Greer

Everyone’s perception of an MC Princess is that she’s cherished and protected, but this MC “Princess” was left to the wolves. My father, the loved Southern Chaotic’s President, dropped me like a bad habit when I was thirteen. My mother went off her rocker when I was fourteen. I had my first of many abortions when I was fifteen. Life for me was a whirlwind of angst and torment, but through all of that the pain took the fear away and replaced it with yearning. I thirst for gratification that I’m not a replication of my legacy. I hunger for the day when my anxiety is replaced with reassurance.

Spook

I live my life for the Southern Chaotic’s. I have loved and lost to this club, but the brotherhood and acceptance have outlived the regret. I had a good woman or so I thought. She left me for a rival club. I long for what some of my brothers have. I yearn for a woman to desire all that is me and I crave to have a woman that I can depend on through thick, thin and the sh*t in between. I just need to find her so I can quench my thirst.

This is a standalone book, but to better understand some of the situations you should read Minor Glitches and Major Conflict. This book is meant for an audience 18 and older. There are some scenes that may not be suitable for some readers.

just read the first three books in this series back to back and loved them. great stories, great characters. a few issues with editing but that is tolerable. the books are super fast paced - lots happens in a relatively short story and though they could have been fleshed out a bit more the stories more than carry themselves as they stand.

The series is consistently exciting and a so easy to fall in love with the character. The story of Greer, the daughter of Southern Chaotic's president is both happy and sad! Living with her mother, Greer's life has been full of abuse. Unknown to Rudy, her father, this has been going on for years until Greer finally runs away, scared, pregnant and to another MC. When things get dangerous, the clubs work together, and prospect, Spook becomes her protector, and protect her he does. The chemistry is hot, the danger intense, and the story is wonderful! The bonus for me in this story is the interaction of Spook with the baby. I love it when these tough, alpha men melt with the hand of a child, it makes the story that much more realistic.

Matt Standley is a new to me narrator, and for this series, I think he does a good job. I like his southern accent, though at times I do find it difficult to differentiate the characters. He does have a good pace and his voice is pleasing to listen to.

I loved Greer and my heart broke for all the pain she’s gone through. Fifteen years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of her mother, stepfather, and numerous men has left her broken, damaged, and lost. Her strength of character and strong will emerges with the need to protect her infant daughter.

I liked the way the author ties in the MC lifestyle and back history with the introduction of Spook.

Greer’s atypical reaction to Spook breathes hope and life into this story by having the reader root for their relationship to heal Greer.

Lots of heavy trigger situations with child abuse and slavery/prostitution. This is a graphic and gritty story.

I was waiting to find out more about Greer. The president of the Southern Chaotic’s MC daughter. Immense Tension was a great book dealing with a lot of hurt, pain and trust. Greer has a hard life at the hands of her mother and stepfather. She has issues that she tries to control through sex and drinking. She decides to confront her father on his absence from her life. Spook is a member of the Southern Chaotic Mc. True and loyal to his brothers. He wants the love and comfort his brothers are experiencing. He had the once but she betrayed him. Two broken souls try to heal one another. A great and emotional read. Immense Tension has a great storyline, characters , and full of drama. Also touching and heartbreaking. I enjoyed reading this book.

The MC genre of book are so much fun to read. You have sexy hot bad boy bikers who always come across as such hard men but when they find their perfect partner they become soft hea armed with them but so protective as well. Greer has come to live with her dad after moving away from her dysfunctional mom. Her life as not been easy. Spook is looking for a good women and seeing her he thinks he has found the right women.can these two find happiness.

This is the second book I've read by this author. Before it, I read book two in the series. I liked it, but I think I liked this one more. It was an emotional read with dark themes of abuse, as well as coming out on the other side. Greer and Spook were characters I couldn't help but root for, both as a couple and individually. They were perfect for each other. I would recommend reading this series.

Greer has been through a living hell to say the very least. One that very few people would've survived. She'd all but given up until she received news and knew she had to fight for her life. That's when she called Brute, her Godfather, to have him come get her.
This was a rather dark tale of abuse, trauma, trust and love. So many emotions come into play during Dana Arden's latest book. This one was a page turner for sure. One that I'm thrilled to say has an HEA. What a great story

Talk about dark, heavy and full of emotional angst. Dand. My heart kept breaking for Greer. Just when you thought she could catch a break it was taken from her. But finding your family and the special one help. Children are amazing with how they are able to make you think outside yourself and pull people together. What a great series to read.

Very intense book with wonderful new and old characters from previous books in the series. You will find yourself laughing, crying, cringing and cheering as you read the escapades that the characters are put through by this author. You will soon realize that Greer is a very strong character who is deserving of your admiration given the scenarios that the author put her through. Luckily you do not have to live them only hear about them. Still, it is a hard book to read.

Great storyline

These are good books but would be great with more editing.. the plots are really engaging and the only thing that let's it down is the few typos or missing letters or slightly wrong word that pulls me out of the story, but it's not bad enough to make me stop reading them because the storyline and characters are really very well done.. so I'm going to carry on with the series because each book so far is better than the last...

Book 3 of the Southern Chaotic's series was certainly more raw and violent than the previous books. Greer's nightmarish life was heartbreaking, but she's learned how to cope and come out a stronger, tougher woman. I loved Spook and was happy to see him find a slice of happiness with his tough cookie. Great action with volatile emotions, with a side of kink. Awesome read!

This is the third book in the Southern Chaotic's MC Series. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect with the main characters, Greer and Spook, but the storyline was well written and interesting. This was my first listen to Matt Standley's voice. He has a good pace and his voice was easy to listen. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I can't believe that the Greer the daughter of an MC President was treated with such disrespect, abuse both physical, emotionally and sexually by her own mother and stepfather. All the hurt she went through for years helped cause her to have self destructive behavior. Good thing that the love of good friend and family helps her. I love this book and its a must read.

A story about family abuse. Well written with well described characters who develops nicely through the story. Captivating and engaging read.
Characters have a great chemistry. About two broken characters that maybe can help each other.
Standalone but you get better into the story by reading the others in the series.

Editor?

This book is in serious need of an editor. Almost every page has an error. The errors are very distracting, and some are so bad it’s impossible to even glean what the author meant to write.

First time reading this author, and burned through the series. LOVED the story and fell in love with all the characters. Typos and spelling did detract from the stories quite a bit, but I couldn’t bring myself to give less than 5 Stars. Can’t wait for the next book.

This is the third in the series. It is a standalone but if you read the first two you will understand it better. The story line and the characters were good. It keeps your interest. I received it as an arc and voluntarily reviewed it.

An emotional read of two people who have been broken, they gravitate toward each other. Being an MC there’s danger and drama. Another gritty book to add to this raw, rough series.

This is the third book in this series by this author. These books can be read as stand alone read, i read them out of order. This is a very intense read, you will find yourself laughing, crying through out. The characters have amazing chemistry between them. This is a page turner of a book, you won't want to put down. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
