Fall With Me is book two in the Sixth Street Bands series by Jayne Frost. The above quote pretty much sums up the heroine you will meet in this book. Is she perfect, no, no-one is. But she is strong and determined and proud and smart and is just the woman to catch Christian’s eye, and never let it go!



Melody is just about a month from graduating from college when she met Christian. She was holding down two jobs to make ends meet and was tired and grumpy when the famous rock star came into the burger place she was working at. Their first meeting didn’t really go all that well but it was enough to catch Christian’s attention. So when they happened to meet again by accident in the library, they both knew it was their second chance to connect, and connect they did!



It was supposed to be a one night stand. Their lives couldn’t be more different. Christian was a rock star on the rise. He is the bass player for Caged. Melody’s life was a quiet one filled with studies and labs. But one night wasn’t enough. Christian felt pulled back to her every night. She smelled like Autumn to him. He couldn’t get her out of his head.

“She was a rock star in her own right, she just had a different kind of stage on which to perform.”



Christian can’t deny that he has led the life so far of a rock star. There are women always waiting in the wings, parties, booze, anything he wants. But after he met Melody, it all paled. It was only her that filled his mind. Slowly she lowered her walls and let him in. But there is so much more to her than meets the eye. She’s convinced she could never fit into his world but Christian doesn’t want a world without her in it.



I love this series so much. I had already read books four and five when I decided to go back to the beginning and read the books I missed. I’m loving getting to know the other band mates. I admit I hardly knew Christian at all but I fell for him just as I have the rest of his friends. Melody and Christian were perfectly suited for each other. Yes, it took them awhile to figure that out, but I completely enjoyed watching them on their journey. This is a pretty short book but filled with so much. I can’t wait to continue on with the series with book three, Missing From Me, which will be Sean, the drummer’s story.

➦This is a sweet and sexy rockstar romance and I was glad to be granted an audiobook by the author to get a glimpse of her writing style. If you enjoy "rockstar falls for a regular girl" trope and somewhat lighthearted reads then definitely pick this one up!

➦The hero is very likable and so is the heroine, for that matter. A couple of secondary characters were also rather memorable. I want to mention that I've read this book months ago and only now getting around to writing a review. I do remember the heroine really well but my mind is a bit hazy on the hero. So, while I might not have completely fallen in love with him, I really enjoyed the story as a whole. I wished it were a bit longer with more development on the hero's part. Other than that, thumbs up.

I have kind of went backwards with this series, as I’ve read books 3, 4, and 5 but not 1 and 2. When I saw book 2 was available to listen to on audio, I decided to give it a listen. I’m so glad I did! I loved Christian and Melody’s story.

Melody is a college student and Christian is a nerdy rock star. They meet at a restaurant but that doesn’t go well… then they bump into each other again in a library. These two just click. They have more in common then Melody thinks and Christian isn’t the type of guy she first thought he was. They appear to be so different, but really, they aren’t. The hero in this book is so dang lovable. I liked the heroine a lot as well. They were great together.

This book had much less of the rockstar vibe than some of the others. Christian is a bit nerdy and very smart and that’s what I loved most about him. These two were a great match and I really enjoyed listening to their story. The only complaint I have is that I wish it was longer- it was much too short for my liking.

Okay y'all, this book was incredibly good. Although it was short, in no way did the story seem rushed. The pacing of the plot and the interaction between the characters made for quite the entertaining little read.

Christian is the bassist for a soon-to-be famous band, Caged. Melody is a college student who works many jobs to make ends meet. What could these two possibly have in common? Superior intellect, witty banter, and an undeniable sexual attraction. Both characters are entirely too logical to believe in love or HEAs. But what happens when the way you feel about someone else defies logic?

I enjoyed many elements of this story, such as the references to autumn (my favorite season), the delicate way the author represented various illnesses, and even the banter between Christian and Melody, though abrasive at times. Each scene illustrated the unexpected intimacy between the main characters and I was impatiently waiting for the big reveal of emotions.

