A mistletoe. A kiss. This just might be the start of a beautiful Christmas.

Theresa might not make the best pot of coffee in town, but people still flock to the diner for a cup, even Officer Crowl, who rarely displays a smile since his fiancé died. She’ll never be able to win his heart, but it’s hard to resist him, especially when he kisses her under the mistletoe. Well, on the cheek, but that has to count for something…right?

Staying busy keeps Officer Aiden Crowl sane. Because when he’s idle or alone, he thinks, and nothing good comes from that. Everyone thinks he was the perfect man. They think he’s broken because she’s gone. He is, just not for the reason they believe. Every time he walks into the diner, one sweet smile from Theresa erases some of the pain. He should stay away from her. Far away. But what is he supposed to do when they’re standing under a mistletoe? Kiss her, of course.

Can you imagine having people bet on how bad your coffee will be? Sure, it has become the town joke, and people even buy Theresa’s coffee often just to see if it can get worse, but no one gets her attention like Officer Crowl, should rhyme with Growl, the sober-faced man who has secretly stolen her heart. It isn’t the coffee that has him so dour, it is the death of his fiancé and Theresa would do anything to be the one who puts a smile back on the handsome officer’s face, guess he would have to actually notice her first…little did she know, Officer Crowl did notice her and her cheerful smile every day. Too bad he doesn’t deserve that smile, not since the night his fiancé died. So why did he kiss Theresa’s cheek under the mistletoe? Can she get a repeat?

Theresa’s life isn’t easy, she has her own problems, one of them being her brother, his illness and addiction and his violent mood swings. It was her brother that, in some twisted quirk of Fate, brought Officer Crowl to her door and into her life, kind of, but it will take more than a call to 911 to rescue these two souls from loneliness and the past.

Amanda Siegrist’s MISTLETOE MAGIC isn’t quite as fluffy as those simply sweet Holiday Romances, but it IS one magical tale of the power of love, self-forgiveness and taking a chance on living and loving again, warts, insecurities and all. Ms. Siegrist has built some humor, heartache, and real emotional longing into a story of the miracles of the season and what happens when one opens up just a little to let another soul in, because everyone deserves love, no matter how bad your coffee is or how hard you try to keep your wall up. Face it, love will find a way and if you ever doubted the magic of mistletoe….this story will change your mind!

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is a very appropriate title, but I won’t spoil the surprise for you. It may be predictable but there are some special moments that put a smile on my face and a happy ever after in their future.

Theresa works at the diner and is known for making the worst cup of coffee, but Officer Aiden Crowl comes every day for his cuppa. The precinct even has a bet on whether or not she will every make a good pot. She has always had a crush on him, going back to high school, and, with the death of his fiancee, will she have a second chance at love?

She comes from the wrong side of town and her alcoholic brother never lets her forget it with his drunken escapades, pounding on her door in the middle of the night demanding money, even going so far as to break into her house.

Theresa loves everything about Christmas, but this one is proving difficult for her. I can see where her self doubt and lack of confidence comes from, but I am looking forward to her overcoming her insecurities and becoming the wonderful character I know she can be.

HUH. I’m at 79% and I should have seen that coming.

I love small town romances and when tragedy strikes, the whole town comes together, showing their love and support.

Want a heartwarming smile on your face while reading a happy ever after Christmas novel? I found it here.

Sexy opposites attract Christmas read with a bit of angst that will leave you with a warmth in your heart

Mistletoe Magic is a sexy opposites attract romance between a brooding cop and a barista who can’t make a decent coffee with secret feelings. Despite being slightly angsty and suspenseful, this is a cute Christmas read that will leave you with a warmth in your heart.

Theresa and Aidan, who tell the book through dual perspective, have a simmering chemistry that is nicely built up after a little help from mistletoe finally encourages things to change. Both characters face their own trials and tribulations but each have strengths in different ways and together also find an extra strength to face demons of their pasts. There is a wonderfully warm mix of secondary characters that made the book an enjoyable, fast paced read; the fast pace works given the fact the two have known each other since younger.

