The Billionaire And The Nanny

Rate this book
The one woman I’m not allowed to f*ck is living in my house, taking care of my baby… Ethan She’s already broken Rule #1: Must be ugly. This chick is f**king gorgeous with her flowing auburn hair and amazing young body. She’s ripe for the taking, so I can’t have her in my house. The other nannies they sent met Rule #1, but they were inept. Right away, I can tell Penelope is different. She's got those thick hips and long legs that would look perfect wrapped around me as I pound her hard up against the wall… I need to send her away. She’s too good for me, too pure. She deserves a gentle man, not someone as rough and scarred as I am. But I need someone to take care of Lilly, and Penelope’s the best one for the job. Soon she’s living right down the hall, parading around in her tight little outfits, with no idea how much she’s testing my self-discipline. I try to warn her, to tell her to keep her door locked at night, but it’s no use. Before long I’m sneaking into her room at night, stroking her, touching her, entering her, making her scream. For the first time, it’s not just about the physical for me. Seeing Penelope with the baby, I start to think that maybe I’m not as cold as I thought. That maybe I deserve a family. That maybe I could be the dad that Lilly deserves and the man that Penelope’s always hoped for… Penelope Ethan Townsend. Billionaire steel magnate, tabloid darling, and notorious womanizer. He stands over six-feet-four with dark hair and cool blue eyes. He wears sharp, precise, well-fitted suits, shiny shoes, and a stern expression that makes me squirm. The first time I meet him, his gaze lingers at my breasts, my face, even leaning to one side as if checking out my butt, undressing me in his mind. I don’t know what it is about him, but he makes me feel like I’ve done something wrong when I haven’t. I feel naughty in his presence, like he’s going to punish me for being insolent. But he’s my boss. So no matter how much our attraction pulses beneath the service, no matter how many times my hand drops between my legs while I fantasize about him, nothing could ever happen between us. I’m his nanny, brought here to take care of his baby and nothing else. Besides, Ethan is cold and distant, and he only dates models and socialites. Until the night I break his most stringent rule and leave my bedroom door unlocked… Soon we’re kissing and touching, his hands in my hair, his lips trailing over my skin as he enters me. But am I enough to break down his walls, to slay the demons that make him feel he’s incapable of love? Can I be the one to prove to him that he needs a family? I’m not sure, but I’m going to try. Even if it ends up breaking my heart… The Billionaire And The Nanny (Book One) is a standalone alpha billionaire single dad romance with a guaranteed HEA.

I loved this book!
Paisley was NOT a damsel in distress, she's smart mouth, sexy, dominant and has a strong willed mind.
Logan is a dad with twins, workaholic, sexy and has a crazy ex wife.

Paisley and Logan felt that pull from the very first interview, he knew she was the one that will weaken him and drop him to his knees (literally).

It's a cute romantic and a must read!

I am writing this review for this book I received through arc.

Ethan is a billionaire who was given guardianship of his sister's little girl Lilly Belle after her and her husband were killed. So far Ethan has gone through many nannies. Penelope was sent to him from the agency hoping to get this job. When she gets there he is trying to get rid of her at the door but Penelope was insistent then the baby starts to cry and it looked like Ethan was ignoring her. Penelope goes into the house without Ethan's permission but goes up and quiets the baby.

Ethan figures he will keep her until he puts Lilly Belle up for adoption. Penelope finds out when she overheard him talking to his mother in a rather loud voice. Meanwhile Ethan and Penelope start a little tryst and things are still exactly as before cold Ethan.

When Lilly Belle falls down a couple of steps Ethan freaks out since he forgot to close the baby gate. He takes Lilly Belle to the ER while Penelope tells him that kids have accidents. But, he tell Penelope. That he is definitely giving Lilly up for adoption. He then tells her that her services would no longer be necessary so after she hands over Lilly to the adoption agency the next day.

When Penelope gets up in the morning she gets dressed feeling horrible and has to say goodbye to Lilly Belle which she did as she handed her to Wilson who used to take care of Ethan when he was small. Lilly rushes home to her parents house because she had to get away the house, Ethan and Lilly Belle before she completely falls apart.

Will Ethan comes to his senses about Penelope and Lilly Belle or will he let them slip through his hands? Guess you will have to read the book. This book elicits many feelings as you become attached to the characters. Hot Sexy Read

Nanny loving to the rescue!

What sweet and sexy, fast-paced emotional beast this was!
I love the single dad/ thrust into fatherhood theme- when I read the blurb for this one, I was a little apprehensive thinking it was going would be similar to other books in the nanny-billionaire romance genre-but, I was glad I went ahead and read it anyway!

Ethan is a cold man; a billionaire jackhole used to getting his way, doing whatever to whomever whenever. When he has to take sole custody of his sister's infant daughter after tragedy strikes, he has no clue what he is doing- and has no interest in figuring it out.
Hiring a nanny for the child till he can figure out a better living situation for the small child is proving to be more difficult than he had anticipated, having gone through several in a short time frame, that is until Penelope shows up at his cold, lifeless mansion.
She refuses to take his no at the door for an answer, marches into his home, straight up the stairs to the crying Lilly Belle and straight into a job.
He despises her .. maybe, but she is very good with his niece.. as long as she follows his rules there will be no issues... Right?

