I give this book only 3 stars because it presents a few ideas in too many pages, with a lack of examples and too much general information. It has a list of activities at the end of the book, but they are not structures by age. I expected to find a guide from where I can understand what activities I can introduce to my child, but I found only general ideas. The general ideas are valuable, but I think they could have been summarized in an article.

Este o carte foarte generala si sintetica, ma asteptam sa fie putin mai detaliata. Dar este un fel de brosura de 170 de pagini, cu multe fotografii si informatii sintetizate legate de pedagogia Montessori.

Am apreciat ariile in care a intrat cartea: de la somnul bebelusului, la alaptare, joc sau integrarea sau in comunitate. Raman cu urmatoarele idei: copilul are nevoie de ordine pentru a se dezvolta (un mediu incarcat nu il va ajuta, il va agita inutil), in acest sens oferind o stimulare echilibrata; "sa consideram concentrarea copilului ca pe ceva sacru; sa observam copilul si sa-l urmarim, respectandu-i initiativele; sa vorbim, sa punem in practica ideile; sa il lasam sa se miste si sa favorizam coordonarea; sa il implicam pe cel mic, sa cooperam cu el; sa avem incredere si sa ii transmitem incredere; sa-i transmitem liniste si bucurie."

I'm pretty close of seeing my new family member and reading this book really helped making some light into things.

I find it quite useful, especially since my way of thinking is similar, of course as any book about kids, I can't say I'll be remembering everything or that I'll do everything by the book for sure that is not my purpose nor do I believe anyone could apply the theory in practice exactly as every kid is different and for sure one gets overwhelmed by the situation.

This book I consider it a great guide once a new baby or the first baby comes in the family. It underlines a lot the importance of keeping everything as close to reality and as simple as possible in order not to overwhelm the kid and to properly prepare him for real life. This Montessori method is actually the real life itself applied according to the needs and capability of each stage of kids.

The most important things are to observe, analyse, unconditional love and to be present for your kids. Probably it's going to be more consuming than anyone can expect it, but I'm sure that each new parent will find the strength when needed.

For sure, this is a book that needs to be re-read from time to time according to the stages of the kid, but it will definitely help.

Principiile de bază sunt bune, însă parcurse destul de generic și fără referințe științifice. De asemenea în mai mult de 100 ani de metodă Montessori există suficiente studii legate de alăptare, înțărcare și somnul bebelușului astfel încât să putem adresa niște semne de întrebare și contradicții.

Cea mai valoroasă idee cu care am rămas e sfințenia concentrării.
“Acest punct sensibil în care noi atingem ceva utopic, acest loc situat nicăieri, loc care nu există, dar ne descoperă pe noi nouă înşine şi ne oferă posibilitatea de a fi.”

O alta este reiterarea a ceea ce am mai întâlnit în nenumărate forme în mindfulness, yoga, psihologie, religie: să observăm şi să reflectăm.
Cu deschidere şi curiozitate, cu calm şi flexibilitate.
Aici şi acum. O stare continuă de prezență.

Şi mai e ceva ce mi-a dat de gândit. Copilul are nevoie de fantezie abia atunci când e bine ancorat în realitate.
Eu fiind o iubitoare de poveşti şi magie, pentru a însoți copilul, trebuie să revin la ordinea în care şi eu am descoperit lumea: întâi predictibilitate, pragmatism şi ordine, abia apoi intrând în imaginar.

Globalement intéressant et une bonne base pour découvrir la pédagogie Montessori mais j'aurais aimé y trouver plus d'idées pratiques d'activités, et que les exemples donnés soient insérés au fur et à mesure plutôt que mis sous forme de liste à la fin de l'ouvrage (sans être catégorisés par tranche d'âge ou périodes sensibles par exemple). J'ai aussi été gênée par les points de vue très personnels de l'autrice sur des sujets comme le sommeil qui n'avaient à mon sens pas grand chose à faire ici et qui n'étaient basés sur rien de scientifique.