I would definitely recommend this sweet and sexy Christmas romance.

A sweet and heartwarming story! I loved Theresa, and loved her positive attitude. No matter how little she had, or how long she has pined for Aiden l, she always had a positive attitude. Aiden, however, didn't have much of a positive attitude. Every since his fiance died, he has felt guilt, and he felt that he didn't deserve to be happy. He did look forward to seeing Theresa every day and drinking her horrible coffee. One mistletoe kiss has Aiden thinking more and more about Theresa. Will Aiden be able to let Theresa into his heart, or will the guilt from his fiance continue to come between them and his chance at happiness again? I have read all the other books in this stand alone series, but now I can't wait for Snowflakes and Shots.

Mistletoe Magic - 3.5 stars

This is one of those books that I sat with before reviewing. I really wanted to like it because its got a hot cop in a small town and it's Christmas. Those three things are winners in my book.

While the characters were quickly developed and we learned their quirks early on, it took FOREVER for them to get their act together and figure out how to navigate the path of least resistance when pursing a relationship.

She is a waitress who makes horrible coffee yet everyone still buys it. He is a cop who works a gazillion hours a week and has no social life. Together, they make a super cute couple but the angst and guilt each of them feel is a little overwhelming and detracted from the story for me.

As always, I appreciate the time and effort that an author puts into writing... It's something I could never do. This author is articulate and allows the story to flow at a good pace and the descriptive writing allowed me to visualize the settings.

This story just didn't hold enough magic for me.

4.5 Stars for Mistletoe Magic ( Holiday Romance Novel #2)
Christmas is my favourite time of year and I’m always looking for a holiday romance to while away the hours and Theresa and Aiden certainly lit up my holiday season.
Aiden is struggling to come to terms with life since losing his fiancé, he is feeling guilty and he believes he doesn’t deserve happiness. What he does enjoy is seeing Theresa everyday even if the coffee she serves is awful. Christmas is approaching and everywhere is decorated so could one Mistletoe Kiss bring some magic into Aiden’s life…..
Theresa works at the local dinner, she has no time for dating but she looks forward to Aiden’s visits because she has crushed in him since they met in school. Can Theresa convince Aiden to make some time for himself and hopefully find happiness.
If you love holiday romances you will want to put this magical read on your TBR list, it has wonderful characters, it’s sweet and heartwarming and it will fill you with Christmas cheer. This boom is part of a series but it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone.

4 Star review of Mistletoe Magic (Holiday Romance #2) by Amanda Siegrist
Another good addition to the Holiday Romance series. This was an emotional read that got to me on a number of levels. The writing was strong and I quickly became invested in Theresa and Aiden’s story.
Still reeling from the death of his fiancee Aiden is struggling. He doesn’t believe that he deserves happiness and the guilt as he begins to notice Theresa which makes it even harder for him.
Theresa was such a strong character and a woman I really admired. She had had feelings for Aiden for years but has not acted on them. Can one kiss be the start of a blossoming romance?
I really liked this couple and was cheering for them to get the happily ever after that they both, particularly Aiden, deserved. This is a heart warming story that had me smiling as Theresa and Aiden get the Christmas miracle that they both deserve.

So there were several moments I wanted to smack Aiden for being an ass. But he totally redeemed himself. And quickly. I totally understood why he blamed himself for things that happened in the past, being the stand up guy he is and all. But we can't control everything in life, something I have trouble with myself. Hence why I understood Aiden, but again I still wanted to shake him. And Theresa amazed me. She works her tail off, even if her coffee sucks big time, she still gives 110% with everything. She had to deal with an alcoholic brother who can't stay out of trouble. And she pines for the one man who won't give her the time of day, Aiden. But miracles do happen and mistletoe has a lot to do with it. I just loved how the story was paced and it made me believe that love can happen when you feel like it will never touch you.

