Blurb:
Chase, I need you. Please come. ~ Teagan

Something inside me snapped as her text message screamed from my phone. My heart started pumping and I was sucked into a vortex of emotion; pulled unwillingly into a past I desperately tried to forget.

Teagan Tessler was the love of my life. My professional soccer career was a big part of the future we planned together but an offer a year ahead of schedule sent me to London. Just months after I left, Teagan betrayed me with my best friend, and without an explanation, I was completely and utterly destroyed.

Six years later, I could breathe again and my professional and personal life was in a good place. I'd have to be insane to consider ripping open those old wounds again, but whatever it was she needed, it had to be huge.

The truth of my feelings resonated; I should shut off the phone and forget her forever, but my traitorous heart told me to get on a plane... no questions asked.

From USA Today bestselling author, Kahlen Aymes, Trading Yesterday is a roller coaster of emotion; ultimate loss, longing, betrayal and forgiveness that will restore your faith in unconditional love and leave you gasping for more.

Nope can't forgive this weak pathetic heroine who let another man raised the hero's daughter. Her reasons for not telling him that she was pregnant with his child are stupid. And only because her child is sick she called the hero because she needed his bone marrow or else she wouldn't have bother telling him.
Hero has not been celibate.

Sometimes we keep secrets thinking it is best for the other person, but it is never a good idea.

I just love me some Kahlen Aymes and I was soo excited when I seen she had wrote a new book. OMG this book grabbed me from the very beginning. I could tell I was absolutely going to have the feels while reading and I most certainly did throughout the book. I sooo fell in love with this story.

Teagan kept a huge secret, like a massive secret that happened in her teenage years. She let him think she did something to break his heart so he would leave and wouldn't make the wrong choice by staying with her, she wanted him to move on so he could make his life better.

"My dad always said hindsight was 20/20 but it didn't do anyone any good to think about what might have been, or what should have been. I'd wanted to make it right a million times in the years since, but how?"

Six years she kept this secret, but this secret had to be told now. It was between life and death. She had to choose life and put her big girl panties on and suffer the consequences of keeping this secret all of these years.

So now you need to pick up this beautiful, heartfelt, and oooohhhh sooo smoken HAWT romance to find out what the secret is and if he accepts her back into his graces. I just loved it!! I gave Trading Yesterday 5 iScream Cones!

Can I please give this book more then 5☆!!! To say I loved this book would be a understatement. I loved Chase so dang much from the beginning. My heart broke for him when he found out about his daughter. Every time Remi would say mean medicine and lukey had me on the verge of tears. There was one point I was balling and had to set the book down and calm down. I think I started crying in chapter one and didn't stop til after chapter 3 and was crying again through out the book. Everyone go get this book I couldn't put it down, I stayed up half the night, I had to know what was going to happen.

An unforgettable tale of pain, suffering and salvation!

This story totally swept me away. Whether it was from the pain a suffering experienced by the family in this story as they watched their child suffer the indiscriminate cruelness of leukaemia or the fact that two people who clearly loved each other were separated only to be reunited, at a time when the future was so uncertain, this story ruined me, but in a way that only a well-written book and a beautiful story can do!

I remember a friend telling me that I had to read Kahlen Aymes books, and me being me, said: “yeah, sure, when I get chance”. Now, after finishing Trading Yesterday, I can see why she was so vocal about her recommendation. As an avid reader, I find it rare these days to find a book which is unique in its approach, writing style and storyline and that’s exactly what Trading Yesterday was for me. It was refreshing and captivating.

We briefly meet the key characters, Teagan and Chase, after Chase is approached to transfer football (or soccer, if you prefer) clubs to the UK when an offer from Arsenal comes in. Despite his love for Teagan, this is a chance that he can’t decline but feels torn, especially as Teagan has college to finish and can’t immediately travel with him. Despite his reservations, he travels to the UK but unbeknownst to him, Teagan is withholding something of great importance from him.

The story then jumps forward 6 years. Chase is still playing football (soccer) in the UK but Teagan is living her life without Chase and is now married to Jensen, their best friend, and raising a daughter. When Chase receives a desperate message from Teagan, he immediately travels to the US curious as to why, after all of this time, she needs him when she turned her back on him and their love so many years before.

