I was pleasantly surprised....
I was very pleasantly surprised , with the amount of depth and character these characters and this story had,and while I've certainly learned that w/ppl as well w/books not to judge by covers, usually when your cheaper books look like that might be all sex and little content (especially where menage and the ever increasingly popular reverse harem ) are concerned it's usually true....
And while I'm soo very grateful about the unexpected amount of depth and story I found for me that was both a blessing and a curse....
A blessing because you rarely want a shallow story ,unless your in a rare mood where all your wanting is a bit of hot sex while your aaaaaaaa, engaging in other activities so we say, otherwise you want a story to get lost in, to take you out of your head and away from your norm and w/a menage to explore your fantasies , and while we got some here ? We soo due not get enough, we got to interesting men in Deuce and Hammer, a smart and engaging heroine in Ember ( Ember ? Really ? Ember ? For a woman whose whole world ALMOST ,almost revolves around firefighters , w/Father,work, and romance you had to name her Ember ? Even her name is associated w/fire ? And yet oddly I don't think anyone ever commented on that ) and interesting back ground characters and storylines and yet, nothing fit the attention it truly needed or deserved...
The MC's never really spend time together where sex isn't involved except for a few "Hey, what are you doing here ?" "Who are you again ?" Kinda things at the beginning, we didn't get to know the kids,always off somewhere or sleeping, or the other members of the family , we never got to see the H's getting to know the h, some angst over problems and issues but most of the resolution was done either quickly of off page...
I would have liked a bit of a slow build after the initial meeting,(which is a brief hook up for the 3as yo know) ,sure they had to be secret but a picnic on the ranch or a date out of town would have worked, something other that just sex...
Then after the climactic ending where a final issue is resolved and their uncertain relationship is outed to everyone, we then jump to the conclusion where the HEA can't feel anything but rushed...
One minute Deuce isn't sure their relationship w/Ember has a future , then the climax hits then the HEA where suddenly time has passed and she's being asked that question we all want a romance book to end w/then sex and its over ...
And I was left going ,aaaaa What now ?
No thoughts mor questions or soul searching or nothing just one minute we aren't sure what we are and next, will move and Blank both of us ? I need to see how they got there and personally I don't like it when right after the become a couple or what ever these 3 are and it's over , if we never really get to see them live and act as a couple ,it really feels more like a happy for now...
Conclusion ,while I'd happily recommend this book either a buy for 99 cents or on KU ,it just doesn't out quite enough for me on the sex versus story scale ...
Decent story but not enough of it and the MC's only ever seem to be together when sex is involved....

A steamy ménage with 2 firefighter's who also happen to be single dads that have moved thousands of miles to get a new start at Hammer's family ranch and new jobs at the local fire station. Hammer & Deuce's first meeting with Ember is one of desire and steam but also a one time thing...so they all think. Not only does she work at the fire station, her dad's the chief and she lives next door to Hammer's ranch. Trying to keep their secret as well as their desire's can only last for so long until it all comes to head. They just have to keep it a secret....
A great steamy ménage that was done beautifully and sensually between them & the story was not all about their ménages, there was more to their story than the hook ups...which was refreshing and great. We get to learn all about Hammer, his siblings, what's going on at the ranch and the problems he's facing, so there's more to him than just part of a ménage and being a firefighter. Deuce is the same but he's dealing with a crazy ex wife and protecting his daughter. Ember is trying to get a transfer out of the station her dad's the chief, works part-time at a bakery but also has aspirations of owning her own business while trying to fight and hide her feelings for the two men.
A read with a few things going on including some suspense that held my interest till the end. I was hoping for more of a conclusion with how Ember's dad reacted to everything especially towards the two men and wanting to see how it all works out for them a few years down the line, if Ember gets her business up and running and how they all cope together. Otherwise a ménage read with a lot more to the story and perfect for when you need a bit of steam with a great story behind it.

