The Continuing Adventures of Mark Vincent and Quinton Mann
Can things possibly run smoothly when a CIA spook moves in with a WBIS spy? If they’re Quinton Mann and Mark Vincent, they damned well better had.
Quinn, having resigned from the CIA after the debacle of a covert agent being outed, is now living with Mark. Over the next year and a half, they learn to navigate the seas of their relationship together, dealing with a death in the family and Quinn’s new career as a writer, while friends from Mark’s previous life reach out for help and the CIA tries to get Quinn back.
OHMYGOODNESS OHMYGOODNESS OHMYGOODNESS ... HOW did I NOT know this was being released??!!?? WHOOOOOHOOO!! The minute I saw this, I cyber-ran to Amazon and clickety clicked on the "1-click" button :-)!! Easiest purchase ever!! Keep 'em coming, Tinnean :-)!!
I’ve been in love with Mark and Quinn for years now, along with all the accompanying stories in their world. As this story begins, Mark has finally recovered from his injuries and Quinn is happily cohabiting In the condo while Mann Manor is renovated. Honestly, there’s not much going on through this that’s terribly exciting, it’s not perfect but is faithful to the author’s style. I do miss seeing Mark and Quinn practicing their craft out in the field. However, there seems to be some setup for future events, plus a little action for Quinn as he visits Spike and Paul, and we catch up with the rest of Quinn’s family. The main theme though, is Mark and Quinn tying the knot!
The narrative doesn’t have the overlapping POV’s like the earliest books but we still get alternating views. There’s a number of loose ends that will continue in another volume, I’m sure. It does get a tad frustrating with the many tangents that spring from this saga. There’s a very intricate story arc running through the majority of the authors stories. But I will faithfully follow Mark and Quinn for as long as it takes and Mark is going to be my book boyfriend forever, regardless. I’d highly recommend the three book Spy vs. Spook series at the very least and experience the start of their story, a very sexy enemies to lovers tale. If you fall in love, then follow this series but don’t miss out on the related volumes. Tinnean has a marvelous talent and this is one of the most unique and engrossing series I’ve ever read.
I really like following Mark and Quinn. Tinnean has a unique writing style that I do appreciate and enjoy.
I really, really love how dedicated and loyal Mark is to Quinn. Quinn is his top priority always and Mark doesn't question or struggle with what his heart says. He just accepts that this is the way it is, loves Quinn and then makes his life around that as he goes.
I was a little frustrated with the end of this book. I know this is a continuing saga but I didn't expect it to end when it did.
LOVED this! I can't get enough Quinn and Mark. This instalment spans around 18 months in the lives of our two Macs with some MAJOR occurrences. I won't spoil anything, but needless to say there is both love and loss in this, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
This was a super surprise in two ways: First, Tinnean's publishers once again failed to warn us this was coming--it simply appeared and another reader posted a notice to us all; second, the plot is completely and totally devoid of what you would come to expect in a book that follows the exploits of Mark and Quinton. No spoilers.
It's 2003 and Mark Vincent, who's 38, and Quinton Mann, who's 41, are ensconced in a relationship that is coming together every day in ways neither of them expected, or hoped, would ever happen. Living together, planning to move into a newly renovated home on the Mann estate, dealing with the sudden death of a Mann "family member," these two rebound nicely from Quinn's sudden but solid resignation from the CIA to pursue other interests. Their own.
Told in alternating sections (not chapters) by both of them, what Tinnean has placed before us is a love feast and festival of all kinds as these two special men flit in and out of the lives of many of the characters we have come to meet, love (or hate) in the previous tomes. At the same time they float through their relationship in a world which suddenly allows them to complete their bond almost as an afterthought. But such a sweet one.
We all thought, no doubt, that this is the end of their story. Then as she always does, Tinnean throws us a curve in the final chapter by introducing a new character and abruptly ends the book. Thanks a lot. Now I have to keep an eye out for the next one. Meanwhile, get this one if you're already hooked on Mark and Quinn, or start the series if you haven't read it. Super and sweet.