When Chase arrives on home soil, he’s stunned at what Teagan reveals and so part two of their story commences with Chase trying to come to terms with why Teagan withheld what she has, until now. From their immediate reconnection, it’s apparent that Teagan and Chase’s previous emotional bond is still one and the same. Their love is unrivalled and unchallenged and yet they have both threw away their fairytale ending for reasons which become known as the story progresses.

Whilst not wanting to reveal the basis of the story, I can tell you that the essence is powerful, it will challenge your perception of right and wrong. You will be drawn into the story without remorse and you will feel the pain experienced by the characters. You will laugh and cry and hope and pray and the frustration you will experience will be tangible. All of the characters in this story are loveable and I can’t wait to read Jensen’s story when it is written. My only stumbling block in this story is in relation to the football terminology but that’s beyond minor especially alongside such a poignant love story.

This is a highly recommended book and even, if you’re like me, you prefer to give angsty reads a wide berth, you will still thoroughly enjoy this story and what it has to offer in so many different ways.

This story... I finished it on Sunday and had to take a while to recover from this epic love story before I could write this review. I still don't think I'm doing it justice, but I will try.
Trading Yesterday consumed me in the best way possible. I was hooked from the prologue, thinking it was going to be their sweet, but rough love story, but boy was I so wrong! It was so much more. Teagan and Chase were college sweethearts. They were deeply in love and nothing was going to keep them a part. Even Chase's offer to play soccer for Arsenal in London. Miscommunication, fear of ruining Chase's dream, and letting go someone you love so they can live their dream made things go to hell.
Six years pass by and Teagan is forced to ask for Chase's help. He hit rock bottom when he lost Teagan and her calling for his help should make him want to tell her to eff off, but he still loves her deeply and before he realizes it he's on a plane to help her.
He's angry, Teagan is scared for many reasons, and it's just an emotional mess. Especially when he finds out why she desperately needs his help. I don't want to spoil anything for you so I am being vague. It's for the best, trust me on this.
This entire story, the characters, the events that unfold, the deep love between Teagan and Chase, the love triangle, the tiny little thing that keeps them all together, the lies, the betrayal, and hot sex, it comes together to make the most epic love story and second chance romance I think I have ever read.
It's brilliantly written and will captivate you. Take a day off from life and let this book consume you. I cried happy tears, sad tears, frustrated tears. I wanted to seriously harm a character once or twice, and the ending... Definitely one of the best and sweetest HEAs I've ever read. This is a book that deserves 10 stars and that's no exaggeration. I cannot recommend this book enough. Pick it up today, thank me later!!

Get your tissues ready. This book has it all. Tears of sadness, tears of heartbreak, tears of joy and tears of happiness. The best Kahlen Aymes has ever written; and that is saying a lot with all of her amazing stories. You will absolutely fall in love with Remi.

Sometimes we think we are doing the right thing at a certain time in our lives. At the time it seems right but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way. Teagan thought she was doing right when she withheld the fact that she was pregnant when Chase was offered to play soccer in England. He was living his dream and she could not take that away from him. Had he known about the baby would he have still went?

Now 6 years later he her last hope to save their daughter. He is furious when he finds out about Remi, Why did Teagan not tell him about her? But even with all the hurt, anger and betrayal he felt, he still loved her with all his heart. No one would ever compare to her. He still loved her as he did 6 years ago. She has always loved him. Their love was a love that will stand the test of time and live on forever. One thing he was amazed to realized is that she never hid him from Remi. When he first meets her in the hospital she calls him "Daddy" and knows exactly who he is. Teague may have hidden Remi from him but she did not hide him from Remi. His name is on her birth certificate. So why is she married to his best friend and why is he only now finding out about Remi?

This story will have you glued to the pages from the first to the last. And tissues???? Bring in the boxes you will need them. There are tears of sadness, heartbreak, and tears of joy and happiness. A book that should be on every TBR list. A story you don't want to miss. Absolutely incredible.