I fell in love with this series after just the first book, and I have to say that after giving this book a read, I am just completely hooked. I have no idea how Amanda Siegrist does it, but she knows just how to write the perfect sweet cozy holiday story and I loved every word.
I have a feel that no matter what happens I’m going to keep loving each book that in this series as there’s just a certain charm that pulls you in, plus it was incredible getting to see how the characters have developed and how their lives are now that it’s a year later but set from different points of view.
There was just one thing I would of love to have seen though, it would have been pretty interesting to see how Theresa handled everything in terms of Aiden’s past, I know that we see small glimpses, but still you can’t help but wonder how their talk went down and how she felt about everything. Other than that, I think everything was handled extremely well and I love how with each book I read of Amanda’s I can see that her writing is growing amazingly. I am excited for the rest of the series because so far I’ve loved the first two books and whilst it hasn’t exactly been easy on the characters, it’s still been worth the read.
I’d recommend giving this a read as if you’re the type of person that loves Christmas stories, then this will help put you in the mood.

Theresa has had a huge crush on Aiden forever, but she knew he didn’t feel the same as he was torn up over his dead fiancé. But still that never let her get down, all she wanted to do was try and spread some cheer about everyone. Yet whilst she did her best, the one person who she couldn’t help was her brother, even though she would do what she could to help him in a heartbeat, the one thing she couldn’t was giving him money as she didn’t want to see him turn into their dad fully.
Aiden didn’t feel worthy of being happy or even finding love again because what everyone didn’t realise is that he was keeping a huge secret. Everyone thought that he was so depressed and hurt over losing his fiancé, but honestly that couldn’t be further from the truth. When he gets a call about Theresa’s brother causing her problems again, he can’t help but wonder why she won’t just let him serve a jail sentence as he never learns. But still, he can’t help but draw closer to her, even though he doesn’t think he should ever try to be happy again.
Knowing the she makes the worst coffee ever, is there another reason for why he turns up to get a cup every day???
Will Theresa show him that he is worthy of love and being happy??
What happens when his secret comes to life???

Mistletoe Magic (A Holiday Romance Novel Book 2) by Amanda Siegrist is a sweet Christmas romance story that will warm your heart. This is my first book by this author and I can't wait to see what else she will have for us. This story will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions from laughter to maybe a few tears. It also has some twists and turns that you won't see coming. This story will show you that opposites can be attracted to each other and prove the old saying correct. This is the story of Theresa and Aiden. These two live in a small town where everyone knows everyone's business. Theresa works at the local diner and seems to be happy with her life. Her problem is making coffee, she can't make a good cup if her life depended on it. Aiden works for the local police station. He had a tragic situation happen about a year ago and he can't seem to move past it. He is rarely happy nor smiles. She has a huge crush on him but what they don't realize is that one kiss under the mistletoe will change everything for them. They can't seem to stay away from each other whether it is running into each other or just spending time together. What will happen when they decide to give their relationship a try? Is he just to broken to move forward or will he forgive himself and let Theresa into his heart? I loved these two characters. I wasn't quite sure what to think of Aiden until later in the story when you realize just how broken this man is. Theresa is always the happy person but yet has some insecurities that may stop her from having a future. These two are attracted to each other from the very beginning. They have such hot chemistry that it was hard not to wish that they would just have the happy ending that they deserve, you will have to read this book to find out. The secondary characters are just as lovable and I hope we get to see a couple of them get their own story next. All of them together will show what Christmas spirit is. I highly recommend this book, it is fast reading and easy flowing. I know you will want to see what happens with these two, will fate allow them to have a future or will Aiden just stay in his broken world?

