18 year old Sofia has some serious crush on Mr Jacob Drake, her substitute teacher in high school. they managed to share a kiss, but that was all since their attraction could have destroyed everything. fast forward 10 years later, never did they expect to see each other again. this time, Sofia happened to be Jacob's new hire in his company. the spark was still there but would it be a wise choice to act on it?

A second chance romance is the stories I love to read, it’s a different kind of second chances. Jacob had a lot of patients when he was around Sophia that was 10 years ago. Now there older, when these two get together is very intense and oh so very hot!! A very enjoyable hot read 5 star read for me.

Daddy Dom is dirty, sexy, and just what I was in the mood for! From being her teacher to years later being her daddy, this has a taboo, fun element to it. But they are both adults now and exploring this new relationship. It was HOT!
Jacob is a great book boyfriend. He spoils her but is commanding, full of fun surprises. And he's confident. Sofia is not some weak little wallflower. She's successful on her own and sure of herself. They are a great match and I very much enjoyed their story.
This was the perfect book to get me through the weekend. I received an arc of this.

It was a good book with angst, drama, a bad guy, and lots of hot sex. If it didn't have that "D" word in it, that I have to skip over cause it grosses me out, it might have been four stars. Plus I felt the confrontation with the bad guy was rushed.

This has more going on than a hot and steamy BDSM relationship. There's some office politics, a hostile takeover, lies, and deceit that surround Jacob and Sofia. Their affair is taboo but can not be resisted. It is hot and intense and it can not be denied.
The characters are well developed and interesting. At first I did not care for Jacob. He seemed to put up some walls where Sofia is concerned even though he is attracted to her. I feel bad for Sofia for most of the book because she is being used first by Jacob and then by her boss, Karl. Karl is a self-centered opportunistic jerk. He makes you want to smack him across the face.
The plot of the story is intriguing and addicting. You want to know what happens with Jacob's company almost as much as you want to know what happens between Jacob and Sofia. I highly recommend.

3.5/5 - BDSM Light, and barely that... basically rough and consensual sex. Please authors stop saying BDSM because your hero ties your heroine up, spanks her or has anal sex. That’s not BDSM.
If you’ve read one BB Hamel “Daddy” book you’ve read them all. Look, all the “Daddy” books are the same. The trope changes.
Couple meets, they are forbidden bc of power position (usually boss/ employee — maybe throw in an age gap), they see each other anyhow. The hero cuts the heroine off without saying why. Secondary character is voice of reason. They overcome the “threat” of being found out. HEA!!!
I’ve read a couple and they read like the author “Frankenstein’s” her work. Whatever. If that’s how the author rolls, cool. These are free books for me but they are now boring.
Nothing wrong with the writing or storytelling they are just the same thing over and over. And the sex is meh at best.
Sexual elements: oral, penetrative, anal with fingers, toys, and dick. Light bondage. Spanking.

