Tawas Goes Hollywood

Rate this book
When a video of Agnes and Eleanor solving a mystery is leaked online ... director, Roman Douglas, hopes to profit from their success and make a movie about them showcasing Tawas as the next Cabot Cove.

Production trucks are soon rolling into town and setting up at the Tawas Point for the opening scene, but before the director has a chance to call out action, a man is found dead on the set.

Actresses Hannah Paris and Eileen Foster didn't come to Tawas to be embroiled in a real mystery and they're certainly not welcome to butt in as Agnes Barton and Eleanor Mason embark on their greatest adventure to date -- proving to those Hollywood big shots they deserve to be acting in their own movie!

But will Agnes and Eleanor be able to solve this mystery before the cast and crew is killed off one by one?

When Madison Johns began writing at the age of forty-four, she never imagined she'd make it onto the USA Today best-selling books list with her first cozy mystery, Armed and Outrageous, as an independent author. Sure, this book is an Amazon bestseller, but USA Today?

Although sleep-deprived from working third shift, she knew if she used what she had learned while caring for senior citizens to good use, it would result in something quite unique. The Agnes Barton Senior Sleuths mystery series has forever changed Madison's life, with each of the books making it onto the Amazon bestseller's list for cozy mystery and humor.

Madison is a member of Sisters In Crime. Madison is now able to do what she loves best and work from home as a full-time writer. She has two children, a black lab, and a hilarious Jackson Chameleon to keep her company while she churns out more Agnes Barton stories with a few others brewing in the pot.

All righty then!

When I first started this series, it was new, fresh and funny. After the Bigfoot book, it lost credibility. This book feels like it was thrown together with bits of whimsy for a few lighthearted moments. I miss the beginning of the series where Agnes and Andrew were often the main distraction and you wondered if they would EVER get together. It was fresh, it was new, it was exciting. There was no mention of her daughter's beau the sea captain and she was back to wearing catsuits! I jut can't follow Madison's line of thinking. I love the series, but hope she can be more creative and sendour girls odd in a totally different direction.

I just love to see what mischief Agnes and Eleanor get themselves into! I look forward to reading every book in this series. I wish Madison would put a book out each month in this series! If you read one book in this series you will want to read more. I highly recommend this book and every book in this series!!!!

Tapas goes Hollywood

Book number 14 Tawas goes Hollywood is a fun to read about our favorite senior sleuths but it was way to short for me and this is why I gave it only three stars.

Good Read

I liked reading about Agnes and Eleanor. But I always enjoy reading about Curt and Curtis. The plot was a little thin, but still held my attention. I did have a few laughs while reading.