Mistletoe Magic is the second book in A Holiday Romance Series by Amanda Siegrist. This is a contemporary holiday romance that incorporates a small-town romance, a police romance and has a bit of a friends to lover’s aspect to the story. It is a standalone, and is a quick read.
Theresa is the waitress in the local diner and has a reputation for making the worst coffee ever. But this doesn’t stop people from buying it, as they often make bets on just how bad it will be, or whether it could it get any worse- her coffee certainly gets people talking and is a bit of a running joke around town. But she is a hard worker, spending a lot of her time at work and having no time for a social life. She hasn’t had an easy life, and has issues she has to deal with- like her brother and all his problems. But every day when a certain police officer drops by for his cup of coffee, her day gets a little brighter. She secretly adores him, but she thinks his past hurt and loss would prevent him from feeling the same for her.
Aiden is a police officer at the local station. He lost his fiancée and hasn’t been able to move forward since, and is still harbouring a lot of unresolved feelings about her death. He’s become a little distant and aloof as a result. He doesn’t let on, but Theresa’s smile and cheerfulness are the highlight of his day. But he doesn’t feel worthy of her, or of anyone for that matter.
But will a kiss under the mistletoe change everything?
I found this to be quite a cute story, but I felt frustrated that the whole angsty situation was quite drawn out, a lot longer than seemed necessary. But overall was a good read.

Thank you, Ms. Siegrist!

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is book two in A Holiday Romance Novel series. This light hearted romance novel was simply addicting, I read it in once sitting. The two main characters, Theresa and Officer Aiden Crowl have quite an interesting relationship. Theresa is a waitress in the local diner and has the hardest time making a good pot of coffee. Regardless of how bad Theresa’s coffee is, Aiden visits before every shift just to get some. Unfortunately, Aiden is not the most sociable person, especially since his fiance died. Theresa would love to see him smile just once, as it seems like such a rare occurrence since the loss of his fiance. Theresa has a huge crush on Aiden, but is afraid he will never be able to move past the love he had for his fiance.

As Aiden and Theresa become closer, there is a day that he surprises her by kissing her under the mistletoe at the diner. Theresa hopes that this means Aiden likes her, but maybe it was all just coincidence. Aiden is afraid to open up because he feels that everyone that gets close to him ends up getting hurt one way or another. He does not want Theresa to be the next person that is hurt because of him.

Over the holiday season the readers see a wonderfully magical relationship build between Theresa and Aiden. There are conflicts that arise, besides the inner conflicts Aiden deals with on a daily basis. As I was reading, I hoped that the miracle of Christmas could help heal some of Aiden’s pain so that they could both be happy for once.

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is the second book in her Holiday Romance series. It was a very appropriate book to read while the holiday season is coming around and you feel there is something special in the air! You can easily read it as a standalone like I did, I guess it would have been great to have read the first book first as that would have set the scene and we’d know more about the other people that we came across in the story but I did at no point feel that I was missing something …
Mistletoe Magic is a sweet holiday romance but do not expect it to be all fluffy and silly boy-meets-a-girl type of story. It is a story of power of love, forgiving oneself, taking a chance on living and loving, insecurity … The main players in the story are Theresa Brennen (the waitress and jewellery maker) and Aiden Crowl (Officer Crowl). They have known each other since they were kids growing up in this small town where everyone knows your business or more … Though they have never run in the same circles it is undeniable that there is something brewing below the surface …
The writer tells the story from alternating point of views so it is great to hear both voices and learn their inner workings … Thank you for this lovely story that teaches us that we cannot control everything in life and that love is possible …

Mistletoe Magic (A Holiday Romance Novel Book 2) by Amanda Siegrist

5 Stars

Awwww this was such a great read, quick, smooth, and fun! The words flowed perfectly, the storyline was great and if I wasn't already filled with Christmas spirit, this would have done it. This is my first book by this author and won't be my last, I can't wait to read Merry Me, the first in this series with The Chief and Lynn because I fell in love with them in this book. Also hoping the next might be about Bentley and Daphne maybe?

I absolutely loved Theresa in this story, I hated how she thought of herself but loved how she was so loyal, even to those that didn't deserve her loyalty at times. I fell in love with Aiden immediately, I could tell there was so much sadness in him that brought out the cold exterior, how his situation was brought up and handled was what made me fall in love with the Chief. I loved the small town feel of this book, it is a dream of mine to move to a small town and I could imagine everything about it in this story.

This book has one of the best swoon worthy moments I've ever read, it actually brought tears to my eyes and I know I said out loud “oh my goodness that is soooo sweet”

This was just a great book all the way around, I love Christmas stories and this one will definitely be read again.