This was an amazing, well-written book that flowed effortlessly and had an intriguing storyline. The interaction between Sofia and Jacob brings the story alive as they continue on with the infatuation they once had years before. Formerly, student and teacher, they are now employer and employee and Sofia agrees to allow Jacob to push her boundaries. I enjoyed reading this book and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
While working as a substitute math teacher, Jacob built Quest Education. Created and founded ten years ago, it is now one of the largest online learning companies in the world, but Jacob sacrificed a lot to get where he is. Now 38, Jacob has never been married; he has no children or a social life to speak of and most of his time is spent at work. This company is his legacy. Karl is a hard worker, bright and creative, but he is also ruthless and emotionless; he only cares about results and success above all other things. He would tear apart absolutely anyone or anything to get what he wants and he wants Jacob’s job. Karl wants to take the company in a new direction; he has wanted that ever since Jacob hired him 8-years ago. With strong backing from the Board, he believes profit matters above all else, but Jacob has a different vision for the company, but it is not exactly popular. Sofia is a new recruit and hates starting new jobs; she isn’t even looking for something new, but the offer is just too good to pass up. While distracted, Sofia triggers an old memory about Mr. Drake; she hasn’t thought about him in a few years. Now 28, single, starting a new job, she is suddenly thinking about a man she doesn’t even know anymore. It’s ok, not a real daddy son book though
So, I first want to say I did actually kinda like this book. I finished it. However, the title is VERY misleading. This is not a daddy book. It’s not even a real dom book in my opinion. The H really didn’t ‘take care of’ the h.
Jacob apparently likes bdsm styles in the bedroom, not so sure he actually knows what he’s doing emotionally though.
Sofia found that she’s not really vanilla only, and Jacob’s style apparently worked for her.
I don’t like the feeling this book gives to bdsm though, it IS play and it can be fun and addicting, but and this is a big but, BDSM is more than mental mind games and toys. There is supposed to be a power exchange, but it is mutual. The thing about subs and doms is that while a dom is authoritative, the sub has the majority of power. The sub can call a halt to everything at any time. The sub has limits the dom is not allowed to cross, the sub willingly and freely gives power to the dom, which means that they can take it away. Also the sub is taken care of, not just physically but emotionally too. That didn’t happen here.
Jacob made all decisions from the beginning and never stopped, he also didn’t think (until the very end) of Sofia’s well being. He didn’t really protect her and he never comforted her. He never put her emotions above anything really. That’s not a good dom, not for an actual D/s relationship outside of play.
Also he was NOT a Daddy Dom. He didn’t want to take care of her, he didn’t give any rules (which most doms do anyway) he didn’t do anything daddy like except make her call him daddy. That’s not a daddy. That is a man who thinks being called daddy is hot, but doesn’t understand (or possibly doesn’t want) the responsibility of being a daddy.
Daddy’s take care of their girls, little, baby, or older. Doesn’t matter, even when the girl is ‘big’ daddies take care of them. They want/need them safe, healthy and happy. This ‘daddy’ didn’t think of any of that really so nope not a daddy. Jacob didn’t even contact Sofia regularly, no reassurance was EVER given. In fact from his POV he intentionally ignored her at times. If that was part of the daddy thing and the angst I would understand but it wasn’t. He just ignored her and she let it go and they continue on their way.
I wish it would have been presented more as what it was, a man wanted a teenager, didn’t do anything. They both thought of each other on and off for ten years, then meet and sparks fly. He has business problems she is drawn into. They begin a relationship. That’s that.

A classroom, a girl staying after class and flirting with the sub. A moment of lapse in judgement, a forbidden kiss, and then both walk away but always wondering.
Fast forward ten years, Jacob Drake is a founder of this company and coming to meet the newest recruits. He was given photos and information on all of them, just like usual. One beautiful woman's photo stops him in his tracks, then he sees the name, it is her. The one he things of all these years later. This time the rules are a bit different. In these ten years Sofie Wolf always thinks about this man, and no relationship she has ever had will meet the fantasy she has over it. She is now face to face with him again....oh my gosh....time stands still for both of them.
When Karl (her actual boss in the company) get wind of their little past, he makes Sofie's life hell. Jacob finds out about this and decides to take matters into his own hands, in more ways than one. Remembering the fire he felt ten years ago and he is already hooked. She can't deny her hidden feelings either. However, Sofie is about to learn something things about Jacob she never knew, and really want to know more about. He shows her his dark side and she willingly enjoys the ride.
They have a brief lapse in judgement in his office, which leads to a mysterious tape ending up in HR. A call notifies Jacob of this tape, and now he is sure that Karl is more than up to something, and now it is time to find out what and end it. Jacob and Sofie go together with a plan, it could be very damaging for both of them, mostly Sofie. When Jacob comes to realize how deeply he feels towards Sofie, he proceeds but takes her under his wing further with protecting her. All the while they are enjoying their relationship and all the new things he is teaching Sofie.
It is a hard battle, there are horrible things that could happen but they work together. When the plan goes into the final round, and the end of Karl in the company comes to be, it is a very delicate moment. Both realize they don't want what they have to end, and things get promised, words get said and all of the fun and "games" they share grow. There are a lot of small twists and things found out and dealt with throughout the book, and it all is worth the bumpy sizzling ride to their happy ending to the fullest.