I liked this book so much that I'm not only going to read book one, but I'm going to stay tuned for the rest of the series. The preview at the end into Sean's story definitely intrigues me. And I'm excited to see when Logan finally falls. That will be a trip ;)

Melody’s first meeting with the famous rock star Christian isn’t a pleasant one. When she meets him again at the library, she realizes that he’s not like she expected him to be. Christian isn’t letting Melody go without a fight and he chases her. Christian wants to be with Melody whenever he can. Melody doesn’t mind spending time with him, but she also wants to guard her heart.

Christian is a great character. He is not like other rock stars I’ve read about. He’s refreshing. He’s extremely smart and passionate about many things. He’s kind and loving. Christian quickly likes Melody and wants to be with her, but he never pushes her.

Melody is sweet, loving and smart. She isn’t sure what to think about the gorgeous, famous Christian being interested in her, so she’s a little insecure and tries to keep her distant. Melody knows what she wants and she wants to focus on college. Melody also has a few secrets.

Fall With Me is short, sweet, beautiful and unique. It is the second book in the Sixth Street Bands series, but I hadn’t read the first book. There are no spoilers about the previous book and I never had the feeling that I needed to read that book first. After meeting the secondary characters, I want to read the first book and any book that will follow.

A fast food joint probably isn’t where you’d expect to meet a rock star, nor is the crabby cashier likely the person to become the love of your life. While defying statistics and probability might go against Christian Sears and Melody Sullivan’s nature, it’s certainly in their fate.

I really enjoyed the unconventional way these two met and then got to know each other. So often romance novellas lack the building of the romance, but that’s certainly not the case here. Not only could I feel Christian and Mel’s drawl to each other, I could discern the various moments when they were becoming something much more to each than they were looking for.

“I wondered if she smelled the same in summer, or if sunshine emanated from her pores. It was then I realized I really wanted to find out.”

There was definitely more than meets the eye to Christian than just being a rock star. He was a deeper guy. I adored the “nerdy” side to him and the way Mel was it for him even when he didn’t entirely realize it yet.

“I’d grown to believe she was my air. The fact I couldn’t breathe without her proved the hypothesis.”

And Mel, a student researcher, was a smart and strong female character, even when she perceived herself as flawed. Both characters were well developed, and I look forward to seeing more of them in future books as well as how things progress with the band.

This is the second story in the Sixth Street Bands series although it can easily be read as a standalone. Like the previous one, Gone for You, it’s also told entirely from the hero’s point a view and, like Cameron, Christian is an adorable book boyfriend. A lot of that might have to do with the fact that the stories favor a sweet and sexy romantic tale rather than sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The main focus is on the couples rather than the rock lifestyle, and there are plenty of steamy encounters.

“‘I’m not worried about you touching you. That’s my job, angel. I’ll always take care of you.’”

This is Christian's book, the bass player in the band and the band member that was injured in the first book. He's doing fine now.

Nicknamed "Wikipedia" by Logan, we now get to find out the reasoning behind the nickname. His need for knowledge leads him to local libraries and that's where he runs into Melody for the second time. They immediately start challenging each other and its game on.

This book is set up almost exactly like the first book as far as predictability and formula. The certain smell of each other, Christian claiming "mine", the electricity when the other is around and the insta-lust that quickly evolves to insta-love. The only things lacking is the females are not virgins and condoms are used! Again, I was really hoping for the female's POV.

There's a little more drama in this book and I definitely got my hopes up. Happily, everything worked out for the most part.

So far, these stories don't have epilogues but the story line is ongoing through each band member's book so that helps out.

Fall with Me by Jayne Frost was a fast read i devoured in on session. It was my first book by this author and I honestly like her writing style. The leading characters are well developed - yet there is still room for emotional development - as I could not fully connect with the characters.

I do not want to go into detail about the plot to avoid spoilers but I am pretty convinced that readers of "rocker romances" are going to like this book.

Oh and in case you wonder - yes even famous people need to eat and I can confirm it IS indeed possible to meet them at fast food joints :-)

Fall with Me is the first book I've read by Jayne Frost and the second in the Sixth Street Bands series. I received a complimentary copy for an honest review.

