It takes a special kind of author to be able to write Contemporary romances, sweet romances and also paranormal romances let along paranormal with a side of suspense and Reina Torres does it and does it well! Then to write a heroine with a disability and not make them weak or a victim takes a sensitivity that few have. In Allegra, Ms Torres has wtitten a woman not born with this disability but is the result of a senseless act of domestic abuse. She has made her a strong woman, one that even after what she has been through is willing to face the world to make her dreams come true. Valerie is the perfect hero for Allegea. He sees beyond her blindness, he sees the strong women she has worked hard to overcome. He through he doesn't want her to put herself in harms he understands the works she had to do to be able to move past what Lance did to her. Another edge of the seat, nail bite Orsino Security Novel. Suspenseful, sexy, steamy it kept me turning the pages long after the light should have been out. If you are on the fence about paranormal pick up one of Reina Torres books in this series, you will be glad you did.

His Unbearable Touch is a sweet, entertaining and a well written story with certain surprising twists. Valero Orsino is an Italian bear shifter, who followed his brothers to the US where they have founded the Orsino Security company. Valero is a strong and very caring shifter, who has been searching for his mate for nearly a decade and then by coincidence / fate rescues her in the subway. Allegra is a cello player, who became blind because of a tragic event. Valero is certain from the beginning that Allegra is his mate, but she has difficulties trusting other people, so he has a hard time to convince her and at the same time trying to keep her safe. The closer the two become, the more it seems someone is out to get Allegra and destroy Valero’s plans, but why?
Reina Torres has done a great job in portraying the main characters but also the other characters involved so you feel you know them too. The plots and twists were well planned and the book was a very entertaining read. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I needed to find out, who was to blame for the trouble in paradise.

An incredible storyline full of passion and faith, with characters that grip you from beginning to end. The second Book in this series is just as Hot as the first! Author Reina Torres is an absolute dream of a writer. She has a way of dragging you into the story that you are on the edge of your seat anticipating what is about to happen next!

But when a threat from Allegra's past brings trouble for their future, will Valerio be able to protect Allegra or will they lose their shot at happy ever after?
Just like her other books, Ms. Torres again takes readers on an emotional but captivating journey in this second book of her Orsino Security series, which entertained me right from start due to the main characters back stories; everything they go through on their journey to happy ever after; and the way this story started that had me completely hooked as the hero comes to the heroine's rescue. Certainly, he's her knight in shining armor with what he saves her from.
As for the dialogue, it was a wonderful combination of intense moments and teasing banter between the hero and heroine as well as between the main and secondary characters that made this story a real page turner and had me charmed by the Orsino brothers just as much as Valerio and Allegra. Furthermore, the main characters were compelling; their chemistry and romance tantalizing and had me cheering for this couple's happy ever after; and I absolutely loved their back stories, especially that of the heroine with all that she's been through because of her ex. She's strong and brave in being able to continue on the way she has and doing the best to live life with her disability, even if it did take her a while to finally get back to the things she loved.
While the hero, he's confident, strong and I liked how protective he was of the heroine and his determination to win the heroine over. Then again, how could Allegra not immediately put her trust in a man that comes to her aid when no one else would? I also liked the tight bond he shares with his brothers and I liked that he was willing to stand up to his older brother Salvatore when it came to his mate and their relationship. Because he needed to win her complete trust and not push her into a relationship that she might not be ready for since he's a shifter and she's his mate.
Overall, Ms. Torres has penned a really good read in this book where the ending had me concerned for one of the main characters and worried how far the hero would go to keep Allegra safe. However, in saying that, Valerio definitely makes it safer for Allegra by the lengths he goes to, so she doesn't have to worry about her past being a threat anymore. Yet, what I liked most of all about the ending is how things worked out for Valerio and Allegra, as she's his mate and he will do anything to make sure she's happy forever and never alone again. I would recommend His Unbearable Touch by Reina Torres, if you enjoy paranormal romance or books by authors Milly Taiden, Eve Langlais, Celia Kyle and Eliza Gayle.

