Out of all the Club Thrive hunks, Slade is soooo by far my favorite! He’s the strong, silent type and he melts me. Kara and Slade together are a lovely match. So well balanced and their chemistry is off the charts!
This is by far one of the best book series I’ve read in a long time! Keep ‘em coming, Ms Mello!

This is such an awesome series. Each book just gets better and better. Kara has been sneaking glances at Slade but now that she's free from her jerky boyfriend, she can full on look. Slade has had his eye on her for awhile now. When they finally hook up, it's epic. But the jerky boyfriend isn't letting her go that easy. Will they be able to stop him? Alison Mello has such a good way of pulling her readers into the storyline. With each book, you get to delve into the world of Club Thrive and all who enter there. There is mystery, drama, and of course lots of hot sexy time!!! Do yourself and favor and pick this book up. You'll be wishing there really was a Club Thrive!!!

I don’t know how she does it, but Alison Mello’s books just keep getting better and better! I have enjoyed every installment of the “Club Thrive” series, and “Deception” was no exception.
When the book starts out, Kara is dating Noah. She loves him, but she feels like she is putting more effort into their relationship than he is. Noah frequently forgets things that are important to Kara, so she feels like he doesn’t listen to her, and he doesn’t care about her feelings. As time goes on, Noah seems to get more and more distant. Kara knows that something is going on, but she can’t quite put her finger on it. The more she tries to get closer to Noah, the farther away he seems to get. Every time he screws up, Noah promises Kara that it’s the last time, and that he’ll make it up to her. Kara finally has enough, and decides to break up with Noah. Noah is furious. Despite the appearance that he doesn’t value his relationship with Kara, he doesn’t want anyone else to have her either.
Slade is attracted to Kara. They have a lot of mutual friends, but they’ve never spent time alone together. Slade has always wanted to ask Kara out, but he respected her relationship, and chose not to interfere. He’s also a bit nervous of how Kara will perceive their age difference. When Slade finds out that Kara has broken up with Noah, he makes his move. Kara has just had her heart broken, so she’s hesitant to enter another relationship so soon. However, there’s just something about Slade that intrigues her. She senses a connection that she can’t let go of.
Noah gets wind that Kara is moving on, and he isn’t happy. He decides to try to do everything he can to try and get her back, and this lands him in a dangerous situation. Kara learns that Noah has been stealing, selling, and taking drugs. Despite all the pain Noah caused her, she tries to help him. Noah doesn’t seem to want the help, and he keeps digging himself into a bigger and bigger hole. Noah’s drug problem continues to spiral out of control, not only endangering his life, but Kara’s, Slade’s, and a lot of their friends.
There is a ton of suspense in “Deception”. The suspense slowly builds until around the halfway point, then it explodes into an action packed storyline that you can’t put down! The romance is HOT! You’ll definitely be turned on by the passion between Slade and Kara. You’ll find yourself deeply enthralled in the love story, and crying when tragedy strikes. My emotions were all over the place, as is often the case with Alison Mello’s writing. The only bad thing I have to say about “Club Thrive: Deception” is that I didn’t want it to end!

Club Thrive: Deception is Kara's story. See while this is a standalone, I still recommend that you read the previous stories, as there's some backstory that only makes the suspense of this story more intense. Kara has been wasting time on her boyfriend Noah, who definitely needs to be junk punched. And while this is going on, Slade, the bodyguard for The Club Thrive family, has been waiting in the wings with a silent crush. So when Noah is sent on his way, Slade is there to show Kara what a good man is, not to mention keeping her safe, as he doesn't believe that Noah will go quietly. Alison Mello is such a talented and addictive author, that seriously, I wouldn't sit home chillin' with Netflix if this club was anywhere near me. Thankfully, she immersed me in her exciting world to make my quiet Friday night so much more exciting. I'm highly addicted to this series that has serious heat, very funny & amazing secondaries, while the suspense of the twists keep my heart racing with loud f-bomb dropping. So while I'm happy to have already devoured this exciting piece of goodness, now, I'll be waiting impatiently for my next foray into Ms. Mello's fantastic world! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was not only a great book but it was also a great series. Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better. When we meet Kara she is in a pretty crappy relationship. But as soon as that relationship ends she is free to pursue to a relationship with the one person she has had her eye on for a while. When Slade and Kara finally get together it’s like fireworks go off. As soon as they think they can move on with their lives. Kara’s ex comes back into her life causing all sorts of trouble. Will they be able to move past the trouble he brings or will that be the end of this relationship? This book had everything. It had a bit of mystery, suspense, and drama and of course the sex is scorching hot. I love how you get snippets of the characters from the other books. So, it’s nice to catch up with them and to see what they are up to now.

First, a good book must have some elements to make it a good book, such as it must make you laugh, cry, want to throw the book and lastly hold on and not let go to the very last page. So this book did all of that for me. Alison Mello has a way to draw you in holds you as if you are standing right there. Now Deception is Kara and Slade's tale. I admit I love Slade, but who wouldn't. If you have the other books in this series you would have followed both of there timelines. Kara is dating a jerk and Slade is waiting for her to come to her senses. Let's just say the rest of the book is steamy hot and without giving out spoilers you will be sad when you turn that last page as you will want to keep reading. The whole Club Thrive Series is epic and each book gets better and better! I highly recommend this book and series.

