The Non-Technical Founder: How a 16-Year Old Built a Six Figure Software Company Without Writing any Code

Rate this book
Everyone has an idea that they think is the next big thing. The problem is, it's probably an app or software idea and most people probably don't know how to code and their record for managing programmers is little to none. Even if they do know how to code, they're not quite sure how to get their first one thousand customers. The Non-Technical Founder walks readers through the stages of validating whether their next big thing is good, bringing the idea to life, and getting those first customers.

If only we were like this sixteen-year-old who built a six-figure software (and he didn't write code)
He started by making a gaming forum, which personally, what a creative idea.

The author kept the writing style, easy and straightforward to read. The way the book was laid out was a great help, especially when you don't like tight and condensed reads.

He had a great subject all on Free Versions (again wonderful layout and told user-informative stories

"Free and trial versions open your software up to a larger audience, which has the potential to help or harm your brand." This quote came with it, and as a business owner, I couldn't agree more.

Wonderful job!

I didn’t expect to learn so much from a book like this, and by ‘this’ I refer to the technical aspect of the content, but it is very easy to understand. The language is professional yet simple and friendly. Most of the time, Josh’s warnings and tips feel as though I am getting advice from a successful and well-meaning friend. The steps to create and sell software are explained in detail, and multiple options are offered, which gives the reader a better understanding of the process, as well as a broader set of paths to follow. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in being an entrepreneur.

Highly motivational book. The author explains his journey of entering the software world and the obstacles that included, then he went through his blueprint you can follow. He also interviewed 24 experts, which added a lot of value. Highly recommends it.
