Tia: My life officially sucks. And that's before my embarrassing mishap gets splashed across prime time local TV news.
But being rescued by hot firefighter Logan Patterson is worth it, especially when I find out he wants me with a passion that makes my head spin and every part of me throb with need.
Even my ex’s betrayal can’t stop me from wanting Logan – but can I trust him to be more than a fling?
Logan: The chief doesn't like me dating his daughter, Tia. He'd like it even less if he knew the things I want to do to her.
But even if he approved, I’ve got a baby daughter who needs me and an ex who’s intent on destroying any chance at happiness.
Will Tia still want me when she learns the truth?
***Enjoy Christmas at the fire station, thwarted passion, and a whirlwind romance with a hot single daddy in this tale that will set your kindle on fire. No cheating and a happy ending guaranteed to make you smile.***
I liked the build up to the relationship but once they were together there was nothing but smex. I wasn’t convinced they loved each other let alone had a strong connection. I don’t mind a book heavy with smex scenes but I need a little more to their love story.
I enjoyed this book. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I liked the storyline for this book and the characters. I liked Tia and Logan. I liked the chemistry between them but I would have liked it to be a little stronger. I liked that Tia accepted Logan’s past and she was ok with him being a single father. I would have liked to have seen more of Alice in the story but that is just me being greedy – I adore little kids in books. The epilogue/so many months later of this book is cute! I really liked it. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
A fast paced steamy read about an older man who happens to be a firefighter, Logan, and the chief's daughter who happens to be way younger, Tia. Their first meeting is quite hilarious and when she ends up working at the station, Logan makes his move. But he has a past that isn't pleasant...will they make it work? Another great older man/younger woman steamy read by Mia Madison and the author sticks to the low drama & insta-love that I love from this author. Not only that it's fast paced with no misunderstandings that go on and on and on, it's taken care of promptly allowing me to go back and enjoy the two as a couple and smile from ear to ear with their HEA. *I voluntarily reveiwed an ARC of this book*
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Another wonderful hit by Ms Madison. This was a sexy quick read about Tia the daughter of the fire chief and Logan a new firefighter at the station. Tia and Logan met when she is caught in drain while trying to get the ring she dropped. She is returning it to her ex fiance who is asking for it back. There is definitely attraction on both parts. Tia is trying to get work experience and begins working at the fire station designing and updating there website. For some weeks the two just steal glances at each other. Logan believes she is spoken for. He has no idea at first that she was returning the ring. He also feels he may not be what she is looking for and he is quite a bit older. Tia and he are at the stations Christmas party and steal some alone time outside. The two realize that they are more than attracted to one another. Logan wants her to know that he has a daughter and that she is okay with all of it. They begin seeing each other and even though her father has is doubts about their relationship he knows he has to let Tia make her own dissensions. There is some drama with Logan's ex but it gets worked out. and the two begin to make a life with each other and Logan's daughter. A great book with just the right amount of sweetness and sexiness.
I’m going to keep it short. I really liked most of the characters in the book (except for Logan’s ex-wife).
Logan is a single dad to the cutest little girl Alice. He is also a hot firefighter who is 20 years older than Tia. Tia is only 21, and on top of everything she is his chief Frank’s daughter, who is not thrilled about the two of them getting together.
One thing that was different about this book and that I really liked is that even though Frank had his doubts about their relationship and had no trouble voicing them out, he never did anything to jeopardize it. He didn’t threaten either his daughter or Logan which is so unusual for this kind of age-gap books. Even when Tia was crying over something that had happened with Logan closer to the end of the book, her father Frank didn’t make a big deal about it. He allowed them to talk and figure things out, again he didn’t threaten Logan. He just told Tia:
“You should have seen the fights I had with your mother in the early days. I know you won’t take any crap. I brought you up better than that.”
A very well written story that has it all. Mia Madison did not disappoint me with this story and plot. It is an amazing read. I laughed a lot in the beginning and could see it all in my head. The chemistry is amazing between the main characters. I like the story and that Tias dad is protecting her. Cassie her friend is a great supporting character. The firefighter Logan is every kids dream. His is fantastic and thinks a lot about his daughter. Both have things to deal with Tia her ex and Logan his daughter. Logans sister is a great input from the side. I like her comments. A short and easy read but worth the time. I recommend it if you like to read romance stories with a cute twist.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
She's off limits. The Chief's daughter. He works at the fire department. Their first meeting he saves her from a storm drain. He's much older with a daughter of his own. As their relationship grows her dad adjusts to it. He just doesn't want his daughter hurt. Mia Madison is well known for her older man younger woman romances. She rocks out these books like no one else.
I am a total Mia Madison fan! Logan and Tia are so sweet and perfect. I loved how they met. It was unfortunate for Tia to have to be rescued by Logan when she dropped the engagement ring she was returning to her ex in the sewer drain. Funny yet sad. Losts of sweet, sexyness in this one.
She puts herself in an embarrassing position that everyone gets to see. She has feelings for the firefighter who rescues her. They have a few obstacles to go through. Her ex, his ex, her dad and then themselves. It is exciting, suspenseful, hot, and so much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I voluntarily read the arc copy of this book. This book was a quick but good read. Enjoyable and light without too much drama. Tia and Logan meet under odd circumstances.....while she is stuck in a drain pipe. Their chemistry is undeniable right from the start. Their relationship blossoms from there. Good job.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I liked the story it was a light cute book. I love firemen books, and I would’ve loved more story involving Logan and the other firemen. It lacked the depth to the story that the fire station brings. Tia and Logan ‘s relationship was steamy, I loved all the characters. If you like a short light romance this is for you. Grab your copy.
This was a sexy older man/younger woman romance. It was a short and fast book, but it was sexy and well rounded out. Tia's dad is Logan's boss, which adds a little extra twist to their romance. Logan's also a single dad with a troubled ex-wife, which also threw some wrenches into the story. Sweet and steamy all wrapped up in a quick read!
I struggled to finish this book. The characters are realistic but at the same time maybe they shouldn’t be because you end up bored asking yourself if it’s over yet. No shocking twists and no reason to keep turning the page but in the end a sweet love story that I won’t be reading again.
*** I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book*** Mia Madison writes some fun reads and I really enjoyed this one. From the way they meet, too how the relationship grows, Logan and Tia are interesting characters with great chemistry. Great read!!
This book was fantastic ... from the way they met to the way he proposed... they were meant to be together despite his baggage ... she loved his little girl , no the ex wife.. it was sexy , romantic and fantastic ....
Omg I absolutely love this book and was hooked from page one until the end of it. The storyline flowed and the characters were absolutely awesome and steamy sex scenes.
A delightful quickie: Another wonderful and steamy insta-love Older Man / Younger Woman read with a little drama. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
There's an age gap between Tia and firefighter Logan, but it's not the main, or only, issue...which is a good thing. An evenly-paced, solidly good, read.
I read this book as part of an arc program. This book is about Tia, a young woman who's fiancé cheated and demanded the ring back. On her way to return it, she dropped it down a storm drain. When Tia tried to get the ring, she got stuck. Luckily Logan and another fireman where close by and rescued her. It turns out Logan worked with Tia's father at the fire department. Logan was older than Tia and a single father of a toddler. Logan wanted to ask Tia out, but thought he had too much baggage for her to want to be with him. This was a good older man/ younger woman story. I really enjoyed it and the connection between Tia and Logan. I thought Tia was very mature with how she dealt woth everything. Another great one from Mia.
What would you do if you were stuck in a storm drain searching for a ring to return to your ex? That's right.... get stuck. Luckily Logan comes to save the day. Want to know more, I recommend you grab a copy today.