Christian "Wikipedia" Sears is the bassist for the band Caged. He's gorgeous, confident and fun loving; yet he's also super intelligent and geeky - in a good way. Melody "Mel" Sullivan is gorgeous, brash, snarky and brilliant. She's weeks away from her college graduation, where she's devoted her time to medical research.

The band was on an extended break in their hometown. The two meet and decide to play out their attraction for as long as it lasts, neither expecting more than a night or two. Fall with Me was aptly named as neither believed in forever love and it was a sweet, albeit hot and sexy, journey that unfolded.

The story was told from a single point of view, Christian's. It was refreshing to get only the male perspective for once. I wasn't a fan of Mel at first, but as the story developed and her layers began to unravel, she grew on me.

I loved that Christian called her Angel and I loved the way the story developed. Additionally, Frost tackled two medical issues: Diabetes and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a neurological disease. The details and perspective Frost included added depth and dimension to the storyline.

Although I was a fan, the story ended a little too abruptly for me. I craved more or at least an epilogue for a glimpse into the future. I'm hopeful for continued development as the series progresses.

Although part of a series, Fall with Me can be read as a standalone. However, I'm intrigued and plan to backtrack to read the first book in the series, Gone for you. Next up is Sean in Missing from Me.

This was a rock romance that brought out something additional to the “normal” rocker books. This one gave you a little inside look at a disease many have and I felt it was done with great taste. Even with that aside it gave you a rocker that was not only hot and could get any girl he wanted just like the rest of his bandmates. Christian was a little different than most rockers and had been labeled as a nerd by some of those close to him; the man was very smart which he needed to be in order to keep pace with the woman who happened into his life. Melody was going to school on a scholarship and was determined to do research work on another health ailment that hit close to her heart. They met at a fast food place and Melody ended up losing her job as a cashier there after making an overheard snide comment to Christian. It was at that point that Christian realized what a little spit fire this girl was. She definitely wasn’t like any of his usual groupies. The banter between these two was pretty funny at times and very endearing.

Would Christian and Melody find a place in each other’s worlds or would that prove to be too much for them to work through? Then add in the idea of Melody’s health issues along with her determination to live a normal life, how would any rock star be able to understand and accept what Melody would need if you wanted to be a part of her life. Don’t get me wrong because you were given the dose of the rock world that many of use rock romance lovers want in our books. It was just refreshing to add in another element and one of such importance. The supporting characters have a story to come too I hope. Very well done and looking forward to more books from Ms. Frost.

This is my first book by Jayne Frost but, after reading this book I want to go back and read book 1. I didn't have any problem following along with this book however.

This was a quick, sweet read told completely from Christian, the heros, POV. Christian isn't the typical rockstar I've read about. He's nerdy and I loved him for that. He knew Melody was different from the moment they met and wasn't willing to let her disappear from his life. After there first meeting goes bad, shes surprised to bump into him at the library.

Melody didn't know what to make of the sexy Christian being so into her, he's nothing like she thought he was and is pleasantly surprised to see this completely unexpected side to him.

I absolutely loved Melodys sassy attitude especially when it was towards Christian, she wasn't like the women he's use to meeting and it was refreshing for him.

Christian turned out to be such a surprise. A sexy rockstar who is also a geek, double hotness! He definitely surprised me. I really enjoyed his story.
However, this was such an insta love and I don't really like how fast things go in those. Giving that, the story was short but definitely sweet.

Melanie at first glance was a total bitch but she was hiding her soft behind that attitude. Her life was anything but simple, having diabetes and a sick grandmother who is the only family she has left made her through up a wall to protect her heart. But that is nothing Christian can't crack, not even when his insecurities get in the way. These two were nothing but soft and watching them together was heart warming and sweet.

This is the second book in the Sixth Street Band series and I reviewed this at the request of the author as well. Do I dare say this book was better than the first? I think I can say that. But they were both amazing either way!

This time around we got to hear Christian’s story from his perspective. Another love story from the perspective of a male MC. Now y’all know I’m REALLY HOOKED right?