I Loved It!!!

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is the second book in her Holiday Romance series, and it was a great holiday read that really kept me wanting to know more from the beginning to the end. This book focuses on Theresa and Aiden who both live in a very small town where any business is everyone’s business, so having any sort of private life just doesn’t happen without allot of planning. Theresa has a bit of a problem, no only can she not make a cup of coffee to save her life, she has had the biggest crush on Aiden since as long as she can remember. When they both end up under a bit of mistletoe, the kiss they share will take their harmless flirtation to a whole new level. The chemistry between these two was enough to short circuit any electronic device near by, and how they were able to keep their hands off each other up until this book was a miracle. Mistletoe magic is the first book by Siegrist that I have read but I am so glad that I picked this one up because it was such a joy to read. If you are looking for an easy read that will keep you on the seat of your pants from the beginning to the end. I can’t wait to see where she takes this series, because I will be the first in line to buy anymore books from her in the future.

Mistletoe Magic is book two in the A Holiday Romance Novel series by Amanda Siegrist. It is a contemporary Christmas romance story, that is told in the dual perspective of our main characters, which I love. I have not read the first book but it didn’t make much difference as I read this book.

Theresa works at the local diner and is happy with her life except for the one thing she craves, the one she has always been on the outside looking in. She has always had dreams but would those dreams ever become a reality? Will she ever be able to have the life she would like?

Aiden cannot get over the guilt, a guilt that is eating him from the inside out, a guilt that sees him existing but not living. Everyday he sees a little bit of light, a little bit of sweetness, a little bit of happiness but he will not allow himself to go there. Will Aiden finally decide to forgive himself and and open up his heart? Could she be the one to make him live again?

This is a story that will get you in the christmas spirit and realise there are good people in the world and a little bit of christmas magic.

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is a wonderfully written book about letting guilt go and living life to the fullest. This is book two in her Holiday Romance series but can be read as a standalone without hindering the story, I read this one first but will definitely be going back for book one! This story is about Aiden & Theresa. Aiden's letting the past rule his present and future and Theresa is waiting and hoping one day he'll wake up from his fog. These two have a connection that comes alive in the pages of this amazing story. This author put great time to make this book more than just a run of the mill holiday romance, it's got romance sure but it's also got hard life lessons, a big of suspense and wonderfully written characters. Each character no matter if its main or supporting is well thought out and believable, it's like you jump inside the book and know all these people. This story is beyond what I was looking for in a holiday book. This book takes you on a bit of an emotional right and left me with a book hangover and a need to read more by this author. I'm giving it a five star review and greatly look forward to reading more from this author.

Book Review: Mistletoe Magic
Author: Amanda Siegrist
FIVE STARS
A very sweet and suspenseful book. This book has its twists and turns and will keep you rivited to your seat. Turning page by page quickly as you scour the pages and read the delicious words. You will feel sorry for Theresa but you will quickly find you shouldn't. She definately has a hold of life by the horns and she will bounce back from anything.
Officer Crowl on the other hand is a Scrooge. His frosty demeanor and attitude is something to set even the nicest of persons on edge. However Christmas time is not his favorite time of year.
This book is a contemporary romance and has a suspenseful nature to it. There is a Who-dun-it going on in this book. VERY good read and it definately kept me wanting more and more. Putting it down to go to work was near impossible but I kept my kindle handy for breaks and lunch.
This is the second book in the series. Merry Me is the first and you won't go wrong reading them both. They are both stand alone books so no worries about what order you read them in.

