This book defines how mathematicians popularized imaginary numbers, which fixed all the math paradoxes and gave solutions to those problems which were deemed impossible for 4000 years. Read this book, and discover the problem and the solution.
I studied maths at university, worked in a bookshop for a while then switched to a medical career in Scotland for a number of years. Then I went back to college and studied computing. I'm currently a business analyst in the insurance industry. I live in Kent near the Channel Tunnel and I have three children. I have written and published two books, the first a children's science fiction book set on Mars and with a sub theme of chess running through it (age group 8 - 14) called "The Triple A's Check it Out". The second is not a children's book, it's about our origins, including the big bang, evolution, how the mind works and many other topics. It's called "Stardust: Our Cosmic Origins". I have a number of interests, including: Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Go, Bridge, Writing, Reading, Poetry, Clasical Music and Opera.
I couldn’t finish the kindle version of this book. The formatting is terrible. It’s hard to follow the text and especially hard to follow the equations. The author does a really good you tube presentation that covers all the subject matter in the book and does a great job.. I thought the book would expand on the video, but it didn’t.
(here after the 2 chapters were added) Honestly does an amazing job at introducing and explaining concepts that can often be difficult for the average college student. I can in all honesty say it gave me a much deeper and richer understanding of concepts I had known a bit about beforehand (especially the chapter on Euler’s formula).
For those who love and enjoy math, this book is amazing!
