Jade Calhoun is back and better than ever. This story pulled me in right away, I couldn’t put the book down. So much happens in this book, I don’t want to give any details away but it will have you wanting more, I know I sure do! I can’t wait to read what happens next!

This book was hard to plod my way through. It was a familiar story line that had repeated several times throughout this series. The big plot twist with Connor was spelled out in the book long before the characters saw it.

I struggled with this Jade story. I did not really care about the main mystery/suspense or Sierra and Conor.

Jade, Pyper, and Kat were trying out samples of wedding cakes at the 6th bakery they had visited. Kat claimed she just wasn’t sure of which cake to choose and slyly suggested that they try a few more bakeries before making such an important decision! Needless to say, they all heartily agreed! She likewise had still not selected her wedding dress and was driving her friends crazy. Thankfully Pyper seemed to be handling the wedding planning far better than Kat.
As if she were a magnet for chaos and confusion, Jade meets an actor and actress, and things begin to go wrong. Her powers aren’t working right, and she is concerned for her unborn baby. What is causing this? Is it a side-effect of the pregnancy? Or is there danger and evil behind it that Jade will have to face?
I loved this book and look forward to the next! You always know there will be adventure and suspense in all the author’s books. The characters become a part of your life and you never know what to expect! I was given a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. My comments reflect my honest opinion.

Jade is back in this eighth installment of the Jade Calhoun series and, as always, lands knee-deep in trouble. Being pregnant is easy, but helping her friends plan their weddings isn’t, or at least Kat’s isn’t. But soon she is distracted with helping two actors on a witchy television show with true witchcraft. However, it isn’t long before things start going south, and Jade loses her natural magical ability while developing other odd abilities, one of the actors is acting funny, and she is worried about her unborn baby. Will Jade find out what’s going on before things really take a turn for the deadly? Wow! This was the best book in the series yet. The other books, of course, were great, but this one just was better. I loved the interactions Jade had with the other characters, especially members of her inner circle; the wedding planning scenes were wonderful. I loved the plot of the book, and it kept me guessing. And, like always, the book was well-written. I can’t wait to read what comes next by Ms. Chase whether it be this series or one of her others! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. Finally! I couldn’t wait for the new Jade book to come out. As always it doesn’t disappoint.
Jade is with child Yay! But that doesn’t stop the madness from happening. When Jade, Pyper and Kat come to the rescue of the actress Sierra who happens to play a witch on tv and is being harassed by an overzealous fan, Jade bites of more than she can chew.
When Sierra enlist Jade to give her some pointers on how to portray an authentic witch on her show, it all goes downhill.
A dragon, messed up powers and a council witch out to frame her, Jade has her work cut out for her.
It was nice to be back in the Jade and Kane universe. I love how the Bea and the coven always have Jades back and especially protective because of the baby.

Jade is back and she's pregnant! Jade's best friends, Pyper and Kat are also back and both women are engaged! Pyper to Julius and Kat to Lucien. Another fun book from Deanna. The women (Pyper, Kat and Jade) from the stories are all getting married and planning their weddings. Jade is pregnant and of course she gets into trouble again and her friends and fiance are there to help. Jade is trying to help an actress that just discovered she has magical powers which you would think would go more smoothly, but not so much. Somehow Jade is connected to the actress's boyfriend who is connected to a dragon. All kinds of mayhem happens and everyone is trying to help Jade and protect her baby. I can't wait for the next edition to the Jade and Pyper books. There are always so many fun characters in her books. I love reading Deanna's books! I voluntarily reviewed this book.

She's PG, wedding planner times two, and enjoying a lull in the evil magic world--not for long. How could consulting for a young star look like a real witch on her TV show ruin all that calm?
With Jade who knows? We do know it's gonna be complicated and all her friends are gonna be there for her. And they are! Kane is worried about her condition and his baby and wife. Her friends are all involved with the wedding planning but always there for her. Then, of course, the council, angels, ghosts and who know what else are gonna make life in New Orleans in danger and only she can save them.
Another wonderful adventure with the whole family of friends and magic will entertain and keep you reading.

Great as always
Ms. Chase is one of the few authors I read outside Kindle Unlimited. It takes a lot of story to tempt me to spend, but she never disappoints. This latest installment certainly was worth the price with non-stop action and a storyline that's a bit different from the usual fare. My only complaint? Semispoiler ahead. Warning. I'm a little tired of stories where the main character is unjustly accused and taken into custody. It merely irritates me. Can we let that tired old trope go? It's not needed. This story had plenty of ups and downs without it. But overall the story delivers a very pleasant read.

Jade and Kane are at it again. Full of action Hexed on Bourbon Street is hard to put down once you start reading, wedding plans a pregnancy, witches, dragons and mayhem. And the best part, is no Jade story is complete without Kat and Pyper. Despite all the chaos surrounding the wedding plans, Jade finds herself in a never ending battle with evil. Out of control magic, mysterious tv actor and actress, something just isn't right. But above all else Jade must keep the baby safe.
I thoroughly enjoy reading Deanna Chase. As always, I look forward to more Jade and Kane in the future! I voluntarily reviewed Hexed on Bourbon Street as an advanced copy from the author.