My favorite thing about this book was that both Christian and the girl he meets are super smart and they have intelligent conversations. I like that even though these two people are so different in many ways, but they are able to bond on this level.

The second book also follows the precedence set in the first book. Christian meets a girl named Melody and, once again, she ISNT MADE OUT TO BE PERFECT. This has to be one of my favorite things about Jayne Frost so far. I actually feel a connection with Melody because she lives with diabetes and takes insulin shots. Personally, I am hypoglycemic so I can definitely relate to her.

The love and the relationship that develop between Christian and Melody is the stuff of fairytales! It’s what every girl dreams of! Even in Christian’s druken stupor after a fight with Melody, he still cant bring himself to even touch another female. SWOON!

These books seem to have a trend going, not that I find that a flaw because they feel different in the different stories. But there’s always the aspect of the female hiding something. The male bearing his soul and completely changing his ways for the female. Then there’s the enraging aspect of the female fleeing the relationship and the male just LETTING them go. Like seriously can we just fight for something real, darn it! I dont understand why Christian just lets Melody walk away! And we spend a few miserable book months pining for them to just get back together already!

I really liked that this book took on an informational form too. Melody’s grandmother suffers from a disease caused by a very specific gene. Melody is trying to conduct research on it, but cant get the funding. So Christian, being the wonderful man that he is, sets up a sort of fundraiser in Melody’s grandmother’s honor. It’s really quite sweet. I like that this book taught me something!

Christian completely breaks my heart when he reveals how he really feels about love. He says, and I’m paraphrasing here, that love is fleeting and not a permanent state of mind. I REFUSE to believe that, even though it does kind of seem to be true.

These books also always have the feel good endings, which I REALLY REALLY like.

I simply cannot wait for the next book in the series and I sincerely hope that Jayne Frost and her publisher will give me the pleasure of reviewing this book for them as well!

Fall in love with Christian and Mel.....

I was lucky when I was given the opportunity to read FALL WITH ME, I was able to read it immediately after finishing GONE FOR YOU. Even though this is a series, the books can very easily be read as stand alsones. Once again Jayne has written a book that flowed beautifully and was easy to read. Her writing formula is obviously working as I struggled to put this book down, reading it in only a few hours.

As with he first book, I fell in love with the two main characters, Christian Sears and Melody Sullivan. i loved the way that Ms Frost had Christian and Mel first meet, a takeaway food place - now that certainly is different, but then everybody needs to eat!!!! A rock star and a register chick - a combination that certainly will warm your heart and bring a tingle to your toes. Watching their friendship go through the various stages before they are willing to admit their love for each other, was a pleasure.

It was interesting that Ms Frost was able to have a rock star who was also a bit of a nerd. Normally they are portrayed as self-centered and egotistical, but Christian is sweet, charming and extremely intelligent. Then again he would have to be in order to keep Mel in his life.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story that Ms Frost has given us. There was humour, drama, heavy emotional moments and a beautiful friendship and relationship. The book was also an informative one, when relaying the medical information required for Mel. Ms Frost has certainly done her research for this one. i most certainly will be reading the next book in the series, when it is published.

I received this book from the author and voluntarily agreed to review it. Once again, after reading the book, I went out and purchased it.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!!! I really liked this very different take on rock star meets his match story. The entire story is from the male POV and Christian is not your normal rock star band member. I loved every aspect of him, he was kind, sweet, sexy (in my mind), and reflective. Melody was sassy, sweet, caring, and a ball of funny that you just cheered for. Both characters had so much heart and everything that they go through you feel right along with them. This book/novella is part of a series of standalone books about the Sixth Street Bands, some of the characters from the first book make an appearance but you truly do not need to read the first book to enjoy those characters or how they are interjected into the story. Their appearances do encourage me to pick up book one to learn more about these characters and look forward to the next book as well.

I was hooked by the blurb and Ms. Frost followed through with an amazing book over all.

I loved getting to know Melody, Christian, and the other guys in the band.

5 stars. I highly recommend this book.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

MAJOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT:
I really liked this installment in the Sixth Street Bands series. While I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book, it was still a solid sequel.

