agreed with Journee's decision or not, she was her number one supporter. There was always something about Giselle and Kairo that Nikki never liked, or trusted, and Nikki was going to get to the bottom of it.
Once Juelz learned of Journee being back around his part of town, he was on a mission. In Juelz's mind, Journee always belonged to him. It was selfish of Juelz, because even though he wanted Journee, he was still with Giselle, and he knew that Journee was with Kairo. Juelz also had a child with Giselle, so it was much more complicated than just being together. Juelz wasn't the same young, dumb, boy he once was. He was somewhat of a heartless goon, that went after what he wanted. He realized that Journee was the one for him, he just had to get her to see that she was for him.
Giselle thought that she had it all. She had the love of her life, Juelz, and a daughter by Juelz. but she was still unhappy, but she now had a partner in crime, Tyra. Tyra was Kairo's ex-wife, and Giselle's best friend. Kairo and Giselle had more in common, than what anyone thought, because both of them were living a double life. When word got back to her about Journee, she was not only intimidated and threatened by Journee, but she was terrified of being exposed.
All of these characters are connected in more ways than anyone ever knew. Secrets are exposed, hearts get broken, and things get real! I can't wait for part 3, because Free has lost his mind!

🔥🔥🔥🔥!
OMG! This had so many twists and turns. Although Juelz was wrong for the part he played in their relationship ending, Journee was wrong for keeping Jueleez from Juelz. Kairo was a fool to lie to her about him and Tyra, but as they say you never miss what you had til its gone. I am glad that she finally told Juelz how she felt, but this ending....can't wait to read part 3

Ok read
This book could have been better it s time for these characters to mature. Book all over the place ,too much negative behavior. To much repetitive phrases. This book should have stopped here .

Good story
The story is still good. More fast paced than part 1. I still gave it only 3 stars because of the overwhelming amount of typos and missing words. It still reads like a dyslexic person wrote it. But like before I'll read part 3 cuz the story really is good and funny.

Almost had me
Loved the first book, but this one just to damn messy. It's like you kept adding more and more unnecessary twists, turns, and plots to prolong the story. You had a great story but messed it up with all the extras..sad

OMG this book was action pack from being to end
Journee and Juelz story continues and he learns that that he has a daughter with Journee and she kept it from him 8 years. That was definitely a low blow I understand she was hurt by Jules for cheating on her with Giselle. That was unfair and selfish especially when she knew Jules loved her and She fought Giselle over him. Then to add salt to injury she lied and told him it wasn't his daughter when Jueleez look like Juelz. Julez demand a DNA test on both daughters and told Journee to set it up with the lab. Giselle was not going to get her daughter Kassence tested because she knew Juelz wasn't her daughter father Free was her dad and she use him for 8 years. Tyra was Kario wife he was still married to her the whole time he was with Journee he loved and wanted to marry her he was trying to divorce her. Things got of hand with Jealously, Lies ,Disloyalty, Betrayal, Mayhem, Cheating. Journee flip and shot Tyra in the face and beat her up for coming to her house about Kario she felt so betrayed by Kario and his cheating and jump on him also. Julez told his other Kassence daughter to go stand with her sister Free told him that Giselle baby girl was his she was name after him he did a DNA test 3 weeks after she was born he and Giselle was messing around for 8 years he knew she cheated but to use a child to keep him was pushing it. Alexis shoot Free in the chest twice she knew he was cheating on her she didn't who it was Giselle .Because she caused Journee and Juelz to break and she jumped her because he was on so many levels she show. Free picture of his dad was sexual things to her it hurted him he wanted to get revenge on Alexis. It love triangle between Journee and Juelz and Kario he wasn't giving her up. Journee heart belong to Juelz but she loved Kario but she couldn't be with him anymore she still in love with him did she fight for him. She slept with Juelz he got her pregnant on purpose She very upset with him they had some unresolved issues both them was stubborn. Despite the journey they have been on the rollar coaster ride with their relationship they still love each other. Kario wasn't letting Journee go without a fight how far would he go . The night of Skeet birthday her best friend Nikki husband birthday party everything changed. Journee told Juelz she loved him and all hell broke lose with Juelz date Miamor she throws a drink in Journee face Juelz would let her fight in her condition. Alexis was over Journee love triangle and the jumped on his date for disrespectful to her friend Khadijah didn't play about her sister Journee. Free was seeking revenge on Alexis for hurting him and hurting him with her betrayal. Own the way to take Journee home they were being followed by a black Suv they were hit from behind and the car turned over Journee was kidnapped by Free Kario brother Alexis called Nikki told her what happened and to call Juelz they . Free broke the driver side window he wanted to kill her. It definitely has to be a third book to Journee and Juelz will Journee and Alexis get hurt because of her ties to Juelz who loved her still will Kario win her back after his betrayal. Will Alexis get hurt because Free wanted vengeance on her for hurting him when he loved her whole lot of twisted and turns. Will Juelz save Journee from Kario so many unanswered questions.

