Having read other books by K.H. Koehler, I knew this story would be well-paced and an exciting read from beginning to end. She doesn't disappoint! Koehler is a born storyteller and can easily transport you to the world she describes. The Sentry has a well-written female protagonist in Sarah Runningbear Snyder. I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. That's always a plus. And though The Sentry is its own unique story, I saw a few parallels with the Netflix series, Stranger Things. As a fan of the series, that was another big plus. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I look forward to reading more from this author.