I am a big fan of Kahlen Aymes and love all of her books and this one did not disappoint.
When young love is separated by a once in a lifetime opportunity and an ocean, can it survive? When Chase finds out the love of his life betrayed him with his best friend and got married after he left, he was broken. He wanted nothing to do with either of them, until 6 years later when Teagan leaves him a message that she needs him right away. He drops everything and heads back to the states. What he finds out when he talks to Teagan is almost more than he can handle. This is THE perfect love story! Be sure to have your tissues handy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this book deserves it.

** wow this book got me so emotional. Actually loved most of it but some parts not so much. I initially gave 4* then dropped to 3* because though I understood the circumstances (h/om,friend was going to get divorced) the H did not know this and still slept with h so to me that was cheating. The whole misunderstanding was totally avoidable to me as well had they only talked to the H! I hated that the h and H's former bff kept his child from him even when she first got critically ill!! No excuses good enough---for 6 whole years. She almost died and he would not have known about her - just so he could live his dream to play ball??? No excuse good enough, agree with H. I cant figure out why neither h or friend did not reach out to the H in 6 whole yrs to let him know about his daughter especially when she was ill?? Not sure I would have forgiven so quickly.
Loved that H even though he became popular did not become a manho or player, in fact only started dating ow just the year before and didnt love her (some drama with ow adding to the break up years before they became intimate).

I hated that the h was a constantly weeping mess!! and not just because her child was sick, thats understandable, she made stupid mistakes and was so apologetic and weeping about this constantly which really was her own stupid fault. I dont blame the H for being so mad at both her and his bff whatsoever, and I agree it would seem friend wanted h as more than friend. I'm surprise the H forgave her so quickly but I think the miracle was Remi (daughter). Everyone should have a little Remi. She was the miracle that pulled everyone together and made the book even better.

I did love that little girl so much, I could feel her character coming thru the book - I think the Author must have or know a little Remi in her life, she was that real and she made the book for me. Was sad to see it end so dispite some triggers I really really loved this book . Really hope Jensen (om) gets his own HEA.

Trading Yesterday.             5*

Kahlen Aymes.          15/11/17

Oh my flipping goodness!! I think Chase has overtaken Ryan. 😱

This was a beautifully written story, and just the thing for a 10 hour plane ride!

I knew it was going to be emotional, after the short story, from the love anthology.

Apart from a couple of comfort breaks, I read this in one go! And now I'm a hot mess, I have a stuffy nose and there has been some weird leakage from my eyes.

I absolutely loved Chase and Teagen, from the short story, this grew into an amazing un-put-downable story.

A second chance story, with secrets, to crack the toughest of hearts.

The love story was beautifully told with all the other characters playing an integral part, not forgetting Remi, a sweet, full of life, little girl, going through some tough stuff, but still manages to stay up beat.

As hard as it was, finding out about Remi, Chase and Teagen had a ton of feelings to deal with, I even warmed to Jensen, siding with Chase at first too! I was so happy that Jensen and Chase were able to get over the hardship and get their friendship back on track.

I despised Bronwyn, and would like to say we British girls are not at all like her, but maybe I might be biased! She was despicable and as her insecurity unfolded you just knew she had more to say. Karma is a sweet b*tch, and I believe Bronwyn got what was coming to her.

I am so pleased that 2nd chances can work out how they are supposed to! And everyone involved got to really shine throughout the book.

The pages kept turning, with my fingers crossed for all the wrongs to be righted.

A lovely story, great page turner, with 2nd chances and big secrets and a wonderfully humble family at its heart.

I am ashamed to admit Chase as knocked Ryan into 2nd place as favourite book boyfriend!

Can't wait to see how Jensen's story unfolds in his book next.

3.5 to 4 Wavering Stars!

Trading Yesterday is my first book by this author, however after reading the blurb I was hooked and knew I had to read this!!

Teagan and Chase had a once in a lifetime kind of love until life, misunderstandings, and broken hearts happened. After six years Chase gets a phone call that Teagan needs him. Despite still being broken hearted and angry, he has no choice but to go.

Tegan needs Chase now more than ever, not that she ever really quit needing him. However, 6 years and lots of secrets stand in between them.

This is a story of second chances and the one who got away, but there is just so much MORE, but I don't want to give anything away.

This is an angst filled book with that once in a life time forever kind of love with all the tension you can feel coming off the pages in waves!