I fell in love with the Orsino brothers during the first book, Her UnBearable Protector, and if it’s possible, I fell even deeper under their spell while reading His Unbearable Touch. If you love strong, powerful Alpha men who don’t need to pound their chests to get their point across, then you’ll fall in love with these brothers as well.
Allegra and Valerio’s love story will take your breath away not only from the obvious devotion between them but in the intricate ways that Ms Torres incorporated Allegra’s blindness into every aspect of their lives through smell, touch, sensations. Allegra’s world was brought alive for us, and that added so much to this story, emotionally. You’ll pick up on bad vibes from several secondary characters. Some are simply thoughtless, yet there is someone more sinister involved. The story builds steadily both in intensity and in watching for danger to strike. I have to admit that it was deeply satisfying to see that one particular person get exactly what they deserved. I actually had wished for even more. I know, I can be rather bloodthirsty at times in defense of favorite characters.
I don’t want to spoil this captivating story for you so I’ll simply say this is a story that will touch your emotions and keep you gripping the edges of your reading chair. I was very glad to see Salvatore, Natalie and Uberto play important roles in Allegra and Valerio’s story – I tend to think of them as a unit now. I’d highly recommend this story and series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who enjoys a story that will hold your attention, engaging characters and a main couple that you’ll want to find their happy ending together. Completely enjoyed my time in this world once again, and soon the third story will be released. I can’t wait for Uberto’s story.

It is middle brother Valerio Orsino’s turn to find his mate in this powerful read by Reina Torres that does not shy away from the difficult topics such as physical and emotional abuse. There is so much strength and emotion in this book, it is amazing that it fit in a novella-sized read! But like fitting the pieces of a puzzle perfectly together, this author presents a finished work that contains as much darkness as light, for the tender love that develops between Valerio and Allegra is shadowed by the brutality and isolation Allegra felt after being beaten by her former boyfriend, leaving her blind. Told in the first person in alternating views of both Allegra and Valerio, it is Allegra’s “voice” that fascinated me. Although my eyes were fully functioning, focused on the words in print before me, I keenly felt the blindness, seeing Allegra’s world through the other 4 senses. Somehow, someway, Ms. Torres conveyed Allegra’s blindness so realistically!
Although I never described myself as consistent fan of “shifter” stories, I am hooked on the Orsino Brothers journey of living as bear shifters seeking their mates. If you love well-written stories with fully-developed characters and plots to become engrossed in, do not hesitate to dive into these books!

His UnBearable Touch was my first Bear Shifter Romance and I really enjoyed it.
Allegra Rossetti is a blind woman who is living in the shadow of an attack she suffered at the hands of her former boyfriend. This attack cost her her eyesight. She is a musician and is just now recovered enough to be able to play her cello again in a musical group. She is beginning to venture out into the world again. It is that desire that places her at the subway station with a co worker. When she becomes separated from his, she is rescued by Valerio Orsino. He is a bear shifter who has been searching for his mate. He has found his mate in Allegra. He welcomes her into his family and showers her with protection and warmth. For the first time, Allegra begins to trust again. She is not at all fearful of the bear that lives within Valerio. When the two are put into danger in a bear enclosure, Allegra is forced to reach inside and be brave when she calls Valerio hers. When Valerio marks her it is for life. But when Allegra's old boyfriend begins to pursue her, Valerio works to keep her safe but still allow her the space she needs to play her music.
There is so much to like about this book. I really liked the characters and how they welcomed Allegra into their family. Her character developed under the love and protection they gave her. I am eager to read book one in this series so that I can see how Valerio's brother found his mate. I voluntarily received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

With His Unbearable Touch, we follow Velerio Orsino as he rescues Allegra Rossetti from an attack in the subway, only to discover that she isn't just a rescue, but she is blind, and she happens to be his mate. I love how Ms Torres handled this entire story from beginning to end. We learn how Allegra lost her sight, that she is a wonderful musician and that she has gone through unimaginable lengths to gain and maintain her independence. When Velerio enters her life, each of them find their attraction impossible to deny. But it isn't just the attraction to his mate that make Velerio such a worthwhile character. It's that he realizes how independent Allegra is and knows just what to do when it comes to assisting her through her routines. Of course, there is nothing simple about this relationship. Danger lurks around the corner, and we learn the lengths he is willing to go in order to save and protect his mate.
I never realized how enjoyable it would be to read a bear shifter romance until I began reading this author's works. Everything she writes is so easy to get pulled into, and I want so much to learn more about the characters and follow them on their journeys. The characters are colorful and larger than life, and the stories always hit home and make them easy to read. And, they always leave me wishing the story didn't have to end. I'm excited to see what she brings us next.

