I received a pdf of Scorch from author Melody Steiner. The story introduces the dragon human changeling and herd leader Alistair/Ador, and Elanor/Rat the human/possibly changeling girl he rescues and brings to the Dragon's island. Though Elanor believes he captured her for a slave. The pdf also included the first chapter of Slither in it. Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more of the series.
