Blade My life revolves around the Wild Kings MC. I don’t want any attatchments and I’ll never have an old lady. That was what I always believed anyway. My heart got stolen when I met a feisty red haired beauty that took my breath away and I can’t imagine living my life without her. And the surprise that she brings me. Keira I move on from one place to another. The longest I’ve ever stayed in one spot was when my sister from another mister was missing and I was raising her son. That’s how I met the man that stole my heart, captured my soul, and left me a surprise that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Can Keira escape a mistake? Will Blade realize what he truly wants before it’s too late? Can they overcome their past and move on together?
When Blade meets Keira everything changes for him, he never planned to take an ol lady. They can't deny the attraction between them and they act on it. The problem is that Blade doesn't seem to want more and when Keira finds out she is pregnant she leaves. Will Blade realize his mistake before it is too late?
This was good, a bit angsty and Blade is a bit mule headed at times but I enjoyed this story quite a bit.
This is one of those books where I am mystified by all the 4 and 5 star ratings. I totally DNF’d this at 13%, and happily did so. I admittedly had not read any other books in the series, but it shouldn’t matter - the book starts with the two MCs living apart, the heroine pregnant, and the hero firm in his belief that she should be his old lady, but it’s weird in that this book assumes you read the prior books and gives you no backstory whatsoever so it feels kind of like you are at the end of their story except you never had their story in the first place so you don’t care about these people. Plus, the two MCs have zero chemistry with one another, so I’m reading this book trying the decipher their situation, but also realizing why bother. And I was also beginning to realize I didn’t really like the main characters either when I came to the moment that I was like yeah, this book truly sucks, I’m not wasting my time anymore - (*potential spoiler alert ahead*) earlier in the book the heroine had had an abusive ex-boyfriend who had hit her and punched in her pregnant stomach, sending her to the hospital, and later when he calls her up and says she better come back to him or he has information that will take down the hero’s club, she says ok. Never asks what that info is, by the way, oh no, nor does she ever call the hero. Just writes a letter to the hero explaining what’s she’s doing and why, and then plans to take her PREGNANT self off with her abusive a****** ex who once previously punched her in her PREGNANT stomach that sent her to the hospital in fear of losing the babies. I just can’t with this kind of stupidity!!! And that’s by 13%, leading me to believe the other 87% can only go downhill from there. DNF.
I'm giving this book a three cause while it was a really good book, lots of action & drama I felt like a disservice was done to a female character and then the Epilogue just clinched it for me and made me drop it from a 4 to a 3 :s What happened to Caydence was just f*cked up, if what Irish said is true then that wasn't the type of character she was, there's no way in hell the person we met in Skylar's book would've done that sh*t, there's no way. Makes me angry that, that happened to her character, I mean I knew something was gonna happen seeing as the next book is "Irish's Destiny" and the heroine is a different female character but to go the way she did I felt was wrong :s I'm not even gonna get started on Ma, that angered me too. Now for the Epilogue, I'm gonna have to put spoiler over it cause I don't wanna ruin what happens for anyone but I gotta get this out
Blade is a member of the Wild Kings MC. horrible childhood with an awful family growing up. He doesn't do serious and he doesn't want kids until Keira is gone. Then he only wants her.
Keira's best friend is Melody and that is how she became friends with the Wild King's MC. She wants Blade for as long as he is willing, but when she finds herself pregnant she leaves and goes to their friend's the Phantom Bastards area and they let her work as a bartender at their strip club and provide her a house.
She meets a guy, Jason, but he is not what he seems. He causes lots of problems for the MC's and Keira. She tries to get away from him, but can she do it and get back to the man she loves? Can she protect her babies?
Well Erin Osborne has knocked this book so far out of the park it is amazing! This book has devastating heartbreak that is unimaginable, it has abuse, but it has lots of love. The MC's show what family truly is! If you haven't read this, buy it today because you will love it!
Looks like that Blade and Kiera thought they would just have a good time with each other and neither were interested in getting married, that is until she turns up pregnant and Blade has to prove that he's in it for the long haul. Kiera went out with this Jason character a few times, but it seems that he wanted more and was being abusive and just a plain ole' jackass. Come to find out that he was working for a cartel and looking to sell her and other women and definitely using drugs. My biggest problem with some of these characters is that they just love to abuse women for no good reason and I love when some of them get what they deserve. Sadly before Jason got what he deserved, he and the cartel set explosives in several places at the Wild Kings MC clubhouse and several people died including Ma and also Irish's wife Cadence. Totally heartbreaking especially for Ma because she's been the glue to hold this club together and always there for the babies and the families, and I know Pops will miss her dearly and so will I. Happy reading.
My first Wild Kings MC book. Maybe it was a mistake to start with this one, because the author assumes you know who characters are & the relationship between them. The characters are likable enough but there was way too much repetition of phrases or thoughts I had to stop reading it because of a dumb plot issue. Apparently there were 3 clubs (or this could be a wrong assumption because of a confusing scene) and they're starting to protect 1 pregnant women from danger. They have her on lockdown in the club but still let her out to work in the clubs strop club as a bartender. Was there no one else to fill in? Would it not have made sense to to keep her within the club? Or possibly hide her at a safe house or the 3rd club? She's being blackmailed by an abusive asshole that none of the clubs can get info about? But he 'has enough dirt' I at least 1 club to 'take them down'? No. Blade wants Kiera to have a spa day. That's his priority. I couldn't take it anymore DNF
I don't recommend this to any hardcore MC fans .. because it just doesn't meet the standards!