Christian- I didn't get to see much of Christian in the first book. He was in the hospital for the majority of that installment and his personality didn't come through a lot. This book was completely told through his POV (except for the epilogue), and I fell in love with him as a person. He went from this guy that didn't believe in love or anything that he couldn't touch, to taking a leap and throwing his heart on the line. That's great character development people!

Melody- I'm not gonna lie, Mel rubbed me the wrong way for the first few chapters. I didn't like how she carried herself and it took a while for me to warm up to her. After I found out more about her past and learned about her having diabetes, my view completely changed. Her character made a lot more sense and my heart reached out to her. I can't imagine the life she has had to live and I'm happy that her and Christian found each other.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It started out a little rough, but definitely got better. I will be continuing the series and I can't wait to read the next book!

So not what you would expect from a rock star read. Christian melted my heart!!! I absolutely fell in love with Christian and Melody. They are perfect for each other in every way. This is another read told in the POV of the male character. I don't want to say to much because I don't want to give anything away. It is definitely a must read!!!!!!

Christian is the bassist of the band Caged and is recording new music. Melody is college student. They both lead very different lives but they're both math nerds. And neither of them are interested in a relationship. So when they're faced with a mutual attraction, they decide to give it the good ol' no-strings try.

So they both do their own work and they have sex. Except they also bond over witty banter and math, of all things, because when does no-strings ever work? One person always get attached. In this case, they both do. But for things to work, they have to work through their reservations.

For Christian, it's the fact that he doesn't believe in a love that lasts, or relationships that work. Melody has had some bad experiences with overbearing boyfriends and she wants college to be priority. All good reasons. And usually, you'd expect a lot of drama to go down for those reasons. But surprisingly, there wasn't any. Both Christian and Melody handled things like mature adults.

Their relationship was cute and I really liked them together. Individually, they both had problems. Melody could be snobby and judgemental and Christian could be a tad overbearing, but they worked very well together.

As for flaws in the novel, both the characters judgy-ness (mainly Melody's though) sometimes bothered me; and I think the book could have used a better flow. One scene didn't always move seamlessly into the next. Like the scenes in a movie that haven't been arranged properly, making it seem more like a series of events than one collective story.

Overall, I enjoyed reading the novel. It was simple, short, well-paced and cute, and if you're in the mood for something like that, you should try it.

Fall with Me by Jayne Frost Sixth Street Bands Book 2

This is the first book I have read from Jayne Frost and I must say the story was solid and a joy to read. The characters we well developed and the story line was familiar with a twist that I haven’t read before.

Meet Melody and Christian the awesome characters in this book. These characters are similar but very different. Melody is a college student who has been studying proteins and is part of some very intense research. Christian on the other had is an intelligent rock star who is very intelligent and spends his downtime reading books from library.

The similarities are because they are both smart and can relate on the same intellectual level. However, that is where the similarities stop. Melody is a college student that only has her grandmother for family. Christian has a family he doesn’t see very often and despite his success with the band he is considered a disappointment. They do not appear to be a match.

Christian and Melody meet at a local restaurant where she is at the checkout counter. Let’s just say Melody didn’t make a good first impression and the proceeded to get fired. She is sassy and seems to light a fire within Christian that he has never felt before.

The chemistry these two have when they meet is electric and they both feel it. There seems to be an issue with their communication because sex seems to be the way they deal with issues. As they start to see each other on a regular basis personal information about family is shared and the relationship grows. Will they be able to stay together?

If you like a steady paced book that has watches a relationship grow, then this is the book for you. It is sweet, loving, and just a nice change of pace.

I highly recommend this book.