I really battled how to rate this. I was honestly hooked from the first page! I couldn't put this book down, it was just the kind of story I had been looking for, until it wasn't .

Don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT story, it just doesn't continue as great as it initially started. This is over a 500 page book, that truly should have been closer to three hundred. The story is great. The characters are great. There is an instant connection with the story. However, I feel like the middle of the book, I could have been reading the same page over and over again for about 200 pages. The h and H are fighting their feelings, they are both dealing with the issues of the past. The h cries on every single page... i don't begrudge her that there is a lot going on... but it just got a little old. I felt like it was the same conversations, the same thoughts, the same emotions, the same arguments over and over and over again (I felt like it was ground hog day).

That being said, this is still a great, incredibly emotional story. I would recommend it, just be prepared for the middle.

.

Reading this book was like taking a closer look to a mother's struggle when her child is on the brink of death. I don't have a child, but the author made me feel Teagan's emotions as a mother; it's powerful and painful at the same time.

Misunderstanding, lack of communication, and external factors influenced their decisions.
For me, they all had a hand on what happened in the past. But yes, Teagan (h) should've told Chase (H) about their daughter Remi, if not earlier then at least the moment their child was diagnosed with the big C. As much as I disagree h's choices, I still have the most sympathy for her.

I also wish Bronwyn (H's gf) got her comeuppance for the years of troubles she caused! The b!tch got off wayyy too easy.
Grrr😒

〰️〰️

Safe?
▪️ Cheating H/h on OW(H's gf)/ OM(H's former bestfriend and h's husband).
I'm sensitive with cheating.. but I'm not really bothered with the MCs cheating on this book.
> h and OM-husband's marriage was just more on friendship and companionship. They've talked of divorce 3 yrs prior but it was overshadowed when Remi was diagnosed.
> H's gf(OW) was a manipulative witch and pushy despite H's insistence on boundaries.
▪️ Once reunited, H/h intimate with each other only.
▪️ Explicit scenes of H/h only.

▪️ Leukemia, H/h's child.
This baby made me cry so much!! 😭
I'm happy she got her daddy's marrow. 🤧

I don't think words can convey my feelings that this book deserves. Trading yesterday is wonderfully written, beautiful, totally soul shattering and breathtakingly to read.
The journey which this story takes you on is nothing less than amazing.
There were many tears shed whilst reading this book I virtually couldn't see the words, tissue's were strewn around me, my heart shattered into tiny pieces. I was on a roller coaster ride with so many emotions sadness, angry, loss, heart broken and happiness.
I love all the characters and you can't help but fall in love with them and follow their journey. I don't think I'll ever get over this book. This book is one that will stay close to my heart forever.

I enjoyed Trading Yesterday and really liked the writing too.

But...

Teagan made a tremendous mistake by keeping a secret from Chase for 6 years and her excuses, quite frankly, weren't good enough. That didn't turn me off from the story, though. What became a bit annoying was her constant crying; the girl was a crying mess at every turn. I also didn't like how much she pressured Chase to forgive her. He understandably needed time to process and had every right to be angry and resentful. It doesn't mean I didn't like Teagan but the only one I felt sorry for was Chase and another character that I won't go into because it's kind of a spoiler (look at my book tags if you must know). The book is 450 pages and after I hit the 70% mark, the story started to drag and I started skimming. I was happy that Chase & Teagan finally got their HEA. Phew.

I am having a hard time putting into words how much I loved this book. I was completely pulled into this emotional spellbinding love story that will consume your heart and mind. You will need to lock yourself away in a room with a box of tissues and be prepared for tears of joy, sorrow, anger, and love. I’m not going to say anymore because I’m afraid I might give a spoiler away. Just know that every last tear you cry will be worth it. Kahlen Aymes has outdone herself with this book! Five wonderful stars!

Trading Yesterday by Kahlen Aymes
5 stars!!!

“That’s what unconditional love is. You don’t get to choose.”

My favourite Kahlen Aymes book and I never knew I could EVER be disloyal to the Remembrance Trilogy. Emotional, with fantastic characters and heart tugging dialogue, this book will have you crying and smiling throughout. Such a stunning story. The ultimate second chance romance, every heart string will be tugged, every emotion felt and one love that truly lasts a lifetime.

