This is the first book I’ve felt like I need to leave a review for as I need to steer people clear of it.

I was looking forward to reading a book that could help me unlock my brain, I’m not so deluded that I thought it could make me super intelligent or anything like Sherlock Holmes, just that I might be able to pick up some tips on how to train my brain; memory tricks and things like that.

However, I was presented with lists of things not to do (watch too much TV, eat sugary foods etc) and things I should do (eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, read, exercise).
All of which was full of spelling and grammatical errors. For a book selling the idea of becoming more intelligent you’d think it would have the decency to be written well.

Yes, the information might be helpful to some people who may not have heard it in countless other books before, just don’t expect to come out of it with a mind palace of your own.

No deduction

All this booked talked about was ways to exercise your brain by eating a healthy diet, reading, meditating, sleeping etc all the standard things you would see in a standard google search of how to boost brain power. I admit I skimmed through the book but it was self explanatory and I didn’t see any deduction exercises or even a point of view about deductive logic

Good advice but not revolutionary

Good and positive stuff, but nothing new. Every bit is something I was taught as a kid or read about years or decades ago. I do recommend this book, but YOU first have to have the will and muster up the willpower to change.

Nonsense book

A very basic book with no real knowledge. The title does not go with the book content. Sherlock uses logic and observational power...the book simply focuses on health tips which other similar books can give.

Short and to the point

This book laid out some obvious and not so obvious things about making your brain function better.

The title is a bit misleading as it doesn't actually teach you how to think like Sherlock Holmes, but is a refreshing quick read non-the-least.

Not what i expedited

Good book more of a life change book than an observation and problem solving book, but a good read all the same

Honestly, it was just ok. I mean it was an interesting nonfiction book but I just expected more from it
