Power makes you blind, they say. What a load of bullshit. Power didn't make me blind. It turned me into a monster.
Well, it turned me into a bigger monster.
Samayan, head of the Council supernaturals, asshole extraordinaire, has made it his life's mission to show me just how strong he has become. I'd lie if I say I'm not scared. And when the one thing that could help me defeat him disappears right from under my nose, I feel like a complete failure.
Running away from problems only to fall right into bigger ones is just the beginning. I'll either die a murderer, or live long enough to be a savior by the time all of this is over.
I love this series and the conclusion is out of this world. Star evolves and brings the others along with her. Aaron and Star are so good at their relationship and it’s a great dynamic.
I was so hooked, I read all 4 in a week!! These books bring you into another world. This author is fantastic at making you feel like you are in the book with the characters!
The Starlight Series culminates in this excellent finale and it is all worth it. I hate spoilers and will post none here, but if you have read three of these captivating books you owe it to yourself to make up four!
The events and characters of this book are in constant flux and you follow them with delight. It all comes to a roiling boil and a happy ending explodes into being. Well done! Great series.
Last book in the series. I was a little disappointed in the ending. I was hoping the author would describe Illyon in more detail, as well as the connection of the book to Star. The ending felt rushed and not enough detail on she discovered her true potential as an Elemental.