I have to say; I ended up enjoying this story! I am one of those guilty pleasure fools who love the troubled A-holes with a heart in there deep, DEEP down.
It had such a sweet, passionate, heart-tugging romance throughout I loved watching them grow together!
I just wish it could have been longer!!
Great Read!

Loved this story partially because the h was kick ass and she just did not allow herself to be intimidated or play the weak little woman.

Ethan Townsend is the Steel magnate of America, a billionaire and a media regular. He's known for being gorgeous, being powerful and being difficult. As a 28 year old workaholic single alpha male he is in no way equipped to deal with a baby which is left in his care after his sister and her husband die in a car wreck. Enter Penelope Wallach, a young nanny sent by the agency to interview to replace the fourth or fifth nanny that Ethan has managed to fire in oh, just a couple of weeks.

Ethan has a set list of rules that the agency has for what is acceptable as a nanny. Penelope fails on one account - she is pretty and Ethan, knowing his true nature, has asked they basically all be homely. He's ready to kick her to the curb without letting her in the house but Penelope is so tenacious, she not only gains entrance to the gruff billionaire's mansion, she gets the job.

Needless to say, what ensues is two people who are very attracted to each other but doing their damnedest (at least for awhile) to conceal it and 'appear' as if they are going about business as usual.

The Billionaire and The Nanny was actually really good and I loved both Penelope for not being a doormat, not being a cliche who is dazzled by the billionaire's power or money - who sticks to her own principals and I loved Ethan because he was basically a really great guy, just so fucked up because of his past. All in all, an entertaining read and a lovely ending.

No. Please don't read this one.

I really can't believe how bad this book was! The hero comes off as a total douchebag who has NO feelings whatsoever. I mean he just lost his sister and was given the custody of her only daughter and yet throughout the book there are no moments where he misses his sister or grieves her death. Right off the bat he's more concerned about giving up his niece for adoption and not forming any sort of connection with her. This book contains DUBIOUS notions of CONSENT. The hero takes an open door as an invitation for sex. Even the sex scenes are sloppy at best. The heroine has a cracker for a backbone. The development of characters is just sad. The hero ends up needing therapy towards the end of the book, while that is justified because the author paints him as an unfeeling chauvinistic man. Whereas the heroine goes from a sassy girl who fights for her job to a pushover who surrenders her body in an attempt to supposedly heal a disrespectful and opportunistic hero. There's no connection, no chemistry between the characters. They're haphazardly thrown together without an explanation for their insta-love/hate equation.
Overall, this book was a torture device right from the start. The one star is just for the cute little baby Lilly Belle who appears to be caught in this weird story. The other saving grace is that the book is relatively short.

Consciously choosing to stay miles away from Paige North's books. The boredom from this book shall last me a lifetime.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was a fantastic read! I enjoyed reading this story because it was full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, a compelling storyline, and this book was well written by Paige North. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with—or not. I was enthralled with the characters of Ethan Townsend and Penelope Wallach. At times, I found myself screaming at Ethan telling him to wake up and don’t do it, but this book also gives you a chance to see the progression of Ethan and Penelope’s love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues or should I say, Ethan had to overcome some serious issues, but loves does prevail. This story also shows you how the love of a child can bring people together. Ethan is a billionaire and CEO of his company who is also tall, handsome, arrogant, cold, hard, and unbending. He is in need of a Nanny, and Penelope takes the job. Ethan and Penelope have some serious chemistry between them, building up to what is sure to be a crazy sensual relationship—the sex is off-the-chart hot!! The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. Can’t wait to read the next book.

PROOF, PROOF AGAIN, PROOF AGAIN - UPDATE

This story was basically as expected. I enjoyed the characters and I enjoyed Logan’s icy nature but the story became more and more unlikely which left me groaning. What bothered me most is this author puts out books after book that is in a draft stage. This is the 3rd book I’ve read that is full of errors. It’s an author’s job to make sure her book has been proofed, edited, proofed again and updated. There’s nothing more distracting when reading then to find unnecessary grammatical and proofing errors, wrong word choices, words incorrectly added to a sentence, especially when the author has access to as many free proofers as she wants through arcs - there is no excuse. Far too many errors. Please stop putting out book after book without properly editing and proofing - it is part of your job.

A Nanny needed

This was an emotional read, or could it just be me? Billionaire Ethan Townsend is in need of a nanny for his 7 month old niece.
A drunk driver takes the life of his sister and his brother-in-law and leaves Ethan with Lille's Belle. The agency sends Penelope to help out, but Ethan tells her no, he doesn't want her. Penelope doesn't except his no and when she hears the baby, Penelope rushes in and falls in love with the precious Silly Lilly. Ethan agrees she is well qualified to take care of Lilly, but will he be able to stay away from Penelope? What about his plans to put Lilly Belle up for adoption. He can't father this child, he has his work, what will he do? It will hurt Penelope but it's something he must do, she will be alright. A must read.