One more amazing addition to Mann of my dreams-series! As a hardcore Mark and Quinn fan this book made me just melt! Big thanks to Tinnean for giving us this wonderful story! I can't wait for more!
It is 9:44 pm... and I am jumping right into the next book! It is late, you might say! You need to finish loading the dishwasher and run it, you might say! You aren't as young as you used to be and you need your rest, you might say... BUT, I say... I HAVE NO CHOICE, I must carry on! No one in their right mind could read that last chapter and just roll over and go to sleep!!! *headdesk* LOL!!!
This whole "looking back to the past" thing has me remembering little snippets of information that I didn't even realize I had retained, but it sure can be as annoying as hell at times... but, I really don't care anymore! I just love that I am getting new insights into the whole romance that is "Mark and Quinn"!!!
I love Mark and Quinn and I like the Tinnean's style but this story is too slow, flat in some point, missing of some excitement and actions and with too repetitions. Mark and Quinn relationship is more sweet and always so hot but I didn't see what the blurb promised : a lot of things but put one after other without rhythm.I know that this series is more Mark's talking of his life with Quinn ,but from this book I was aspecting more ; one exasample for all, is been more moving Theo's wedding than that of our magic couple.
I am a big fan of the Mark and Quinn series. The romance is steamy and the adventures exciting. I always look forward to the next installment. I am especially looking forward to Mark's cousins story and more with his "family". I will be waiting for book 5.
I'm not sure what to feel about this book, it was sweet of course. They are all sweet. And we get to see their relationship develop in to a marriage. Though even with the laughs you have when reading, it fails to give the thrills some of the other books have. It spans over a year and a half, though what happens in that time could have been delved in to in a better way.
It seems she got a bit lost on the way, as several things that have been hinted at in the previous books, and occupied me plenty in hopes of it beings revealed, only got a quick mention.
Like Tony and Bryan, it was only mentioned in a remark and I almost missed it, Rayne's parents was left with a sentence after being a thing of mystery and denying us the thrill of being flies on the wall when it was revealed. Another piece I found very much lacking, was the story of the the false editor and what the basket had contained.
Also the suspense moments, weren't filled with suspense, mainly because it all goes so smoothly and by now you just expect things to work out that way.
It does feel like she have lost some of the spark for the spy vs spook and decided on daytime romance instead.
Of all the books in the series, this one deserves the romance title the most. It’s sappy and dreamy and it’s a lovely happy end for our two heroes. The contrast from beginning is especially noticeable here, since they are in established relationship, they already cleared the hurdles facing them and now they are settling to enjoy the rest of their lives. It’s unashamed piece of fluff, with their family and friends playing prominent roles. There is a lot of difference in both characters, as Quinn, once known as Ice Man, is comfortable in his relationship with Mark and the direction his life has taken. Mark is also softer – being with Quinn dulled his edges and made him less hesitant to show people in his life he cares. It’s happy and relaxing read.
I received copy of this book in exchange for review. The review is also posted on MM Good Book Reviews

I love catching up with Quinn and Mark. I've been following these characters for years. Every time I read one of their stories, it's like visiting great friends.
Another nice story about Mark Vincent and Quint Mann in the Spook vs Spy/Mann of my dreams series. I love this series, not sure why, Tinnean has a strange almost herky jerky awkward writing style that is inelegant yet endearing to read. I enjoy her stories and characters, but never feel fully enveloped into the plot. I have read all all this series and will continue to be a fan, but they are not on my "must but release day list". (ps, am I the only one who feels that m/m authors....Tinnean and Etienne have the same sort of writing style?) Enjoy and am a fan of both.
Be still my heart! I'm so glad there are more books out about Mark and Quinn - if you haven't read the "Spy vs. Spook" series yet, you should (absolutely should) read it before this series.
I also suggest the "Light in Your Eye" series right after the Spy series, before this one. It's about Theo and Matheson and is well worth it.
