On a stormy night the lights go out for their usual Halloween Ghost stories. They told some sad, happy and scary stories. The boy returning for candy was a nice add.

MY REVIEW: I look forward to Terri Reid's 'Tales Around The Jack O'Lantern' short stories every year. They are always a fun little treat. Not only do we get to know the O'Reillys a little better, but they are always a good mixture of creepy and heartwarming stories. This year is no different. Reid's writing is charming, funny, and she never fails to write a dang good ghost story.
It's once again time to pull your chairs around the Jack O'Lantern and let the O'Reilly family delight you with both the chilling and heartwarming tales from the other side! Terri Reid's fourth edition of her Tales around the Jack O'Lantern is a fast paced read that you will want to savor and share while the chill of autumn surrounds you and the light from the Jack O'lantern flickers in the night!
I love these tales. I had read the first three books and had somehow managed to miss this one. So glad I saw the notice for book five and realized that I had two books to read. TREAT. These are wonderful little creations. Hopefully she can keep them going for many books to come.
Teri Reids' Mary O'Reilly books are always on my reading list. When I have read so many down and dirty murder mysteries and the like, it is always refreshing to a lighter read. It is just what I need to make sure that is a lighter side to the worlds troubles.
