Some interesting recipes despite an overreliance on maple syrup. Manages to provide a good look at Vermont's farm to table network at the time of publishing.

Illustrations and photographs of prepared recipes were in short supply. Also, I was often referred to purchase a local product or specialty instead of making it myself. Marketing products occasionally is fine, but not to the point where there is little to a recipe beyond purchasing something.

The scratch bread section at the end was well done.

Worth it for the multi-page bread section by Red Hen Bakery of Waitsfield. It really upped my bread game.