Again I really like the storyline but why oh why do we have to have so many errors... Also most of this book was just a constant recap of the storyline... And it did a recap over and over... I was like wait I am reading the book I know what has happened why do you have to keep saying it and with every character... Not sure if this is the only way to get the word count up or not but it REALLY pulls away from a storyline that could be good... It almost made me not want to continue reading... But I really want to know how it will all play out...
Now see I missed so much in the 8 years from the last book that I didn't really get a feel for Kairo... Now with me reading about him, I feel disconnected from him... So and I don't know if he was good to Journee and her daughter or not... and now I dont like the way he is moving...
I thought I wanted Journee and Juelz to get back together after everything was out there... But the more I read about him... The less I want them together... How is he gonna keep putting his hands on her and threatening her and say he can't stand her... Yet he wants to have sex with her... They are both single he is out here with a whole girlfriend all of a sudden but then has the nerve to be all in his feeling because another guy is talking to Journee... Boy go sit down somewhere with your new girlfriend and let Journee be great...
I did feel some type of way about how Jueleez was brought out in this book... I was like Journee's sister was the auntie and Jueleez supposedly is the identical twin to Juelz... So how would Journee's sister not even know that Juelz was the father... That just sid not make any sense to me... Then I was like hello... Her name is like his as well... Her sister cant be that dumb...
Now with this Alexis and Free... That didn't really feel like they had a relationship... They never paired together... Free wanted Giselle so bad... Yet when he can finally have her he is worried and in his feeling about Alexis...
These men I tell you... They do not know what they want so they try to take it all... but it does not work like that... So don't be all in your feelings when you keep playing games and someone does not want to play anymore and leaves the game...
And see... Just because these men are all in their feelings they are out here doing the most... Why do they keep putting these womens life on the line because they can't just except the L and keep it pushing...
Well now I have to check out part 3 to see what happens to Journee and Alexis...

Good read...not the best but not bad. My issues with this book were the same as in the first installment. There needs to be more depth. It doesn’t need to state “My best bae Nikki” every other time Nikki’s name is mentioned. We get it, they’re best friends! Some of the characters behaviors are just too unrealistic even for a fictional story. People are shooting people and fighting in front of kids. They’re getting shot in the face with AKs and still live. They’re getting shot in the chest and all this is going on in a suburban neighborhood with nary a police siren to be heard. Is this fiction or fantasy? That being said the storyline is great and it did keep me interested. I believe that this author would be a beast in the paranormal genre because of how well she writes unrealistic actions of her characters. I’m willing to bet she’d also be good as some sort of consultant to upcoming authors to help with their storylines. I’d be very interested in seeing a book from this author with werewolves, werebears, heck even fairies, angels, or Gods. I’m going to challenge myself to read the next installment because I just have to see how this all turns out.

Nikki, Nikki, Nikki....you never cease to amaze me this book was everything...I waited and waited and waited and oh boy was it worth the wait...You did your thing, them ladies is something serious, they're not playing about people running up on them and coming to their home...That damn Giselle is bat crazy as a bag of nickels...Tyra just as dumb as Giselle for following her and letting her hype her up...them but Whoopins they both got should make them have several seats until about the 5th book LOL...love Valerie & Simone they ruthless with no filter...Glad Skeet and Nikki still A-1...yoooo Alexis is my girl she bout it...KD & Smoke handling there's...If Journee & Juelz don't stop playing with me...I'm glad everything is out in the open now...can't let the cat out the bag cop the book to find out what really went down...can't wait to see what part 3 bring...I'm not worried because I know you bringing the drama and it's definitely going to be MESSY. 👍👍👍😍😍😍💃💃💃💃

Great read
This book was so good. It was a great continuation to the first book. Juelz get on my nerves he refuses to let Journee move on he just tries to trap her. It’s alright for him to date other people but when she tries he always mess it it. Kairo will not get enough until someone kills him. Khadijah, Nikki, and Alexis are the type of friends you need the are Journee’s ride or die crew. Can’t wait to read part 3!

Better part 2
I just know Kiaro is the one that got Journee. He just needs to give it up already. I will say Juelz and Journee play all they're life BUT I do understand that Journee doesn't want to get her heart hurt again. I wonder what Juelz is going to do with Mia and his situation. I think Alonzo is not about to play about Alexis, and I'm here for it. Free is about to get it.

This book was everything I love the relationship juelz and jueleeze has it's too cute she loves her daddy and Mrs Simone is something else that damn kairo is crazy and need to let shit go. That damn free salty as hell Alexis hurt his poor Lil feelings wit the daddy pics. I can't wait to see what happens next and that ending Nikki Nicole u wrong for that but I loved it

😤😡 Ohhhh, I’m madddd! How could the book end like this?! I need to know Journee okay! Alexis gotta be okay too! 😩 I wasn’t ready for all the drama that unfolded and poor Jueleez. I don’t know what to say, but I’m scared for the outcome of this! I just hope everyone is okay... Kairo and Free are the scum between my toes! 😂🖕🏾 Author Nikki... I need part 3 tomorrow!

A true love story.
I don't dislike anything about this book, if you're looking for a love story, drama from the beginning til the end I recommend journee & juelz. The author did a phenomenal job telling everybody story, I can't wait the next book is release I'm dying to know who get the happily ever after, and whose gonna be pushing daisies.
I don't dislike anything about this book, if you're looking for a love story, drama from the beginning til the end I recommend journee & juelz. The author did a phenomenal job telling everybody story, I can't wait the next book is release I'm dying to know who get the happily ever after, and whose gonna be pushing daisies.

Although it took journee to express her feels ng I'm glad she did. I figured kairo wasn't who he claim to be he should have know she would drop him like a hot potato journee got some real people in her corner. Who will move mountains for her. Alexis and Nikki are some savages. I can't wait for it 3

Just like with book 1, I gave this one 3 stars due to the errors and lack of editing. Where did the chick Mia come from? One minute he had just met her and the next they are together. This book is poorly written. Great storyline but the execution fails.
