Sophie Ranald is the youngest of five sisters. She was born in Zimbabwe and lived in South Africa until an acute case of itchy feet brought her to London in her mid-20s.

As an editor for a customer publishing agency, Sophie developed her fiction-writing skills describing holidays to places she’d never visited. In 2011, she decided to disregard all the good advice given to aspiring novelists and attempt to write full-time. After one false start, It Would Be Wrong to Steal My Sister’s Boyfriend (Wouldn’t It?) seemed to write itself.

Sophie also writes for magazines and online about food, fashion and running. She lives in south-east London with her amazing partner Hopi and Purrs, their adorable little cat.

Romcoms just suck you in

Funny how romcoms can just suck you in isn’t it? Not the best literary piece of work but not the worst. I did find myself bored at times by the typical way these stories go.. She didn’t want to tell him how she really felt or she was to afraid to be honest so she almost ruined both of their lives. It’s so messed up that this seems to be the standard for these storylines. It is so annoying at times and really a waste. I guess there would not be anything to write about if the leading person wasn’t a liar or a chicken. Lol sorry I just trudged through three of these stories and I am a little punchy. If you like romantic comedies where they always end up together you’ll like these.

Deliciously fun reads!

I really enjoyed this box set. The characters were warm and engaging and I literally could not turn the pages quickly enough. I especially enjoyed the story line (and research into ballet dancing) in the last book.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series. I can relate and I’m sure others can to some of the characters. I laughed and cried at parts. Great stuff.