Sofia had a crush on her substitute high school math teacher and did everything she could to get his attention including dressing sexy and staying after school. She thought she might be getting through to Mr. Drake but nothing happened until the day he kissed her. He was immediately filled with guilt and kept to a strict teacher/student relationship the rest of the time. Sofia loved the taste she had of Mr. Drake and dreamed of what might of happened.
Ten years have gone by, Jacob Drake is the CEO and founder of an educational online learning company. He's wealthy but troubled by company politics. The board wants to maximize profits without considering the students which goes against everything Jacob planned. His company has just hire a bunch of new workers and Jacob is surprised to see that Sofia is one of them. He had always been sorry he couldn't act on his feelings for her. The problem is that Sofia would be working directly for the man trying to steal his company. Jacob tried to get Sofia transferred to his office but that showed his rival how important Sofia was to him. As Sofia's boss he could make her life miserable.
Sofia was shocked but excited to find out that Mr, Drake was her CEO. She had never forgotten her sexy teacher and her dreams of what might have happened. Meeting him again was like a dream come true. It was the only good thing about her job since her boss was piling the work on her and verbally abusing her. Then Jacob offered her a deal. He would offer her his protection at work from her boss in return for her becoming his to do with what he willed. He would be her Daddy Dom and they would live out all their fantasies.
This is a good story with a lot of drama and twists. The love scenes were very hot with some Bdsm in it. I voluntarily received this book and this is my honest review.

His company has just hire a bunch of new workers and Jacob is surprised to see that Sofia is one of them. He had always been sorry he couldn't act on his feelings for her. The problem is that Sofia would be working directly for the man trying to steal his company. Jacob tried to get Sofia transferred to his office but that showed his rival how important Sofia was to him. As Sofia's boss he could make her life miserable.
Sofia was shocked but excited to find out that Mr, Drake was her CEO. She had never forgotten her sexy teacher and her dreams of what might have happened. Meeting him again was like a dream come true. It was the only good thing about her job since her boss was piling the work on her and verbally abusing her. Then Jacob offered her a deal. He would offer her his protection at work from her boss in return for her becoming his to do with what he willed. He would be her Daddy Dom and they would live out all their fantasies.
This is a good story with a lot of drama and twists. The love scenes were very hot with some Bdsm in it. I voluntarily received this book and this is my honest review.

In this book we meet Jacob Drake and Sofia Wolf. These two first meet while Sofia was still in high school while technically she is legal Jacob knows he can't give into his cravings without loosing his job. Years later however both have gone onto other things in their life. Jacob is now the owner of the company that Sofia has been hired to work at. He knows he is still attracted to her and wonders if she feels the same. However with others trying to take his company that he built from the ground up can he really afford to get involved with Sofia now or will he lose everything just like he would have back then to be with her?
Sofia would have done anything to be with Mr. Drake back then but she is glad he put the breaks on. She doesn't know what would have happened with them but she knows the guilt would have berried her if he had lost his job. Years later she takes a position with a company that offers her more money then she thought she would get only to find out the many she still is crushing on is the owner. Can she keep her feelings hidden long enough to establish herself in this business or will it look like the only way she is there is because of who she knows?
This book is amazing it will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are many twists and turns I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will be one of those books you send your kids out of the house, the husband too, lock the door turn off the ringer and read it till you see the end. What can I say about this story . It was fun, sexy. Had some suspense. One sexy boss and his employee and even better they knew each other from ten years ago.

Sophia away his student she did almost anything possible to get him back then. They were both attracted to each other. They did share a kiss back then, but that was it.
Have you ever ? You know it's forbidden, but that makes you want it even more.
Fast forward ten years later. Jacob has built a successful program and is doing really well. He runs a high profit company. Sophia is hired at that company and boy she is surprised when she realizes her boss is her former teacher and her crush. They both recognize each other and those old feeling come back.
They do have some obstacles they go through, but this book is also very sexy sort of like 50 shades of grey. So when you are reading this make sure you are alone . I loved both characters the dialogue between them was good and even better it was told in both of their POVs so we were able to see what they were both thinking. I highly recommend this book . I love a book that has me with all sorts of different feels throughout!