Fall with Me is the second standalone novella in the Sixth Street Bands series by Jayne Frost, and although it's not necessary to read Gone for You, the first novella in the series, I would highly recommend doing so if you want to know more about the music group Caged and the characters. It had almost been two years since I had read Gone for You, so it took me a while to remember all of the characters and events from that book, but once I did, I really enjoyed reading Christian and Melody's story in Fall with Me. Christian and Melody were great characters and I liked their personalities and chemistry together. Their story progressed quickly since Fall with Me is a novella of just over 150 pages, but I thought the author did an excellent job writing and telling it. Christian and Melody's story was interesting and entertaining to read, and although it was on the shorter side, it was tastefully done with very few grammatical errors. Fall with Me was solely told from Christian's POV, and while I liked reading it from his perspective, I usually enjoy reading a book from both of the main character's POV. But that's just my opinion. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well and thought they made a nice addition to the story. I was kind of surprised how little music was mentioned in the book since it is a music romance, but I liked that the focus was mainly on Christian and Melody, and not the band. With all of that being said, if you're looking for a short, sweet, and sexy romance with music elements, then Fall with Me and the Sixth Street Bands series is definitely for you!

Great characters?…Yes. Witty dialogue?…Yes. Sweet, sexy, and surprisingly moving?…Yes, yes and yes. Fall With Me gets an astounding YES! from me. The second installment in the Sixth Street Band series is a quick, easy and smooth romance novella that sucked me in from the very beginning. And because I’m selfish, I want more!

Christian did not believe in love. Biologically, people were not meant to stay together. The attraction always fades. For him and his lifestyle as bassist for the band Caged, it’s just easier not to get involved with anything serious. Then he meets Melody. She’s pretty, smart and dedicated to her studies and research. She also shares Christian's beliefs. Their instant attraction to each other is electric so they enter a no expectations relationship. Having their fun until it runs it’s course. But the more time Christian spends with Mel, the deeper he falls.

I absolutely loved these characters. Let me tell you, a rock star who is also ridiculously smart is crazy HOT! *sigh Christian. The book world needs more characters like Christian Sears. I heart his mind. Then there is Melody. This strong willed brilliant girl refused to let the challenges life threw at her keep her down. I’m so impressed with Melody. From their unique meeting to the very end, these two characters never lacked in chemistry and sweetness. They just work!

Fall with Me was my first book by Jayne Frost but not my last. I really enjoyed her writing style. It flowed nicely. I already downloaded book 1 onto my Kindle.

Fall With Me, by Jayne Frost, is my first book by the author and I have gotten quite familiar with the rockstar and simple girl, rockstar and simple guy story lines, in the recent time and I gotta say, they have an appeal of their own.
This story hits a bit close to home. Not in its entirety but in bits and pieces, and therefore I felt more of a connection with the main characters.
So we have this amazing rocker guy, who isn't your average rockstar. He is a bit nerdy and knows what he wants, he's self assured, same goes for our heroine, a strong, resilient yet at times a bit guarded, independent and self reliant kind of girl. They both cross paths and with time realize that sharing and depending on others, someone you can count on and eventually grow to love, does not strip you off your independence or self reliance, rather it can change your well formed views on life and love and make you a better and a more balanced person in general.
Both characters became from not believing in happily ever afters (for their own genuine reasons which I won't disclose cuz duh, you gotta read the book for that) to taking the fall with each other (see what I did there)!
Another thing that really appealed to me was the causal yet witty banter among the characters. Writing style was on point, well versed and never lagging.
All in all, it's a quick, fun read, that takes you through an emotional ride that doesn't grate on your nerves. I am sure to check out the first book and the ones to follow. Will be on the look out for more by Jayne.

Fall With Me is such a short and deep novella of the "Sixth Street Bands" series. The protagonist is Christian, bassist of the band Caged and a real geek-nerd. We are told the events from his perspective, which was new for me because I usually read dual or female POVs. Being a novella, things develop quite fast but it's not an issue for me because the characters realize their feelings slowly and form a strong bond.

The heroine of the series was Melody "Mel". She is about to graduate and meets Christian in the library of her college and instantly clicks with him. The two start a friends with benefits relationship of the sorts but then they realize they enjoy each other's company too much and both are scared of the outcome and to be hurt. I could relate with Mel because she's a controlled person who doesn't let others dictate what she does with her life, but once she lets Christian into her world, they try new things together and she's more carefree after.