Lily Belle Stole the Story

Ethan is a billionaire that received custody of his niece after his sister's death. He wants no part of her and decided to put her out for adoption. In the meantime he needs a nanny to care for her. Penelope comes for the job. He is antagonist toward her and his niece. Very cold and unapproachable. But Penelope breeches his defenses. That is the plot. I really did not like how Ethan is portrayed. I never sympathized with him, he was totally unlikable. Penelope is dual personality, extremely likable with Lily Belle but nypho personality with Ethan. So I only enjoyed the parts that anyone interacted with Lily Belle.

Really enjoyed this book. Very sweet epilogue.

Minor rant though. I hate when you're enjoying a book so much, you look to see what percentage you're at, for example I was at 60% and thinking oh brilliant I still have quite a bit to read....

Then you see "The End' at 67%

NO! I'm sorry but I don't want to read an excerpt of another book, I want to read the other 33% of the book I chose to buy and read! Really irritates me and it's happened in quite a few books I've read recently.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the 67% I read and I just wished I was able to read about these characters until the 100% mark.

”How did I go from “don’t come anywhere near me” to “want to make out on my bed?”

This was a decent novel though both characters kind of had the dialect of someone from England even though Ethan was from New York and Penelope is from Georgia. I guess the main reason that this book doesn’t get 5 stars from me is because I never really liked Ethan. I warmed up to him a little but I don’t think he had to work hard enough for his happy ending. Just because you had a bad childhood doesn’t give you a pass on everything. Plus he literally made me cry. However, I think it was a well written book and it was enjoyable as far as nanny stories go, just not the BEST.

Ethan is a cold-hearted billionaire and has been given guardianship of his niece after his sister and her husband were killed. He plans to give her up for adoption but needs a nanny to care for her until the plans are finalized. Penelope breaks all the rules Ethan had requested but she is good at her job. As their attraction grows so does his feelings for Penelope and his niece. Can Penelope melt that frozen heart or will she be the one with a broken heart? Fast-paced steamy read with plenty of drama and steam. I really liked it!

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was not at all like most of the Nanny/Billionaire books that I've read in the past. This one, was somewhat different. Most of these books deal with the babies or children being an oops, this one was about a young man raising his niece. If there is a similar one, I haven't read it. I do know in the past, Favor Ford has put out books that seem to be identical to other books I have read.

So, Paige North congrats on a really good story.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. The characters were a little strange though it one time. The little baby seem to be very adorable and sweet and needed nanny. Now Ethan her uncle was a real piece of work. But Penelope did what she needed to do to help take care of baby Lilly Belle. Nanny Penelope she had something in store for her. Not with taking care of Lilly Belle but her with her very arrogant and rude uncle Ethan. Penelope wasn't a pushover though, but through it all everything worked out. This was pretty good book. Great read.

Not too bad but I let like it was missing something….

Book started off really good but then around chapters 16-17 it started feeling rushed and sped up to an ending that then leaped to a proposal. It didn’t give me as a reader clear understanding of their feelings towards each other. I fell like it needed at least when more chapters for the readers to feel more of a connection to the story.

Overall a great start to the series. I will look forward to our next handsome yummy billionaire daddy.. 🤤 🤤

I LOVED this book! Sexy, sweet, low on drama, and just the right length. The goal for authors should be for the reader to have a "isn't life just peaches and cream?"sigh of contentment at the end. This is not easily achieved but it's completely satisfying when it happens as it did when I read "The End". Can't wait to read more by this author!

Ethan, Penelope and Lily make quite the little family.

I really enjoyed this take on the billionaire guardian and the nanny romance. Whilst its a little cliche at times its an overall enjoyable read.

My biggest bug bear is that the book ends at 67% which isn't the best feeling when you are really into a book. However I will always accept an exert of something to come!

Beautiful love story

I just loved the alpha father combined with the love he had for his children and weakness for the nanny. The little twists in the story gave it so much character and depth. The sex was off the charts. Keeps me reading every time! Other than the few typing and grammatical errors, I'd say this one is a hit and good read.I

All the feels

I loved this story so much. Ethan’s troubled upbringing made it impossible to live his baby niece he suddenly had custody of with the death of his sister. He didn’t want to hear her, see her, or touch her. His demons are so gripping so the story of how the people around him try to make him see he can be happy is worth the read.

There’s no chemistry between them and the book is basically just sex and more sex…. I had to skim through the pages because it was so boring???? It felt like the book was written in a rush, certain parts were cringy and left out important details! Love is more than just sex, and unfortunately this book has nothing more to offer beside that :(

I found this book just ok. After the instant 'I got to have her' and did because she didn't lock her door...seriously. I kept on reading but there wasn't anything that had me hooked and not wanting to put the book down.
