I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book that I received for free from Shifted Sheets.
AK Alliss has provided a well written psychological thriller that brings you along for the ride. Drifting from character to character you follow along with Detective Abby Freegard as she pieces the puzzle together, with an interesting twist at the end. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
This is a fast paced highly interesting psychological thriller where you can't always see exactly what is around the bend. The changes of perspective, as well as past and present, keep you guessing. This is a very well written book and very much worth the time to read!
This was entertaining and fast-paced. Character development was a little shaky, but the overall story is worth a read. If you've got a free afternoon, this book is a good way to fill it.
I liked the story toward the end, by which I mean the last 1/4 of the book. I gave it three stars because I kept reading it. The plot from the beginning seemed intriguing but it just felt a bit odd from the start. Not sure if it was the writing style or the way the book was arranged. When the story switched focus it sometimes was difficult to realize that had happened. It finished will which is why I rated it the way I did.