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Daddy Dom written by BB Hamel and voluntarily reviewed this book. Jacob Drake had walked away from Sophia Wolf ten years ago. Back then, he was a substitute math teacher, and she was his student. He knew after one erotic and taboo kiss with his student that he did not have the strength to continue spending time alone with her.
Now, he finds out that Sophia has been hired by his now-quite-successful online learning corporation, Quest Education, which he had founded with the help of a key investor. But now, his company is in trouble, with his board proposing taking the business into new directions which he doesn’t approve of. Keep my attention from the start, lots of twists and turns in each chapter, drama and also but loads of Daddy/ sub times with roads and toys.

His rival Kyle hires in new people and there is one that takes him down memory lane, Sofia, older, a real women but still forbidden. He can't date employees. But getting back in touch with Jacob will not be all sunshine and roses, she'll be dragged in the middle of a intercompany feud but her rewards will be all punishments and pleasure.

Four books inside one ...big kinky book... WOW. Who could ask for more? If you are into reading kink and like to read about daddy dom these were all very good reads. All four different and unique to themselves. BB Hamel oh my word you do know how to write some of the hottest "most dommely" if that is even a word printed out there. Jacob Drake and Sophia Drake sub teacher and student forbidden meet 10 years later as boss and employee. Oh yea.
But wait the book gets better when you get more Daddy Doms to read like Your Daddy Carson and Kylie's story which is based in Alaska. Carson finds Kylie who has run away from home. No not a teenager but 19 and abused by her father. She thought she would be able to sleep in a shelter but alias they are all full. He finds her without the proper clothing freezing in the Alaskan weather. Takes her home simply to make sure that she doesn't die. See Carson is much older like twice her age and never settled down...comes from money OIL Money. Life quickly gets complicated but in a good way some of it. This is just another of the good reads in this book. Come check them out! I received a copy of this book for my honest review. I enjoy the reads.

Bad example of kink
Daddy porn is not my typical kink, but BDSM can be entertaining. I thought I'd given this book a try to see If I was missing out on something. Let's look at the 'rules' here:
“If you want my protection, you’re going to call me Daddy. You’ll do as I say when I say it without question. You’ll be mine, and I’ll be your Daddy. I’ll always keep you safe, and you’ll always obey me.” He pauses, eyes locked on mine. “Do you understand? "
Well. This is problematic. There's a definite lack of respect, negotiation, and concern in most ways other than sexual release on behalf of the self-titled Daddy. Safe words change and are randomly given mid-scene. After care doesn't happen.
What starts as a student/teacher trope turns to boss/subordinate - Daddy seems a stretch, even in my deviant mind. Sexual harassment in the workplace is totally a thing here, and on the creepy level if you look at it objectively.
Objectively here notes that the sex scenes, while not negotiated properly and pulling from different links inexplicably, are still suitably seXXXy, Red Tube come (ha!) to life.

I am a huge fan of B.B. Hamel, and I think this is her best book to date. Sofia had been a student in Jacob Drake's class in high school. He was a young and hot substitute teacher who tried to resist Sofia's flirting after class until one day, he had to kiss her. Fast forward ten years, and Sofia has been recruited to work at Jacob's educational software company. The sparks reignite, and Sofia finds herself caught in corporate games, courtesy of Jacob. I love the way Jacob is so obsessed with Sofia that he almost risks his company for her, and how desperate Sofia is to get a second chance with a man whose simple kiss has been fantasy material for years. Jacob edges Sofia along with his sexual games before emerging as her Daddy Dom, and it is one hot journey! But there is a rat in Jacob's company-will they be able to neutralise the threat before they lose everything? A great read!