“Do you think the life I dreamed of, didn’t have her in it?”

First love and true love, a love so powerful, a soul mate connection, love that when it works its euphoric and when it doesn’t…soul destroying. The only love that transcends it, is the love you have for your child and Kahlen Aymes regales the reader with an emotional story about both. Ultimate sacrifices made, friendships tested, love, forgiveness, reconnection and one gorgeous little family.

Kahlen Aymes will have you running the gamut of emotions as her story navigates the trials and tribulations of a young family battling childhood leukaemia. Every mother’s worst nightmare and when nothing works, desperation kicks in, even if it means re-hashing a past that left you broken hearted.

While I did not agree with some of Teagan’s actions, they were made from the heart with the sincerest of intentions. Young, naïve and hopelessly in love, left to make the toughest decisions, it was inevitable some may not be the right ones.

“You made your choices, now we’re all paying the bill. You didn’t believe in me at all.”

Chase, the hero of the hour in more ways than one. A man that would do anything for the love of his life even after six years apart. A man that would cross the world based on a heart-felt text message, even though the woman requesting his help left him on the brink of destruction, his heart in tatters. His propensity to forgive is truly tested and it doesn’t come easy.

Kahlen Aymes truly delivers on the emotion with this story. My heart broke for everyone involved, I cried a river, my heart was battered and bruised, not only for the little girl undertaking the toughest battle of her life but for the three main characters whose connection and friendship will be truly tested. Some of the most heart-felt scenes were between Chase and his best friend Jensen. These two men totally owned my heart and the dialogue between them was full of emotion, truly powerful and two particular scenes that had my rapt attention and played out in vivid technicolour as if I was watching it on the big screen. Stunning writing.

“My choices were ignorant and careless of the possible consequences. Despite my noble intentions, despite all the other shit that happened that made it impossible to take it back or change it…”

This was a story of love and hope, friendships and forgiveness, honesty and integrity. Yes, it was angsty, yes, it is a meaty read, but the story speaks for itself. This is a relatively long book, but it didn’t read that way. From first to last page my attention was held throughout. The character connection was on point, the dialogue was perfect, but the moral of the story is what made this book a winner.

Kahlen Aymes always write a good book, but her first trilogy has always been my favourite, until now. As much as I love Ryan and Julia, Chase and Teagan stole the mantle that they have held for over five years. I simply adored this book.

4 Seriously Beautiful Stars!

The Review:
This book... wow! It totally stole my breath away. It was beyond sweet, heartfelt, angsty and was just an all around fantastic read. With beautiful, soulful writing and a plot that will consume you, I couldn’t put this book down!

Story/Characters...
Trading Yesterday opens up with a Prologue that sets three characters racing towards heartbreak you can feel coming in just the first few sentences. I knew what was going to happen, but it still didn’t prepare me for the amazing writing that brought it all to life!

Chase Forrester has just got the offer of a lifetime. One he has to accept.

Teagan Tessler just found out some amazing, although untimely news. One that will change everything.

Jensen Jeffers is the best friend who always does the right thing.

One decision. One hidden confession. And one wrong choice.

There was so much heartbreak in what follows between Chase, Teagan and Jensen. There were times I wanted to shake Teagan for what she did, but I also understood her reasons. Jensen was just trying to do the right thing in a messed up situation and poor Chase was beside himself when he realized what he’d missed ... and what had been taken from him. They were all so young when this happened. People do stupid things. Teagan was very human in this book. She was easy to connect with and I felt her remorse in every sentence. I loved Jensen. He was mostly a side character but he was a good guy trying to do what he thought was right. As for Chase? That poor man really went through the ringer when everything came out. His emotions were so raw and heated and he was totally in the right with how he felt. But he also owned his part and the bravery it took to finally let it all go and make things right just made me love his sooooo much!

Then there is beautiful, spirited, sweet little Remi! She stole the show! I adore that little girl.

I could feel the love pouring off the pages from all the characters. I could also feel the sorrow, anguish and heartache in wishing you could change a past that’s unchangeable. All the characters felt lifelike. The story itself had me consumed. And it was all due to the amazing writing.