The story was typical but perhaps the fact that there was a male POV made me enjoy it; it was a contemporary romance at its best. I believe the point of this story was that sometimes we should all let things go and let ourselves open to new beginnings, new adventures, even if we end up falling. Thankfully for them, Mel and Christian fell for each other.

I didn't read the first book but perhaps I already have it on my Kindle, so I didn't know the other members of the band before I read this one, and they seem quite interesting, especially Logan. I wonder if the author plans to write a book on him as well - he seemed like the most troubled of them all so far. We'll see. :)

I was so happy that Fall With Me built upon the potential I saw when reading the first book in the Sixth Street Bands' series. While Gone for YouGone for You seemed rushed, this one had perfect pacing.

It definitely helped that the Mel and Christian had great chemistry from the start. It was easy for me to see why they would be drawn to each other. They are both geeky in their own ways and that served as a nice foundation for their romance. They actually talked instead of just exploring their physical chemistry.

I also liked Mel's story. Her situation is so realistic and one that doesn't get highlighted in novels let alone romantic ones and I really appreciated that. It added to the story in a strong way.

I'm excited to see if the momentum will keep up in the next book!

Fall With Me is the first book I've read by Author Jayne Frost, and I'm so glad I agreed to review this book. Fall With Me is book 2 in the Sixth Street Band Romance, but you don't have to read book one. This could be read as a standalone, I did and I wasn't lost at all.

It was supposed to be a one night stand, with breakfast. But Christian and Melody decide to let it play out on it's on and have a bit of fun, nothing serious, just sex. Just an Autumn fling. Christian's never been in a relationship, but Mel is different.

Mel isn't one who parties, she a declared nerd, who has her sights set on the big picture of helping others and finding cures. Christian is what she's been needing, even if she didn't know it.

These two characters mesh so well. It's not forced, their chemistry is hot and plays so well on the pages. Mel is hot headed, sassy, determined and has her own little secret. Christian isn't your typical rockstar. Yes, he loves the ladies, but he isn't a dog, like were accustomed to from other books. He's sweet and caring. I love them together!

I love when books don't seemed forced, and this is one that reads so easily. And I learned some awesome stuff while reading Fall With Me. It's full of useful information. And that gives it the extra effect. I'll definitely be reading more by this author.

What a sweet and refreshingly different story. I went in expecting the typical true rockstar book and was surprisingly taken aback to find something different. I really enjoyed this storyline of a hot, sexy, sweet, kind rockstar and the sassy, strong, caring grad student who was more than meets the eye (at least for Christian).
There were so many sweet moments with these two that made you just swoon. If you ever had a crush on a hot rocker then this book is for you. I loved that we got this story strictly from Christians POV. Being in his head was fun and it showed us a different side to “typical” rockers. It was refreshing and just made you sigh. It was great seeing their relationship change and evolve and it was somehow sweeter seeing it through Christian's POV.
This is the second book in the Sixth Street Bands series but can be read as a complete standalone. I had no problem following the story but now I want to read book one because Cameron sounds like someone I should get to know. I really want to know just why they are on a break. I know it was mentioned in the book but I would like to read exactly how it came about.
This author is definitely on my list of new authors to follow.

After reading and loving the first Sixth Street Bands book, "Gone For You", when I got a chance to review this book I jumped at the chance. This one was just as good as the first in the series. This book focused on Christian, bass player for the band Caged, from Austin. Although a famous rock star, Christian is extremely intelligent (not to mention smokin' hot). This has always been a point of contention in his family, especially with his mathematician father, who thinks that Christian is wasting his life away. His band mates even gave him the nickname "Wikipedia".
But his interest in more scholarly things led him to his second meeting with Melody, a grad student at UT. At their first meeting, Christian basically got the beautiful blond Melody fired from her job. He was intrigued with her and her fiery temper an sassy attitude as well as her obvious intelligence. But to say their personalities clashed is an understatement. The growing relationship between the two of them was so very entertaining! Both had insecurities and hesitations about relationships in general, but by the end of the book they were both working hard to overcome them. Nice HEA! Really enjoying this series and can't wait for Sean's book!
