On July 22, 1991, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested. As the officers searched his apartment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they discovered dismembered body parts in the refrigerator. Further investigation led them to photographs of other victims which Dahmer dismembered. Upon confessing to officers, Dahmer admitted to acts of necrophilia and cannibalism. For the first time in print, Dahmer’s Confession presents the Milwaukee cannibal’s complete confession, raw and uncensored. Jeffrey Dahmer’s inclusion into the Serial Killer Culture is illustrated in the book by including artworks based on Dahmer and writings by those affected by Dahmer’s case and crimes.

UGH

Ok this was a waste of money. It takes less than 2 hours to read.

1) how come I can't read some of the content in the book? I get that they are photo copies of reports, but come on
2) if I wanted to look at pictures or art of Dahmer, I could google it, I don't need it to be half of the book.
3) a lot of the content was just repeating what was already said ... Okay?
4) if I were able to ignore all of the above, the book would still stink. It's the most bare bones information on the Dahmer cases that you could easily find on the internet. I was hoping it would provide more insight into Dahmer's psyche, but no. Not at all. I got more insight from watching his actual interviews.

Full of valuable information. But it’s just scanned images of the police reports. It’s barely a book; it’s just a collection of info that can be found online.

I can’t believe I paid $7.95 for this book. I couldn’t even find a confession in this book - just artist drawings and no real story or timeline of events.... It only took me 1hr to read. Disappointing and a complete waste of money.

True crime is fascinating, but this was something else! Dahmer definitely had a pattern to his crimes. Ask his new found homosexual friend back to his place to have photos taken and watch videos, be intimate, drug him, kill him, then dismember him. Gruesome!!! He would have definitely continued until caught. The police were fortunate that Dahmer wanted to be honest with them. He helped other jurisdictions by denying involvement. There are newspaper articles and other artifacts scattered through the book and at the end there are some artist renderings of Dahmer. Definitely not a book for everyone!

What an excellent resource tool. There’s lots of Dahmer books out there, many that repeat a lot of information we all know. But this volume of Borowski’s, in typical fashion, aggregates resource and reference material which is in its true and unvarnished form, original documents. The chance to read these words in reports and other media is a pure form of obtaining information that is unlike another person’s perspective or production. I love books like this and always appreciate them for their uninterpreted value.

Didnt give more information than is already published in other media. I was expecting more. Its not bad but def nothing special. I also had issues reading the book properly due to bad scanned papers and text. As a dyslexic i was very confused. Maybe transcribing all the papers and have alongside the scanned papers would have been an idea.

It’s definitely interesting, it gives you a lot of information that isn’t well known. It was a good read, it’s just incredibly repetitive which makes sense because it is just arrest statements. But it’s definitely worth a read if you’re into true crime.
