Magical artifacts have been whispered about for eons. Kept hidden from humans, lest they experience the power and lust for more, they are rare and precious.

One such artifact leads Charlotte on a new hunt. Fresh discoveries are made, and with the threat of a magical war looming, Charlotte redoubles her efforts to master her power.
With the council against her, and her family and new friends willing to fight alongside her, Charlotte must do all she can to protect humanity. Fae, druid, and human must work together to prevent the destruction of the world as we know it.

Of one thing she is certain, there are always casualties in war.

Omg wow ! The action and suspense just keep flowing in this third book in the Riftkeepers series. So many powerful emotions are brought to play throughout the entire book that keep you reading. I can not wait to see what is in store for book four!

I’ve really enjoyed Carrie WhitetHorne’s Riftkeepers Books but Reckoning (book 3) is easily the most powerful yet. Frankly I don’t even know what to write about it as I don’t want to spoil anything. I guess I will say two things. First, the publisher’s blurb is perfectly accurate here but hints at things I didn’t even realize till I hit them and, second, things keep happening in this book until the very last page. No cliffhanger but wow what a way to end it (for now).

Highly recommended.

Addictive

This might be book #3 but I got here in 2 days. Great, easy read! As the winter arrives I tend to hunker down and read with a hot cup of something, and this series has been it! Thanks Carrie!
