The best part about this book is the pictures. Brilliant pictures of all sorts of amazing insects, many of which I have never seen. The text itself is well written and informative, if a bit dry at points. Not a textbook, but a easy reading book for those casually interested in insects. Written in the 1990s, this book is a bit dated by now, but still fascinating.
