I read the first season of this manhwa in 2019, and this year I managed to read season 2 and part of season 3 thanks to a very accurate machine translation and the help of a russian acquaintance.
The first 2 season were a 5 star for me, the premise of the story was pretty interesting: An illustrator who wants to succeed in the editorial industry who's living with his rich friend Harry, a 'House-like' excentric researcher that's hated by everyone. They both are struggling with the after-effects of a car accident, one has physical affectations while the other has neurological ones. Harry's nebulous intentions to help Felix become a better artist and cure his illness will strain the relationship in unexpected ways. However, in season 3 the story takes a turn I didn't quite understand, and considering the effort put into being able to read it i opted for handing it out to the russian acquaintance to read it and then come tell me what happens in the end lol. Not the wisest thing to do but i can't keep wasting the little free time i have haha.
Chongtak's art is as good as always, i like how signature korean the style is without the exagerated bodies, don't know if it's the same in her BLs.
Loplop is a beautiful manhwa, however the plot doesn't start until the last three chapters of the season. While the twist was spectacular, the writing was not enjoyable enough to keep reading season 2.
There is obviously a lot of hard work that went into the manhwa. I just wish the pacing was a little bit better, because the relationships between the characters seem interesting and the main character is lovely.