Slade is part of the Club Thrive family and now that Kara is single he is going to take full advantage of the opportunity. He has been attracted to her for a while but kept his distance because of her boyfriend.
The wait for them to be together only made their connection and chemistry that much stronger so when it finally happens it was off the charts but when things with her ex are not as they appear and will Slade be able to protect her?
I love these two characters as Kara is spirited and feisty while Slade is the alpha protector and the combination of twists, suspense and chemistry make this a must read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Slade isn’t going to miss his chance with her, so he’s going to make sure she’s not single for long! Of course, the road to happiness is never smooth, but all the obstacles only make their love that much stronger.
Oh my, Slade is HOT! Their chemistry is undeniable, and the author knows just how to build the tension for a very satisfying payoff. Slade’s devotion to Kara is so sweet, so beautifully written. Wow loads of action in the third book of the series starting out with Noah and Kara. Noah in the name of love has some twisted ideas and becomes involved in some darkness and Kara has said bye bye Felicia!! But that is only the beginning, as we know with this author she has a tendency to make the ordinary extraordinary and this book is no different. There is plenty of story which is the focus and yes there is steam, but there is so much more to this story.
Now of course this may technically be a standalone but there is so much back story that you would miss that I don't recommend it. This is an ongoing story but each book tells a separate story. Either way it goes this is a book that is filled with suspense and emotion and some good loving and some other stuff. Great read from an author that is easily an awesome writer with an imagination that is off the chain and always enjoyable.

This is the 4th book in this amazing series, and at last we get Kara’s story, and what a story it is!! Slade is the bodyguard for the Thrive family, and has always been attracted to Kara but from a distance, as she had a boyfriend. But when Kara finished it with her ex, all bets are off, and Slade will do whatever he has to in order to protect Kara. This story is hot, humorous, and with twists, which all had me hooked and captivated throughout.
This extremely talented author just keeps getting better and better, and I highly recommend her work for all readers, you will never be disappointed!

Slade and Kara’s story was built up for awhile now. Kara was dating Noah, the paramedic who helped take care of her in an earlier book, but he has been absent and neglecting her through the series for awhile now. Slade has been waiting for the right time to make his move to make Kara his! The sweet and sexy bodyguard is a perfect match fo the independent and young Kara. I loved the companionship, love, affection and heat between this couple. Add in the suspense and a conclusion to the continuing saga of “How do we get rid of Higgins?” And you have a fantastic book! Be sure to pick it up!

Lucky for Slade who has had an eye on her and waits to step in and love her. But is it going to be easy going with an angry Noah and the matter of a Mr Higgins who is still causing problems.
Really good read from a good series and I absolutely cannot wait for the next one!

Club Thrive: Deception is Kara and Slade's story. I patiently waited to read Kara's book and it was worth the wait. I'm so glad she got rid of Noah because Slade is the man for her. Slade and Kara's chemistry was fiery and fun. There's only one problem Kara's ex is back and causing problems. Will Slade be able to protect Kara from her crazy ex? This is a hot, steamy, suspenseful story that will keep you hooked until the last page. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Kara was in a relationship with Noah but he just does not seem he is committed to her . She breaks it off but he wants her back. Kara bar tends at Club Thrive and is a sweetheart . Slade is attracted to her but has not done anything since she is seeing Noah . Slade is a bodyguard that also gets into security and is sexy . They are attracted to each other but Noah wants her back . A wonderful story you must read !

Love this book! Love the Club Thrive series!
These books are well written. The ad tory line flows easily, and although it is a series, each book can be read as a stand alone. All the main characters have their own book with short fill ins about the rest of the characters and how they are connected to the ones in each book

Club Thrive: Deception (The Club Thrive Series Book 3) by Alison Mello is another great read and wonderful addition to this series. Fun, sexy and hot, Allison Mello's Club Thrive books are never a disappointment. Full of drama, passion, action and suspense it's a true winner. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

This is such an awesome book showing that when a man knows the girl he wants he will be a gentleman and wait till she is available and willing to date again. The have a beautiful love connection and the way the author rights this book it makes you feel the love they share! I can't wait to read the next book they are all awesome e books and must reads!!

They say love is blind. That is Kara's relationship with Noah. It was in front of her, she just couldn't see it. Happily, Slade bode his time until Noah messed up enough for Katie to dump his butt. He has been interested in her for a long time, but knew to wait. He is smart, strong, and sexy. The 3 "S"'s a girl can't ignore.

If you haven't read Agenda get on it. That twisty and turny story continues in Kara and Slade's book and its amazing. This series definitely gets you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait to see what this author has to bring next to this series.

This is another great addition to the Club Thrive Series. So if you haven't read the first 3, i would suggest you back track and read them first.

Another great story from the family of Club Thrive. I love each and every one of them. When I finish one I think wow that was great how is the next one going to beat that, and it always does. I feel a part of the family as I read about each couple falling in love. What a great series.

What I liked about this book it tells you about what happened in the books before and some kind of new trouble coming up and showing how family blood or not should act I loves these book and now I want to see what happen next

I love this series so much, I just can't get enough. Each couple grabs my heart and has my emotions on overload. Slade and Kara's story was full of mystery, suspense and loads of sexy times. As always, I love catching up with other couples from the series. This is a must read book and series.

We finally get Kara’s story. Earlier in the series we meet Kara and her sister, Katie in Vendetta. Kara meets Noah during a tragic event and they started dating from there. Noah has been very distant and blowing Kara off, after an evening gone wrong she’s had enough.
Slade has always had an eye for Kara and when he finds out that Noah is out of the picture he makes his move.
When these two connect it is freaking hot and the pages melt away. But of course Noah just isn’t quite ready to let Kara go and things get a little intense. Will Slade be able to keep her safe?
There is a scary twist that had me in tears. And again I love the secondary characters, I have gotten to know them through the series so it’s like a reunion when I get to read about them again. And I have to say that Kara’s parents really stood out more to me, especially her dad. I had some LOL moments. The ending was great and the epilogue even better. I can’t wait to read more from this series. Loved it.