Imagine two firefighters living next door to you. There hot and handsome. Beside there single father's raising their own children. Relocating to start a new life in Reno, Nevada. Deuce and Hammer have a history of being friends. And they don't mind sharing their women. Deuce and Hammer stop by to have lunch with there family. They meet Ember she is stopping by to deliver baked goods. They notice on her wrist she is wearing a bracelet spelling play. They know what the word meaning. Ember also agrees to have some fun. The chemistry between them begins to sparks. As the story progresses Deuce and Hammer find outs. Ember is the daughter of the chief. They Know she is off limits. They will risks everything even there jobs to be with her. The storyline flow naturally. The characters have a magnetic pull from the beginning of the story as you reached the ended. They will make you laugh, get mad at them. I like the part were Ember expresses on how she see Deuce and Hammer. they're good guys, admirable family men. She is also willing to risk it all to be with them. I dislike Jameson. I highly recommend this book. It deserves more than five stars. I voluntarily review an advanced copy of this book

🔥 Lots of fires to put out in this story, but thankfully not the attraction between these 3!
I received an Advance Reader Copy for Two Firefighters Next Door written by Jay S Wilder and voluntarily reviewed this book. Family is important to Hammer and Deuce. That's why they both willingly uprooted and moved the whole kit and kaboodle to their old family homestead to take over the cattle ranch. One bright moment during their long journey to Reno was meeting a riveting and hot woman named Ember, who was clearly up for a very discreet bit of playtime with them, having found something in common with her the moment they drew close. It was not until later, however, when their lives kept crossing with Ember that they realized that there was a lot at stake here...but something they believed was worth going for. While things were heating up on the cattle ranch as they all settled into their new homes and jobs, things likewise heated up in their private lives. They just needed to keep their attraction in control and from spilling over into the firehouse! Enjoyed the storyline and the characters, with a little bit of drama thrown in!

Hammer and Deuce are two firefighters who are also single dads. Family is very important to them both which is why they moved thousands of miles to get a new start at Hammer's family ranch and for them to start working as firefighters at the local fire station. They meet Ember and they both want her-she is this sweet, sexy lil thing who brightens up their life. What they don’t know is she is the chief’s daughter. They cannot start a relationship that could cause trouble with their jobs—and trust me, there is someone that doesn’t want to see their relationship work at all. This story has action, romance, suspense with a fast paced storyline full of alpha males and sassy female. I enjoyed the pace and the story, wish the children were featured more in the story and that the story was wrapped up really fast at the end. I would have liked the epilogue to show how Deuce, Hammer & Ember after the story ended. Overall, this was a good story and I look forward to seeing what Jay S Wilder has next.

This story is hot and sexy! The story held my attention, it was well written by Jay S. Wilder, and it will keep you glued to the pages to find out how they doubled the heat. Hammer and Deuce are best friends, single fathers, and firefighters that are very handsome and sexy as hell!! Ember is the fire chief’s daughter, who is off limits, but when Hammer and Deuce meets her, they both want to share her. There is some sizzling chemistry that is off-the-chart hot!! From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with. The momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more that you can’t put it down. Ember definitely doubled her pleasure and doubled her fun with Hammer and Deuce. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow! What could be better than one hot and sexy fireman? Well, two of course. This book was one hot and steamy read. I loved the chemistry between Hammer, Deuce and Ember. This book was well written and definitely all about the woman of the story. Lets not forget about those babies.The fact that Ember is the fire chief's daughter as she lives next door to Hammer's ranch just adds to the thrill of it all. Can they keep their relationship a secret? Will they be able to find acceptance for the life they choose to live? I really enjoyed this story and could not put it down at times. Though I had to. Great HEA! Can not wait to read another great book by Jay.

Two Firefighters
This stared out a great book with the menage which was really great. It was interesting and you never thought the ending would be what it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing......but then we moved into the next book. It wasn't a menage story but an action, detective, and interesting story that kept you in the edge wondering what was going to happen next. It had some confusing moments but read a little farther and everything became clear. It was a love story, in the end, spanning several years. The whole story came together with some uncharacteristic times but on the whole a very enjoyable book. This is one that will be added to my library to re-read over and over.

Wow!! Jay S Wilder this book was worth the wait!!! The pages seriously seemed to be turning themselves it was that good. And hot!!!! With two firefighters you know it had to be scorching! This is one hot book that you’ll read until finished. Two best friends Deauce and Hammer have recently moved to Reno and they are sexy built firefighters! Deauce left a Ex and all her issues. They meet Ember and they have to have here and they do. She is wearing a unique breaclet and know what it means and Ember can’t believe they do. Ember has known all about firefighters her whole life as she is the chiefs daughter. The guys did not know that, will they be in some hot trouble? There are some really hot sex scenes along with a great story and characters. I received an arc and I am leaving a voluntarily review.

This was a great quick steamy ménage story. Two firefighters who are moving from Texas who are also single dad's. One fire chief's daughter who has a naughty side and big dreams for her life. Mix them together and you get a great quick read with a HEA. Unlike alot of the ménage stories that I have come across lately this one had a really great story line and left room for a few break off stories to go with it. I did feel there were things that happened in the story that should have been worked out in the story line rather than skipping ahead in time a bit, and that the last few chapters should have contained alot more about them but all in all it was a great read.