Mistletoe Magic is book 2 in A Holiday Romance by Amanda Siegrist. I did not know when I read it, that it was in a series. The book can be read as a standalone, but now I want to go read book 1. I really enjoyed this book The main characters were mostly likeable, Aiden annoyed me at time though, because he is kind of a jerk. His so back and forth and was really harsh and cold to Theresa, and sends mixed signals left and right. Even though he is rude, and confusing, she still is drawn to him. It seemed like she had a crush on him ever since high school, and envied his life. Theresa seems to have low self-esteem, full of self doubt, but at the same time is strong enough to stand up for herself. I like that they both had such a strong support system. Their friends and coworkers were great friends, and helped them in times of need. The small town feeling was strong in this book, and it made me want to live somewhere like they do.
This was a quick fun, cute Christmas-y story. I loved it, especially reading this time of year. I recommend it to others, and will read more by this author. I want to go read book 1 in the series.

a brilliant read about trying to move on. Officer Aiden Crawl is struggling with events after the loss of his fiancée. whilst doing so, he regularly visits Theresa's coffee shop diner for some coffee. As he becomes a regular customer, Theresa starts being friendly with him. Will Aiden move on to a new relationship or stick to the past?
A brilliant read. well developed plot. well developed characters, especially in the case of Aiden with his vulnerabilities and strengths to make him a more rounded character. I also loved the detail of the diner which was cosy and quaint. Aiden using coffee and other activities to distract him from his feelings was emotive. Theresa was friendly and sympathetic and kind which I loved. I also loved her passion for the diner and its coffee. The feel of Christmas and its miracles was sweet and added to the feel of miracles helping both characters recover from their pasts. The switch of first person narratives worked well to illustrate emotions and perspectives with easy transitions between chapters. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

Mistletoe Magic- Amanda Siegrist

4 star review

Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist is a fun read filled with so much Christmas Cheer! It made for the perfect read for this time of year! It’s full of all things Christmas: baking, décor, Christmas trees, family, friends and of course Love!

Theresa and Aiden are two very different characters who manage to fit so well together. Their interactions were often awkward and silly yet I couldn’t help but love them together. I adored Theresa, she was so positive and caring, always going above and beyond to help anyone. She was the exact opposite of Aiden as he could sometimes come off as rude and unapproachable. I had a love hate relationship with him, it took some time for him to grow on me but the more I read from his POV the more I liked and understood him. I loved reading their relationship progress from start to finish!

I found it really easy to get into as it was written so beautifully and the story flowed seamlessly. This is a book I would recommend to anyone looking for some extra Christmas spirit and love!

Mistletoe Magic (Holiday Romance Novel Book 2)
By Amanda Siegrist

Theresa works in a diner and possibly makes the worst coffee ever and, yet the customers keep coming back for more. Aiden is the hot policeman in town, and works a lot of hours which gives him absolutely no social life. Aiden and Theresa couldn’t be more different character wise, and yet they seem to fit together perfectly. Aiden has somewhat of an arrogant or unapproachable appeal to him but honestly this man is carrying so much guilt he would be read wrong by the wrong people. Then we have Theresa who shows care, compassion and is positive about life. Theresa knows that there more to Aiden than most people. Can Theresa be the on person that is able to break through Aiden’s closed off heart and start to break his barriers down? Can she also show him that its okay to love and life instead of existing?
Theresa and Aiden seem to bounce off each other and are a lovely couple. Mistletoe Magic is the first book I have read by Amanda and I must say I really enjoyed it and look forward to more of her work.

I loved Mistletoe Magic by Amanda Siegrist. This book is a Christmas romance. It takes a look at a small town waitress named Theresa and the local police officer Aiden.
Theresa works in the local cafe as a waitress she is not the best coffee maker but she is happy she has always felt that she has been on the outside looking in. Theresa loves what she does, she has had a major crush on Aiden since high school and she looks forward to him coming in every day for his coffee even if she is the worst coffee maker in town and he is always grumpy.
Aiden is still struggling with the death of his fiance, he has shut himself off from everything and has put all his time into working. Aiden feels he doesn't deserve to be happy. Aiden without fail goes and gets a coffee from Theresa every day. Aiden is finding it harder and harder to stay away there is a strong pull between them but he always shuts it down.
But will that all change with a chance kiss under the mistletoe. To find out you will have to go and read the book. Happy reading