B.B. Hamel does it again with another great read about two people, Jacob and Sofia who started out as teacher and student where they only shared one passionate time and 10 years later she is hired by his company, now it's boss and employee. But she's not a student anymore but a grown woman and a fling shouldn't matter but she is his employee so it's still a bit taboo.
A great read with steamy scenes with some BDSM but also a great story where the two work together to try and save Jacob's company by bringing down a sleaze ball wanting to overthrow Jacob. I loved how the two stuck together and while doing so grew closer where there weren't any secrets coming between them, no exes or people trying to break them up as Jacob introduces her to his world. They finally find something and someone worth fighting for even if they lose everything they worked for.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed the story of Jacob and Sofia. Sofia was a student in Jacob's class and they flirted with each other and in a moment of weakness, Jacob kissed her. Ten years later, Jacob is a billionaire who runs a tech company that makes educational software and Sofia is hired at the company. When Jacob realizes Sofia is his former student and the fantasy he has had for the last 10 years, he wants her again. When he asks for her to be transferred to his department, he unknowingly puts her in the sights of the man who wants Jacob's job and Jacob gone from the company. Jacob tells Sofia he can protect her if she agrees to his rules and let him become her daddy. Sofia always wondered about Jacob and she wants to be with him now, so she agrees to his terms. This was a good book with plenty of heat. I loved how Jacob and Sofia work together and the chemistry between them. Great one!

I must say BB has out done herself with this amazing story. Sofia was a student of Jacob's ten years ago and their were sparks and an attraction that could have ended badly for each of them. Needless to say they keep to themselves but fate brought them back together. Jacob has built a very successful business and Sofia has become a very sought after research specialist. I enjoyed how each was successful and independent individuals but when they came together things were explosive. Their attraction took them on a journey and with all the ups and downs of life they were adults and dealt with them accordingly. They both have unanswered questions they need to come to terms with, can Jacob give Sophia they time she needs and will Sophia be able to accept Jacob's choice in the world of BDSM? I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntarily review.

Sofia and Drake met 10 yrs ago. Him her substitute teacher. Her his barely 18 year old student. She tempted him staying late, wearing sexy clothes. One stolen kiss. And now 10 years later they're thrown back together. Him her boss. Her his employee. It's forbidden for them to be together still. Even worse with the power struggle going on his company. He could lose everything. But it would be worth it for him to be her daddy Dom just one time. Will it be just one time or will it be forever? I really enjoyed reading Daddy Dom. Sofia was a strong heroine. Even when she was scared and uncertain she held her ground. Jacob was selfish at times but you could see he cared for Sofia. That he was trying even though he had so much going on. I always enjoy reading B.B's work. I definitely recommend.

Both Jacob and Sofia are believable and likable characters, and sparks really do fly between them.
The intrigue at the office added tension to both their relationship and the story arc.
What I particularly liked was that Jacob took things slowly with regards to the BDSM element of the story. Yes, there were steamy scenes, but Sofia was not thrust in at the deep end (as happens in so many books), rather Jacob teased out of her desires that she didn't know she had, which made the story even more compelling.

When Sofia had a massive crush on Mr Drake her high school substitute teacher, she never dreamt that 10 years later she would be excited to start a new job only to find out that Jacob is now an extremely wealthy man and the CEO of the company. When Sofia’s direct boss starts to give her a hard time at work, Jacob offers his protection, in exchange for her becoming his and living out their fantasies together. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed!
Once again this extremely talented author has brought to us an amazing storyline which is filled with drama, twists and turns and plenty of sexy times. As always I highly recommend this authors work for all readers. Brilliant work Bree!

There is Jacob who is gorgeous and smart. He now runs a top educational software company. Then there is Sofia, who goes to work at his company ten years after she had him as a substitute teacher at her high school She had the biggest crush on him and tempted him whenever possible. She was able to get one kiss out of him before he stopped. They both remember that kiss and wondered what would happen if it went further. This is not your typical teacher/student story. Will they be able to keep the lust in check now that Jacob is her boss? Will she help him? Can they get their HEA? You'll need to read the book to find out. I enjoyed it and hope you do as well.