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Orsino Security series and ends in an HEA. Valerio finds his mate in Allegra. Allegra is a blind cellist. Her backstory is particularly heartbreaking. She loses her parents and then an abusive relationship causes her to lose her sight. The love and kindness she receives from Valerio and also Salvatore and Natalie are like a healing balm to all of the unpleasantness in Allegra’s life.
>Of course there is a threat to Allegra that sends Valerio into his Alpha mode. It is interesting that Allegra uses her sense of smell to realize that Valerio is not totally human. The presence of shifters is not a known fact in the reality this book is set in. The descriptions of Allegra’s day to day dealing with blindness are interesting. Items in her home need to be in the same place in order for her to maneuver. Getting in and out of cars is hard without the proper comments informing her where the seating, door handle, etc is.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. This book has romance and suspense in a shifter atmosphere. The romance for the youngest brother is also set up.

This is Book 2 in the Orsino Security Series. This is the first book that I’ve read by this author but it’s not going to be the last one. What a great book. Allegra has been blind for a decade when she decides she has lived long enough without her music. She’s an accomplished cello player and is playing with the Gotham Chamber Orchestra. The story starts out with the Artistic Director taking her to the Brooklyn Bridge subway station because she’s always wanted to venture into the subway. Things happen and suddenly she’s rescued Valerio. She feels safe with him and he realizes that she’s his mate. Emotions run fast and hot throughout the story. There’s adventure, excitement and so much love that you won’t get bored. I really enjoyed how Valerio takes care of Allegra and lets her know how he feels about her. I thought it was a very well written story and it kept me reading just to find out what was going to happen. I will be going back and getting book 1 and can’t wait to read book 3 when it comes out. I think the author definitely has a hit series with the Orsino brothers. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author.

I enjoyed how she interjects suspense and intrigue through her antagonist. Through her use of descriptive language, Ms. Torres paints vibrant scenes. Allegra, the heroine, was written so that you felt her independence and bravery as well as her limitations and vulnerabilities that a blind person might encounter. Valerio is a sexy hot bear shifter hero who is understanding, protective, and supportive. He really shines as Allegra past comes back to cause more trouble. This is the second book of the Orsino Security series. Valerio is the middle brother. I love the interaction between the three brothers and the tightness of the family bond. They are devoted brothers and heroes who love and protect deeply. I’m eagerly waiting for the youngest brother bear story. Enjoyable!

Allegra wasn’t written as a simpering woman with a disability, but as strong woman who chooses to live life and display her abilities.
Valerio is one of the Orsini brothers and finds Allegra in a dangerous situation and chooses to come to her aid.
He is not a knight in shining armour by any stretch of the imagination. He’s strong, caring and supportive of Allegra. He doesn’t try to hide her from the world. Although, there were times where I could happily strangle him for being too ALPHA.
The storyline was interesting and engaging. There were twists and turns and something for everyone who like Romance and Shifters.

I don’t like fated mates romances, but I decided to give this book a try because the main female character’s blindness was intriguing.
I thought the book was OK because the progress of the romance was extremely quick. The main characters meet and fall in love all in the same day. I didn’t really sense a connection between the two in terms of friendship or getting to know one another. The progress of meeting the male’s family and moving in together was done way too quickly and was a little disconcerting.
The author does an extremely good job of having the reader imagine what it is like to be blind and the anxiety that comes with it. I did enjoy the tenacity and strength of the main female character.