A Holiday Romance Novel Book 2: Mistletoe Magic written by Amanda Siegrist. This is a nice, slow romantic, difficult, love story. Nothing with love is ever easy though is it. The story starts off kind of slow, Mistletoe Magic is the type of book you savor and enjoy over a day or two. Not the type you splurge and speed read to get to the end as fast as you can. The story’s point of view alternates between Officer Aiden Crowl and Theresa’s point of view as they are the two main characters. Their relationship in the beginning of the story is platonic, kind of standoffish. Officer Aiden Crowl comes into the dinner every day around 2 pm for a cup of theresa's coffee, it’s the worst he’s ever day, and every one else in town. But one good thing about small town life, the people stick together and support one another. I was intrigued to see where this story lead. It had the openings for many different potential endings. Overall if was a pretty good book and a nice relaxing read, even with the mixed signals, every day stress and straight up denial coming from both side.

Mistletoe Magic is the second book in the Holiday Romance Novel Series by Amanda Siegrist, it is a sweet romance about second chances, love and forgiveness. Everybody in town knows how horrible Theresa’s coffee is, but always go back for more. Theresa has not had the easiest of lives, and does not help her brother James is an alcoholic with a violent temper. Then you have Officer Aiden Crowl, who has been miserable for the past year. This was due to the death of his fiance. Theresa has always had feelings for Aiden but she felt like she was never good enough for him. Will one kiss under the Mistletoe spark the flames between Theresa and Aiden?

I really enjoyed this sweet holiday romance by Amanda Siegrist. All your emotions are covered in Mistletoe Magic, but is is definitely worth the emotional ride you are taken on. The story flows with ease, very descriptive. The characters are well developed and are very real. I cannot wait to read more from Amanda Siegrist.

Mistletoe Magic is a really great, sweet, wonderful christmas read. It is relatively short, I got through it in a night and, I wanted more. I really love Amanda Siegrist’s writing. She puts together a wonderful story full of very real people.
Ms. Siegrist has absolutely captured the spirit of Christmas. This story is full of forgiveness, redemption and love. It reiterates how important forgiveness is and how difficult it is to accomplish. Especially when the one you need to forgive is yourself.
Having said that, this story has one of the most romantic gestures in it I have ever seen. I want someone to do for me what Aiden did for Theresa at the end of the book. No, I won’t tell what it was, you’ll just have to read the book for yourself and see if you agree with me.
Ms. Siegrist has brought her “A” game to this book. It is a wonderful journey that two people take just in time for Christmas. I really loved it. It was just right.

Mistletoe Magic, is book 2 in the Holiday Romance Novels, by Amanda Siegrist. This book is full of cheer, love, and mistletoe mischief. I adore Ms. Siegrist’s build of characters in both Theresa and Aiden. Aiden is reeling from the loss of his fiance, but things are not what they seem. Theresa takes every day one day at a time. She adores Christmas, He is withdrawn and barley smiles, She needs his help one evening, he needs her help to rebuild what he believes is lost. This book had be laughing, cringing with embarrassment for them, and even rolling my eyes at some of the things that Aiden says. I adore the relationship these two build. Since this is book 2, we see some of the very loveable characters in from book 1, and they play a very important role in the relationship of our two main characters. This book is an easy, fun read and if you have snow coming, I would hunker down with a book like this!. I would happily give this a 3 out of 5 stars.

Mistletoe Magic is a beautiful holiday romance. Theresa is not a perfect woman. She has her flaws and a fairly hard life. She lives in a small town where everyone knows everything about everybody. She’s a waitress at the local diner and does what she can to get by. She also struggles with making a good cup of coffee.

Officer Aiden Crowl hasn’t been the same since tragedy occurred a year earlier. He can’t even bring himself to smile to make others happy. The reputation of the waitress who makes really bad coffee has him grabbing a cup in hopes that one day he’ll win a bet that says she’s finally done it.

Mistletoe Magic is my first Amanda Siegrist novel and is told in dual points of view. I really enjoyed the way she has brought these two broken people together and given them hope in the holiday spirit. Even with the struggles they faced it still made me think of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
