Omega in the Middle
Sold by his sire, Ben is an abused omega forced to sell his body for money. His rescuer comes in the unlikely form of a beta living among humans by choice, and who has no intention of exploiting Ben. Now the beta has brought him to the Rogue Pack for adoption. While Ben is happy to be safely tucked within a protective pack, it means facing his destiny as a breeding shifter.
Daniel loves the life he’s carved out in the human world. He doesn’t want to go back to living in a pack, but recognizes that he has to take care of the vulnerable omega he’s rescued. The plan is to find the mysterious Rogue Pack that he’s heard of, leave Ben in their capable hands, and return to his comfortable life. That was the plan, but something about the fetching Ben is causing him to drag his feet.
Carr is tired of living the life of a feral shifter. He followed his friends without hesitation into the wild, but now he has a chance to become part of a new pack. The arrival of a sweet and available omega gives him a reason for joining the Rogues for good. The only problem is the irritating beta who doesn’t seem inclined to give Carr a clear path to claiming Ben.

This is undoubtedly my least favorite book in the series. 😬 First of all, if you have been following my reviews for a while, you must know that I’m not a big fan of either poly or ménage. I suspected that this book must be either one of them once I saw the title but I didn’t want to skip the book in the series so I went in anyway. I’m definitely frustrated with Daniel character in this one. Why would he send Ben to the rogue pack in the first place if he wanted him for himself? 🙄 Even though he lives in the city, if he really wanna make it work, he could work out to build a life together with Ben. And although he knew himself that he wouldn’t be able to commit to the omega, he jumped in at the opportunity of serving the omega in heat. 😒 I have nothing bad to say about Ben character since he’s obviously vulnerable and confused about his feelings. And Carr is an ultimate chivalrous and caring guy. 😌 Although they did end up together in the end as a monogamous couple, I didn’t get a lot of them together. Instead, I got the unwanted trio with a meddlesome Daniel for two third of the book. And the sex scenes were mediocre for me. I genuinely think the storyline for this book is weak too although I did appreciate reading the battle scene. We have been seeing that coming since from the very first book and it’s nice to see that finally happened. 👏 I’m still very hopeful for this series though. 😊 There must be a one black sheep in a series and that’s usual. I have loved previous 4 books and I think I’ll like 6th one too although Daniel is being MC again in that one. Regardless, I’ll stick with the rogue pack and omegas until the very end. 😌

Best one yet.
I know some authors don't like having their books being considered "guilty pleasures" but I can honestly say that SC's works are turning into that for me. Yes, there are some deep themes of biology, societal constraints and destiny explored but for the most part I like how easy these are to read.

The weakest part of The Rogue Pack yet... :(
I'm not a big fan of 3somes, though I do read them from time to time. And some of them I even like ;)
But a love triangle between wolf shifters? In a "universe" where there is supposed to be a special bond between the lifetime mates? Sorry, but no, thank you! That's not what I'm looking for in an A/B/O trope... :(
And then that strange...
I still liked the sweet, abused omega, Ben. The sex scenes were still steamy and growl-y. And the Rogue Pack is still great! They take care of their kin and it's always so nice to visit all of them.
The battle scene was very exciting and I just felt as if I was fighting along our MCs...
I just wish the next book wasn't Daniel's... :(
Nevertheless, I'm going to dive in and hope it gets better from now on. The first 4 books of The Rogue Pack were soooo gooood! ;)

If this book hadn't made a huge shift (tee hee I made a pun) once Carr and Daniel started to act only in Ben's best interest instead of just being focused on their rivalry I thin I would have seriously hated it. Lucklily the author was brilliant in the way she wove Carr and Daniel into Team Ben and form that point on it was perfection. Even though made obvious long before the end whom Ben will choose it doesn't matter. The final battle between the Rogue's and Hadon's pack is exciting, nail-biting (if I did such a thing) and exhilarating. And the way it ended and it's aftermath was just beyond awesome. Every member of the Rogue Pack went above and beyond to save each other. The writing of this book was just as good as the previous ones, and the new characters just as interesting and worthy of love. I absolutely loved the epilogue/introduction to book 6 Daniel and Reed's story at the end of this one. It's obvious that Reed and Daniel are perfectly matched, though God knows it sounds like Redd is gonna be a handful. I really really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

I can't give my real thoughts without spoilers. So I'll just say this. I was ALMOST pissed off at the direction the book took towards the end...until I read the end, and now I'm happy and excited for the next one in series.

This was book 5 in
"The Rogue Pack"
series. Ben is an Omega who was sold by his sire to Kurt who used and abused him and forced him to sell his body. Daniel is a beta who enjoys living in the big city among humans. When he sees Ben being abused he steps in to help he knows that he can't keep him in the city so he sets out to find the Rogue pack. The Alpha of the pack lets Ben stay at first he doesn't know what to think the pack is different than the one he was born into everyone is nice including a Carr a gamma who has white hair and is all white in his wolf form. Carr was a feral wolf who left his pack with his friends when they found the Rogue pack he wants Ben for himself. Daniel realizes that he wants Ben and is having a hard time leaving him when Ben goes into heat it takes both of them to satisfy him. Carr and Daniel form a friendship and they both will do anything to keep Ben safe. Ben is not ready to take a mate and he knows that Daniel doesn't want to stay in the pack when trouble starts with another pack they have to fight to keep the weaker members of the pack safe. While fighting together Carr is hurt and needs a blood transfusion Daniel gives it to him. When Carr is hurt ben realizes that he is in love with him and wants to be his mate. This was a good read I liked how the Kyle the Alpha mate and a couple of the other omegas helped Carr and Daniel making the attackers chase them. Turns out Lorcan the Alpha killed the other Alpha who was Kyle's sire and by doing they gained more pack members. This book had some good sex scenes in it with the three of them. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Daniel has found Ben's little brother Reed who is a omega also.