There were a couple of times the story felt a tiny bit bogged down with repetition and some of the pros were a little flowery but the emotions were spot on! It was simply a brilliant read all around!

The Wrap Up:
I’ll be honest, some of the content was hard to get through. Some of the character actions had me wanting to scream the roof down, but isn’t that what great stories do? They get inside your head and your heart and make you feel. This one did that, definitely!

This was my first book by this author, but I’m hooked! I’m looking forward to reading more.

This is a story of devastation, comfort, sacrifices and unconditional love.

Teagan and Chase are very much in love but when Chase accepts a soccer career in London, he loses everything he ever wanted instead. He thought if he proved himself to Teagan’s father, he would finally be good enough for her. He needed to be something, someone but at what cost?

Teagan was excited to tell Chase the news of the pregnancy but with his excitement of playing for Arsenal, she decided to keep it a secret for a little longer. She knew if she told Chase that he would not follow his dreams and stay to look after her and the baby and then maybe later even resent her?

Her father was an “EVIL SOD” he didn’t like Chase and when he found out that Teagan was pregnant, he threatened to ruin Chase’s career before it even started. Chase’s best friend Jensen promised to look after Teagan when Chase left for London but Chase never expected Jensen and Teagan to break his heart.

For 6 years Chase has mourned Teagan. He loved her with all of his heart and just couldn’t hate her like he wanted to. Like he needed too!

Teagan was frantic and desperate so she sent Chase a message to please come and see her. She knew he would hate her even more once he found out the truth. She knew he would be devastated and feared he may not even come but she had no other choice. Her baby girl’s life was at stake.

Remi is a beautiful and intelligent little 5 year old girl that has Leukemia and who is fighting for her life. She has been through so much and just wants to be a normal little girl. She knows she is loved by her mom and Jenson but she also knows that one day she will meet the one person whom she will call “Daddy”

Will he rescue her? Will he save her from the bad medicine?
This book had me in tears. Some sad tears and some happy tears. The love that is poured out to this little girl is so heart-warming. I felt it down to my toes.

The story was realistic and very well written. I wish I could give more of the story away but then it would be spoiling it for all. I can just honestly say… IT WAS A FANATSIC STORY SO PLEASE READ IT!!!

Well done to this brilliant Author Kahlen Aymes. Your work is heartfelt and well thought through. You wrote this with so much passion and devotion it was almost as if you lived the story yourself in order to share it with us.

I loved that you wrote with a duel POV. While reading each word, I could almost see the story come alive.

I will for sure recommend this to all.

5 out of 5 hearts!!!

Kahlen Aymes has totally knocked it out of the park with Trading Yesterday!! This is Chase and Teagans story, two college sweethearts utterly in love with each other, planning their futures together. The future never looked brighter, and then fate stepped in. Chase the highly talented soccer player at Clemson, gets the opportunity of a lifetime to full fill his dreams of playing professionally, the only thing is, its in London. At the same time Teagan's life has been thrown for a loop, knowing the news she has to tell Chase could forever alter their lives. After hearing about Chases news to go professional, Teagan makes a decision that will change the course of their lives, including their friend Jenson, for the next 6 years. Finally after 6 long years, she no other choice to reach out to Chase, because she desperately needs him in her life, she needs his help. What follow is a story of secrets, and lies, that weren't meant to intentionally hurt Chase, but ultimately did anyway. Chase comes back to the states to see why Teagan, needed him so desperately, and finds out this secret shes's been hiding for years!! He's hurt and angry, but at the same time coming to grips with all those feeling that are coming to the surface that he had for Teagan. The only problem Teagan has married his best friend Jenson, which is another betrayal in his eyes. Teagan is constantly apologizing for lying and keeping this huge secret from Chase, but he needs time to deal with things on his own. But he knows he's been given a gift, one that he will never walk away from. This story at times is heart breaking, emotional, sexy, romantic and full of hope. You'll be rooting for this couple as they try to, navigate thru some ruff waters, trying to repair their relationship and trust each other again. Their bond is constantly being tested by outside forces, they both know there is to much at stake to loose. The beautiful Remi needs them now more than ever, she's their heart and soul, and they'll do anything to protect her.!!!