His UnBearable Touch (my favorite of this series) is a fantastic paranormal romance by Reina Torres. Ms. Torres has given readers a well-written book loaded with outstanding characters. An attack left Allegra blind. After years she is braving the world to play her music. Valerio finds Allegra in the subway being accosted and rescues her. And finds his mate. Valerio and Allegra's story is touching and heartwarming with plenty of drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I loved every page of this book and look forward to my next Reina Torres book. His UnBearable Touch is book 2 of the Orsino Security Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

This is my first shifter story by Reina Torres and it definitely won't be my last. I was captivated from the first sentence. I loved how the story just flowed and went smoothly.
This is Valerio and Allegra's story, and it was full of mystery, action and LOVE. I was drawn in to the story of what happened to Allegra and who was doing it? All the while she was getting to know the (H) Valerio. There were times I was thinking why would you do that?? BAM!! Something happens... I'm yelling NOOO!!! Boom! Didn't see the ending coming!! It was an amazing read! Loved it, looking forward to the next book!

This book contains on-screen sex and some mild cursing (no f-bombs) so if those things will make you leave a bad review, you should skip this one.
I do not read shifter books in general, but Ms. Torres has a way with writing amazing character-driven stories that I just can't resist, and this one is no different. From the start, Valerio and Allegra have a connection that was undeniable. And although the story has a very serious thread running through it and there is drama, the main themes of the story are love, hope and devotion. The relationship between Allegra and Valerio was so wonderful, but the relationship between those two and Valerio's brothers and Natale was just as sweet. Those kinds of personal connections are what make any book by Ms. Torres a must-read for me.
If you enjoy a sweet and sexy shifter book with a ton of heart and personality, you should read this book.

This was my first bear shifter book by Ms. Torres, and it won't be my last! I enjoyed this book so much.The chemistry between Valerio and Allegra is amazing.I loved the relationship Val has with his brothers.This book was full of romance, suspense and love.
Val has been looking for his mate for a long time. He feels Allegra's fear and comes to her aid and knows he has found his mate. I loved his connection to his bear side and how Ms. Torres writes it so well the reader can feel the transformation. I laughed at some parts of the story, his brother Uberto is great and has a great sense of humor and look forward to his story next.

Another marvelous read!
The second book in the Orsino Security trilogy, as well as a Howls Romance, is another marvelous read by Reina Torres. Valerio and Allegra's story is heartbreaking, action packed, angst filled, and so beyond loving and passionate. The way these brothers articulate their feelings to their mates is just heartstoppingly (not sure that's even a word!), amazing. I can't even begin to express how wonderful and loving they are. 💗 Do yourself a favor and don't hesitate to read this series. You will not be disappointed. I eagerly, and quite impatiently, await the third book! Mature eyes only due to violence, and hot shifter loving🐻!!!!

Valerio is the second brother in this series. Allegra is smart and very brave young woman. She went through an unimaginable event with her former boyfriend. Valerio is the light in her darkness. Allegra has a beautiful heart. Valerio is her mate and very protective of Allegra. Valerio is not going to let anyone hurt her again. It was wonderful to see Salvatore , Natale and Uberto again. I love interaction between these three brothers. I am very excited for Uberto's story. This is wonderful series especially if you love totally devoted brothers and heroes.

I adored this story! I have not read book 1 of this series but I am going to 1-click that bad boy once I leave this review. This books has incredible chemistry and attraction between the main characters. I love that Allegra had overcome the horrible attack that left her blind and was living independently when she met Valerio. He was charming and gentle but sexy all the more. One thing I love about Reina's writing is that it is not full of unnecessary cussing and obscenity. This is an incredibly hot and sexy shifter romance with a wonderful story line. You won't regret choosing this novel.

His Unbearable Touch is a sweet, emotional entertaining read. Valero, a bear shifter, moved to America from Italy looking for his mate. From the moment he has Allegra in his arms he knows she's the one he's been looking for. These two have gone through so much to get their HEA. Can they trust each other to live happily ever after? Another great story by Reina Torres. This author really writes amazing stories that draw the reader in and make you feel as if you truly know the characters. I can't wait to read Uberto's story.

This is a story full of action, romance, and love with a happily ever after. Valario Orsino moves to NY because he is certain he will meet his mate there. He does but not immediately. He saves her from an attacker in the subway and the love story begins. Allegra was left blinded by an attack of an evil previous boyfriend and her music has helped her put that situation behind her. When Valario saves her, she is immediately drawn to him and is not afraid. This is a beautiful love story that draws you in from the beginning.