Well - this did not end the way I thought it would and that is always a pleasant surprise when the story takes a twist you do not see coming. Now I have a good idea where this is going to go, but we will see. Another good story. The farther in we get , the more developed the world and characters are.

Omega Ben was sold by his father to Gamma Kurt who took him to live in the city and sold him out to make a living. Beta Daniel chose to leave his pack and live among the humans in the city. When he saves Ben from an abusive Gamma, Daniel's life is turned upside down. Daniel decides to take him to the Rogue Pack for sanctuary, but when he realizes he isn't the only dominant interested in Ben, his life turns confusing. Now it's up to Ben to choose which dominant he wants to care for him through his heat and possibly mate him... Carr or Daniel.
Because I didn't leave a written review along with my rating I couldn't figure out why I rated this book a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 as I had all the others I've read before it in this series. So I read it again and then I remembered why. For starters, I am not into more than 2 people in a relationship. So harems/reverse harems, group sex, multiple partners, etc are 99% of the time a total turn off. I also didn't care for the way Daniel and Carr fought over Ben like a piece of meat. And then Another reason was that I liked Daniel in the beginning, and then at some point he started to become more aloof and indifferent. He wasn't the same man he was in the beginning. I didn't really care for Carr. The way Ben kept talking about him made it seem like he was only interested because of his 'exotic looks.' Instead of because he really cared for him.
Overall the book was not written in such a way as to draw me into the characters like the first 4 books did. It was a bit disappointing. The only reason I finished this book was because each one is a continuation of the background story, and I didn’t want to miss out on any of that. Otherwise, I would've tossed it aside and moved on to the next book.

There was so much that I didn't care for in this book and series. I don't like the fact that they always call their mates 'boy' because it makes me think they see the other as a little boy. These are men so let's call them men please..
I also didn't care for the trio part in this book. I didn't like the Omega with Daniel, they just seemed like an odd pair and I really thought he fit better with Carr. I don't even think Daniel should have been included in this book.

This book is so good at start but disappointing in the middle and the end. I hope the author will rewrite this book and change the story. [Spoiler] It started as mmm but ended as mm.
The only reason i keep reading is because i want to know about Destin and Deidre, even only a glimpse of them.
I hope they will be rogue pack series with books about m/f story, since there are men and women in the pack, such as Destin and Deidre, i'd love to read more about destin and deidre.

Terrific M/M Shifter Series
Too often I have read series like this where there is one couple per book who get together and the books have become more and more alike as the series goes on. Not so with this series as I think that it’s getting better and better. This book was very different with three men intertwined. A great story.

Whew, I loved this one, but the ending was certainly unexpected, but not unwelcome. I’m really looking forward to the next one with Reed. Hopefyly after that one we’ll get Loki’s book (he’s spunky, which I love)

Daniel was showed no love at the end Ben turn on him after everything he's done for Ben. I understand Daniel had to leave but dam Ben stated he didn't love him, that not right.

Fits nicely in with the rest of the series and there is never a boring moment. Daniel, a modern day knight in shining armor, is for me the star of the book and a true sweetheart.

Oy. I think I'm going to have to agree that this one was a bit of a let down.

I went in full well knowing that Ben was going to end up with just one of the guys since I had read other reviews. So the whole time I was reading this I was thinking, "Ok, she's set this up really nicely to go either way. But if Daniel walked away now, it would be fine..." but he didn't. Initially, I really didn't like Daniel all that much. I didn't DISlike him... there was just nothing *magical* about him, other than having taken Ben in. When they got to the Rogue pack, Daniel seemed to stick around purely out of a sense of competition with Carr... not any particular true attachment to Ben imho. Even that was ...well... fine... but I AM glad that she didn't have him stay there with the pack in the end because that just didn't seem right for Daniel's character. I actually thought that Ben's whole heat scenario with both Carr and Daniel was very well written. I was convinced that (a) they both prioritized Ben; (b) they both were needed in that situation; (c) their relationship actually developed convincingly enough where they came to care a lot about each other. Even the menage was quite well done, including Daniel and Carr handling the unexpected intimacy really well. But EVEN THEN, after the heat kerfuffle, Daniel STILL could have walked away and had everyone say "ok, Ben is clearly more bonded to Carr and Daniel doesn't want to stay"... so I just don't understand why there continued to be intimacy between the 3 characters at that point. It felt like the author couldn't decide what she wanted to do at this point so she just ... didn't until the end. Also, I thought the Daniel-transfuses-Carr thing was dumb if they weren't going to be together. Anyway. Real missed opportunity here... or slightly strangely completed? Idk. I was tempted to leave a two star review because the beginning was quite good and had a lot of tension but ugh
You know what I don't need in my poly/threesome fiction? Monogamy endgame! I could go on for hours about how icky the turn from 'we all fucked' to 'you're my brother and I'm happy for you' was or how little sense it made for the Omega to choose who he chose but I'll save myself further frustration and just read something better and less mono/heteronormative.

Great book
I love the way this writer sets the plot but gets right to the romance. The first book I read was the first of this series and I have not put the books down yet. Please keep the stories coming.

Good read
I really liked the book but a little disappointed I thought it would end up the Main characters being in a triad relationship. The first few chapters were a little confusing as they introduced new characters. Once I carried on reading the book more I liked it

3.5 ☆ A weirdly set up one for sure, and I agree with some other reviewers about the connection between Ben and Carr feeling like it wasn't really there, but in context of binging the series, I liked it (not sure I would have as a standalone, though).

Even though I know that some didn't liked this book, it worked for me.. I understood why everything happened and that plot twist at the end, loved it!!!!!
