Outrageously good series! When this newest one came out I went back and reread them all - what a treat! I love Jora - a female lead who is strong and real and determined and even when she isn't smart, she makes up for it in tenacity. I was sad that it is the end of the series, yet relieved too, especially about Ibsa. I love epic fantasy and strong women characters and magic and every book fit the bill perfectly. thank you KC May - just keep writing honey because you are an amazing storyteller
What can I say. I’m so glad that I could read this series in one lovely binge. I would have been so frustrated otherwise. I had to know what happens. If I had one criticism it would be that it’s ended, I would like to have seen Jora learn more from Sundancer. I have now added K C May to my list of favourite authors.
Good conclusion to the series. I felt like this book lost a little of the momentum compared to the others in the series. I have to say the main character, Jora, changed or "grew" a lot throughout the series. I can't see the "old" Jora we read about in the first book making gloves like the "new" Jora.
A great conclusion to a wonderful series with all the right ingredients of a fabulous tale. Done with skill and thoughtfulness. Great job K C. I look forward to more adventures of Jora and her friends.
This is the last book in another enthralling series by K.C. May. Jora’s character journey with all its ups and downs is extremely satisfying until the end. I highly recommend this and the Kinshield series to anyone who loves fantasy.
I loved the story and the characters. I could have done without the graphic torture. I had to skim through some of it because it made me sick. The ending was well done and positive.