Dragons!
As always Deanna Chase has delivered another amazing story featuring Jade Calhoun and her gang.
In this story Jade and her husband, Kade, are expecting and also her two best friends are getting married. In a chance encounter with an actress, Jade and friends are invited to the set and and this is where the story starts to become interesting. It all starts with a dragon statue and ends up with a dragon shifter.

The Jade Calhoun series just gets better with each book. Deanna Chase does not disappoint. Jade will never be able to catch a break! Between being pregnant and helping her two best friends plan their weddings, Jade definitely has her hands full. Add on her agreeing to help two TV witches and hearing a random voice no one else seems to hear, she's in for yet another adventure. With the help of her friends and her oh so sexy husband Kane, there's nothing that will stop her from beating the evil forces that want to take her down.

Love
I always love a Jade story! This one was no exception. It only took me a day and a half to read this awesome book. I felt bad for Jade. Being pg and told you can't do something is hard to swallow. She did try her best to stay away from trouble. It juat never plays out that way for her. We find out a lot about the new bundle. It's going to be very interesting to see how Jade and Kane are going to be as parents. It seems they may need a back up. This baby is going to cause havoc. I am waiting to see what's going to happen next

Congratulations Jade & Kane Bk8
It's Congratulations to Jade & Kane in this book. The pitter patter of tiny feet is always happy news but when Jades powers go on the fritts everyone starts getting a little worried.
But life is never dull around Jade.
Between Starlets from a tv show asking Jade & friends for help, to there being an arson attack at Kanes club ,
To the happy couple seeing their very powerful peanut on the ultrasound for the 1st time.

Love the story and the characters, but I really enjoy how Deanna Chase doesn't rely on cannon in any particular topic. She invents new (to me) and interesting approaches which keep the stories fun to read I will recommend your find out what order to read these in along with the Pyper Rayne series. They do overlap and I found out Jade was pregnant before I read Jades book, because Pyper talks to Jade about being pregnant. Not a huge thing at all, it's not like a plot review but I thought I would mention it.

Just when you think you can't be surprised anymore by Deanna Chase and her amazing characters in the Jade Calhoun series; guess what???
Here we are again, mouth agape at every extreme twist and turn that we take on the journey of Hexed on Bourbon Street.
I don't know how it's possible but the writing continues to get better with each book.
I really thought with Jade being pregnant everything would chill out...I was pleasantly surprised to see that wasn't the case.
Jade is still kicking ass and the mysteries continue to be larger than life!!!

This installment of the Jade Calhoun series sparkles brighter than any other thus far. I love the new characters that joined the already fantastic cast. I think I say this with every book, but I'm sure this time I mean it...My new favorite Jade book is here. Kane, as always, stands true and supportive to his lady and keeps her strong. I can't wait to see what their baby will be capable of doing. I couldn't put this one down.

No Continuity
The last book leaves us with Jade telling Kane she's pregnant and Pyper dating Ian. Suddenly in this book Pyper has been dating Jasper for 2 years, but Jade is only 3 months pregnant. I know that Pyper got her own series, but continuity for this series is important as well. Also, Kat is also engage, but suddenly can't make any decisions and is a total flake. All of this made this book seem completely off compared to the rest of the previous books.

The storyline was intrigued but I felt like some of it was repetitive. It was a lot more enjoyable as the story continued. Sierra and Conner are interesting characters. Especially when we first meet Sierra. It has great pacing and I’m especially happy for all of the couples. Can’t wait to see what trouble Jade finds next.

Better
This was probably one of the more interesting books since the first few books.
I did notice with this book that side characters that were more prominent in the earlier books have been dropped to cameo appearance or disappeared altogether. Kind of strange, but I does cut the extra storyline that would happen in the older books in series.
But can't wait to see how this series wrap up.

It's always fun and amusing to see what Jade and Kane is up to. Pregnant and battling a dragon is hard work, especially when you don' know about the dragon. There are times you just can't help but laugh out loud, at the antics. A unique dragon and witches story that keeps you turning the pages until the very end.

Just brilliant it was definitely worth the wait to read about my favourite White Witch and her antics in New Orleans even when pregnant Jade just can't help but find all kinds of trouble but at least she always has handsome hubby Kane to help her out plus Pyper, Kat, Bea, Lucien, Julius and the rest of the coven to make this another awesome Jade Calhoun adventure into the supernatural.

Jade tries to stay out of trouble, lol
Jade is pregnant and trying to just relax, avoid danger, and help Pyper and Kat plan their weddings. That goes about as well as you'd expect. It's fun and exciting and we learn new things about the supernatural world. We learn a bit about Jade's baby, as well :)

Absolute Thrill Ride!
Hexed on Bourbon Street is action filled & romance sweet! It crackled with that edge-of-your-seat intensity that kept me up till the wee hours to finish. Once again Deanna Chase delivers an awesome read!

Awesome story! You have an d excellent story about a witch pregnant. Zane and Jade are expecting but in Jade’s life nothing is quiet. I love the action, romance and humor. There is plenty going on but to tell you much would spoil the story. I look forward to the birth and more, lol! Enjoy!
