There’s starting to be a bit of a hint of a plot but otherwise it’s like the previous volume where it’s a light read with minimal plot and mostly fluff and every day life of the hero and heroine...except compared to the previous volume this book is super smutty (like there is literally smut in every chapter) and what can i say? I love my trash so obviously this ranks high for me especially since the main guy is shaping up to be even more of the “rigid stone-faced gentleman on the streets, perv in the sheets” type hahaha
I also like that there’s no unnecessary misunderstanding because when something comes up it usually gets resolved pretty quickly between the heroine and the male lead.
also still have to love that this writer, like with to be a virtuous wife’s writer, continues to not have unnecessary antagonism between female characters and have a variety of female characters both positive and negative and not just mindless antagonists.
That said I miss the heroine’s family. I miss reading about her dad and stepmom’s antics and worry over her.
