Found this book in a pile of old books at the Street. I picked it up because I don't think I've read enough Thai books and a light comedy book sounds interesting. Surprisingly, there wasn't any sexist, homophobic, transphobic or problematic joke in the book. And I found myself having a great time reading it, even laughed out loud at some parts in the book. The author's sense of humour clicks with me for some reasons. Most of the time, the joke is subtle, hiding the absurdity underneath what seems like a perfectly normal sentences. The calm voice of the narrator also helps make the whole thing funnier.
It's only 66 pages, so you can finish this in one sitting for sure. I wish there was more though. I'll probably look for the book before this one (รำลึกชาติ(นี้)). All in all, this was a good find and I'm glad I picked this book up.