Super, ce livre m’a permis de découvrir les bases de la pédagogie Montessori et d’une éducation bienveillante favorisant l’autonomie de l’enfant. Regorge de bonnes pratiques et conseils judicieux. Il représente ma vision de « l’idéal ». Il reste assez théorique et dense en informations donc j’avais hâte de le terminer mais je suis contente d’avoir appris sur le sujet. Pas mal de choses ont fait écho au livre « L’enfant » de Maria Montessori que je lis en parallèle. Je recommande

Bardzo praktyczna książka, z bezpośrednimi wskazówkami dot. wprowadzania edukacji Montessori w domu. Nieco zbyt dużo cytatów z Marii Montessori czyni z niej wyrocznię, co jest odrobinę przesadzone; poza tym tekst nieźle zorganizowany, choć miejscami trącający wypełniaczami. Ogólnie warto na początek.

Lo explica todo por encima sin profundizar, incluye citas de María Montessori de tres conferencias de la misma que puedes leer tu mismo y llegar a la misma conclusión sin tener que leer este libro. Nada recomendado si lo que quieres es entender de qué va realmente está pedagogía

Une bonne introduction à la pédagogie Montessori, plutôt complet sur les aspects de la petite enfance et l'accompagnement de l'adulte. On sent l'histoire personnelle de la personne qui a des enfants, et certains de ses choix de vie imprègnent parfois l'ouvrage (point de vue sur le cododo notamment).

Une bonne introduction théorique aux principes de la méthodes Montessori, facile de lecture, clair et accessible. On peut le lire d'un trait, même si certaines parties se prêtent plutôt à une lecture "au besoin", surtout dans le dernier chapitre sur l'organisation de la maison. Vous y trouverez également des idées d'activités (mais en très synthétique) et des références pour aller plus loin.

L.auteur n’arrive pas à montrer de façon concise et claire la méthode Montessori. On a droit aussi à autres méthodes. Pourquoi pas mais à condition que l’approche Montessori sois bien expliquée.

Are idei bune, unele chiar le-am notat.
Dar în general… dpmdv mi se pare greu de aplicat tot ce scrie în carte. Sunt de acord să lăsăm copilul să exploreze și să învețe să se descurce singur, dar cu siguranță nu o să îmi fac găuri noi în fiecare an doar să îi fac copilului cuier să ajungă să își pună singur haina. Asta un exemplu:))

Αποκτήσαμε πρόσφατα με τον συζυγό μου το μωράκι μας, τώρα που γράφω αυτή την κριτική είναι 14 μηνών, και πριν έρθει στον κόσμο αναζητούσα ένα βιβλίο με πρακτικές συμβουλές αναφορικά με την ανατροφή του νεογνού, αλλά κυρίως παιδαγωγικές πληροφορίες, που να έχουν ώς κύριο άξονα το ίδιο το παιδί σε όλες του τις εκφάνσεις.
Το συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο αλλά και η μέθοδος Μοντεσσόρι ανταποκρίνεται ακριβώς σ'αυτό, στις ανάγκες του νεογνού, ύστερα νηπίου εκπαιδεύοντας τους γόνεις ώστε να ανταποκριθούν με ευθύνη και ενσυναίσθηση στο νέο, και κατά τη γνώμη μου, το σπουδαίοτερο ρόλο, αυτόν της ανατροφής ενός νέου ανθρώπου. Με σαφήνεια, παραδείγματα και καθαρό λόγο η συγγραφέας προσφέρει όλη την απαραίτητη πληροφορία δίχως να κουράζει και χωρίς περιστροφές.
Το χάρισα ήδη σε φιλικό μου ζευγάρι που μόλις έγιναν γονείς και ήδη έχω βρει και ξεκινήσει να διαβάζω τα έργα της ίδιας της Μαρίας Μοντεσσόρι.
Θεωρώ οτί το συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο είναι ιδανικό για νέους γονεις που επιθυμούν κατανοήσουν και να ανταποκριθούν στον νέο τους ρόλο αλλά κυρίως κατανοήσουν τον νέο άνθρωπο που θα υποδεχτούν στις ζωές τους.

I am a big fan of Montessori education, I found my parenting values integrated in the method, so therefore I very much liked this book. It is also an easy book to read considering how it is written. So therefore I provided it 4 stars. One thing to mention is the fact that I would like to see more thoughts around parents and mother emotional balance, the method is child oriented. And it helps the child, but can be applied with great results when parents have part of support. Because if it is only the parents alone (sometimes even one parent), to have the time, energy and patience to implement all, seems like a magical fairy tail, not a realistic scenario. But taking guidance from it and implement as much as possible, I would call it a golden ticket for raising independent, proud, healthy emotional children, which will become amazing beautiful adults.