Fireman / Cowboys / Alpha Protectors / Single Dads with a hot all about the women M/F/M romance. What's not to love?
IMO this book is the perfect mash-up of fun, mystery, and heart!
Deuce and Hammer are so great separately, but together they are #swoonworthy

Hammer and Deuce are two hot firefighter dads who meet Ember, and they're both immediately drawn to her. What is that pendant she's wearing? After a smokin' hot interlude, they're both ready to have her again. But it turns out she's the chief's daughter, and completely off limits Can they keep their relationship a secret? And what happens when someone threatens to reveal everything? This MFM was sexy and explosive, and there was some action and suspense along the way. I loved these sexy hot firemen!

This was a romantic story about figuring out what you want and never letting it go. What is supposed to be a no strings attached ménage between Ember, Hammer and Deuce turn into so much more when it turns out they work together. But will the threat of the job keep the three apart or will the relationship become more than what any of them ever thought could be? With great characters and a storyline that had loads of twists and turns this is a great book that should not be missed.

This book is amazing. I absolutely love Jay’s writing. He sucks you in from page one until the last page. I devoured this book in one sitting. I love a book that can get me hooked and also be thinking about it a few days later. This book had everything. Two hot firemen and a sexy woman to share. This book is well written and well developed. Jay is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Well done Jay! Keep these books coming, I will read them all. Highly recommend!

I Loved this MFM book,lots of action,secrets and hot and sexy scenes.Hammer and Deuce and very Alpha and have their sights on the forbidden Ember the Chiefs daughter and cannot break the code of the family of the firehouse.The writing and plot was fantastic and I couldn't put it down and it was easy to read.Jay S Wilder certainly delivers us one book of hotness and I highly recommend it.I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book

Hot, steamy read that will have you glued to your kindle. Hammer & Deuce meet Ember and instantly want to claim her but what they don’t realize is she is the fire chief’s daughter and her father is their boss. If the secret gets out it could ruin them all, but to them it’s worth it, but someone wants to ruin what they have. Great story and I love Deuce, Hammer & Ember.

It's alright
This is a very complex group of characters. The family is very dedicated to each other and their willingness to pack up and move to Reno shows that. There seems to be a great bond between the brothers. The guys each have kids that are barely mentioned and one has crazy ex who shows up at the worst time. The whole story wraps up in the epilogue and it just felt like something was missing from the story as I read this book.

OMG!! I love this one! Hammer and Deuce are best friends, fellow firefighters and single fathers. Ember is the daughter of their new boss, secret sex club member and the one girl they should stay away from but can't. The characters are well written and developed. This is a fun, hot and quick read that was hard to put down. I really enjoyed this read. Would so recommend this one. Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait to read more from you soon.

Wow! Not just one sexy firefighter, but there are two sexy firefighters. If that is not hot enough, add in that they are both single fathers, and are members of a very secretive, national menage sex club, I can feel the hotness. Also, this is a well written story, that sucks you into it. I could not put it down. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it. It is too good to just put on your TBR. It should be one clicked.

The story of Ember, Deuce and Hammer will definitely keep you reading into the night, with a crazy ex, an over protective father and a few little children thrown into the mix to keep you attention. Hammer and Deuce are the firefighters transferred into the fire station that Embers father is the fire chief of. The book is a truly steamy read with a fantastic back story. Love loved loved this five star read.

Two Firefighters Next Door is the first book that I have read by this author and it was a pretty hot book to read! I shouldn’t have been surprised when it ended @ 41% because there is a note for a limited time that this book has another whole book to read as a Bonus Story – Protection - A Military Bad Boy Romance.
Two Firefighters Next Door is a ménage romance MFM genre and I enjoyed reading Hammer & Deuce’s story and Ember sure is a lucky girl! I give this book 4 sexy stars.

Ember is one f*cking lucky woman. I have to admit, the story didn’t go as I had suspected it would, which is a nice surprise. It's nice to entertain a different outcome for the characters than what I was expecting. Truly an interesting read. It’s definitely worth the read!

A real hot number..
Jay S. Wilder once again makes our panties wet with Two Firefighters Next Door. It draws you in from the very start and will have you reading clear to the very last page without putting it down. Jay is an incredible author and I always look forward to reading what comes next.

Two hot and sexy firefighters. What’s not to love! It’s full of action, drama and steamy romance. It will suck you in from the beginning. The connection and chemistry between the characters is hot and steamy. What an entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