First of all, the beginning of the book felt more like an end so that's what first threw me off
Second, there was so many structural errors in the story that made it difficult for me to get into the story
Plus, there was no chemistry between any of the characters!! Honestly? I'm surprised I even finished this book .. but oh well! I almost gave up on it a dozen times ... but by the end of the day my curiosity got the better of me, and I wanted to know if it would improve, but sadly it didn't
Also this is the worst excuse for an MC I even read about... I know all the male characters were supposed to be alpha and all but it missed the mark with me ...
Wow.. Erin Osborne will put you though the emotions with this story. Blade's Awakening is an intense story that will bring you to tears. Ik loved this little word Osborne created with Wild Kings. I highly recommend this story but I suggest reading it in order. Book one Skylar's Saviors starts off this amazing series. I believe you will be lost without following each book because each story starts were the last finished. I have to read a series in order so get your kindle fired up and pick Erin Osborne's Wild Kings MC series your next read..You will not be disappointed. Happy Reading!!
This was a great read! Blade and Kiera are an awesome couple, although at times I wished she had packed up and went straight to Blades clubhouse but understand that she needed to protect Blade when Jason threatened Blade and their unborn children. There was a scene where everybody came together due to losing a few of their own and it broke my heart where losing loves ones is never easy. But got their vengeance which I was very happy about. I really hope we either get Darcy and her men's book next or maybe Irish as he definitely deserves a HEA.
Blade and Kiera!!! OMG!!! Their story is one that is full of love, fighting to keep their love safe, their family safe, and it absolutely Amazing. You can't not read this book and not fall in love with all the characters, feel what they feel. I have laughed, cried, wanted to throw my Kindle, hug my kindle, cry some more, and I am now begging for the next book in the series!!! Wild Kings MC series is amazing. Each book just pulls you in more.
This one for myself was a little grittier and darker...which was awesome considering its an MC read. Was really saddened to see how some this one played out but understandable as the why but still cried. All of these characters are awesome and can't wait to see whom is next. This book offers sexy AF alpha male bikers, strong females, off the chart hot sex, angst and just a really good storyline.... So check it out!!! Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
Blade and Keira are just messing around with one another until .... Keira goes to work at the club where she meets Jason can we say major douche bag, will they be able to work out their differences and will the club be able to protect her when she really needs it. Thus one has a really said part I had to put it down for awhile as it was very upsetting but am looking forward to how everyone deals with it in the next book.
Keira was brought in by Melody, long time friends. She's had her own issues and her own troubles. Blade, has wanted her from the get go but the walls they need to come tumbling down. Slowly. Blade's just go with the flow mentality is great with Keira being the way she is. I love the 5th installment to the Wild Kings, the stories just keep growing and more characters are brought in making you want more and more.
Blade and Kiera’s story was an emotional roller coaster...it was very well thought out and had lots of twists and turns...there were a few inconsistencies throughout, but not enough to ruin the story for me...the story flow was good and had great character interaction...can’t wait for Irish’s story...hope it’s coming soon...
Wow it just gets better and better Blade didn't think he wanted a relationship or an old lady till Kiera walked out even if it was just fun.
Then all hell breaks lose oh my god sext hot sweet heartaching and sweet and family always family you really need to read this i couldn't put it down. 😆😚❤
I love Blade and Kiera's story. Babies, explosions, tragedy and triumph sum up this addition to the series. At times you want to reach in and wring someone's neck, other times you want to hold one close in comfort. This book has all the emotions needed for a fulfilling read. Great job Erin!
Loved the story and can't wait for the next one. You will always realize things after they are gone and these two find that fact. The twist and turns that all the characters experience in this book leaves me the need to re-read the whole series again.
I really like the Wild Kings MC...this book almost seemed forced in some places. Too many strings are left, which I get to a point so new stories can unfold; this just seems unfinished to me. That being said I will continue to read any new books that come out. I need to know what happens next.
It was a great read. It had me laughing out loud. It had great characters and a story line that will have you busting a gut at times. It has just the right mix of laughs, drama and action to keep you reading till the end.Well worth the read. Rated very good
I really liked Kiera and Blade together. I guess my one huge issue is.....
*Spoiler*
The bad person... sorry not naming names. I don’t understand why this tough MC dances to his tune. It made them seem, well not tough. But I did like the book.
Enjoyable read. A lot of characters to keep track of. Good storyline. It was the first book of the series I read and I felt the 'missing links'. I would need to read the first 4 books to catch up with all the information I seemed to miss.
What a totally amazing book!! I couldn't put it down until I was done! I just absolutely loved it and I can't wait to read the next book! A definite must read!! Happy Reading!!! :)
Loved the way this all played out. Erin does a great job blending members and other chapters and clubs together giving you a painted picture. It’s awesome. Can’t wait for more.
Lost is a personal thing and this book did a great job of showing that out of lost comes a small spot of hope and goodness. I would let everyone know this a great read I can a identify with cadence as my mother lost my youngest brother to SIDS!
Was suppose to be fun until it wasn’t now they are both lost without each other? Will they find their way back to each other before they are torn apart forever? Sit down and strap in for one helluva ride. Definitely recommend this book, series and author.
Totally in love with this book and the entire series! These guys are hot but they definitely have women who are great for them! I can't wait for the next one