Chase won and stole my heart.....absolutely brilliant

Kahlen Aymes first came to my attention with her REMEMBRANCE Trilogy, her story of Ryan and Julia, a love story for the ages. I always said that there was absolutely no way she was going to write another character who would be half as good as Ryan - I was so wrong!!! Let me introduce you to Chase, he has stolen my heart and I will never get it back. I warn you now, ensure you have a box of tissues nearby when you read this one.

Chase and Teagan are college sweethearts, everyone was sure that they would marry. However, the chance for Chase to play soccer in England, has changed all of that. Teagan held back a secret, enabling Chase to follow his dreams. With broken hearts, they carried on their separate lives for six years. However, a life and death situation has brought Chase back home. Secrets are about to be revealed and lives will be forever changed.

Once again Ms Aymes had my emotions riding the proverbial emotional rollercoaster. laughter and tears were in abundance. Chase was such a strong loving man - my heart broke for him. Teagan was a woman who got caught in a "catch 22" situation, but her love and her strength was unquestionable. But the character who really stole my entire heart was Remi - such a brave young lady.

This book deserves to be on everybody's list. it is one that will touch the deepest part of your soul. Absolute brilliance. I now cannot wait for Jenson's story to come.

5 soul crushing stars, This second chance love story had me in tears throughout most of the story. Young and in love Chase and Teagan are finishing up their college days, Chase is an exceptional soccer player. He finds himself moving to London to play professionally but he must leave Teagan behind. Teagan finds herself pregnant and doesn’t want to mess up Chase’s career so she keeps the news to herself. Her father basically disowns her, in comes Chase’s best friend, Jensen marries Teagan and claims the baby as his but six years later that baby is deathly ill and her only chance at living requires a bone marrow donor and no one close to her is a match. Teagan must make the call to Chase in London to see if he will take the test. Chase comes back to the states to find not only does he have a beautiful daughter but that he might be her only means of survival. Naturally Chase is hurt, confused and scared for his daughter. We watch Teagan try to explain what happened, but Chase is stuck in his grief from losing Teagan to begin with. I really enjoyed their journey back to each other but please be aware the little girl who is their daughter goes through some heartbreaking moments. Get The tissues ready you won’t have a dry eye. I wish I could give this book one million stars!

Kahlen has knocked it out of the park with this book so much emotion so many tears. Have your tissues ready.
Have you ever loved someone so much you were willing to let them go no matter the cost? You are willing to keep a secret from that person so he can live his dream.

This is a story about you never forgetting your first love and forgiveness.
Chase and Teagan are collage sweethearts. They are the love of each others lives. Chase is a soccer star. He gets the offer of a lifetime. He has the opportunity to play soccer for a professional team the only catch the team is in London. He wants to go and start preparing for their future. Just as this offer is presented Teagan has a secret of her own a secret she chooses not to share for Chase's own good.

Fast forward six years... Teagan needs Chase's help. Someone she loves is in trouble. She contacts Chase and begs him to come. What will he think? Will he come? Will he ever be able to forgive her? You will need to read to find out. I wish I could read this book again for the first time.

I have no doubt you will fall in love with these characters and their story. I did.
Thank you Kahlen for always giving us amazing stories.

5+ Stars! Omg, I’m sitting here trying to write my review: mouth open, tears in my eyes. I don’t even know what to say. I’m a huge fan, this author has a way of making me smile and cry at the same time, fill my heart, break it and fill it again. I LOVE Trading Yesterday so much, beginning to end and everything in between. It’s an wonderful story, with lovable and unforgettable characters. Great Job!

I love second chance romances and Chase and Teagan deserve a second chance. This story is so much deeper, so much more than that. The love between Chase, Teagan, Remi, and Jensen…..is a beautiful story that hurts and heals…..it warmed my heart even as it ached! The unconditional love….understanding and forgiveness…I could feel it. Remi….this sweet and strong little girl, so innocent touched me deeply.

I’ve been so excited for this one, but I have to say I was not emotionally prepared, there were so many times I had to put it down because I just couldn’t take anymore. Kahlen has been a one click favorite of mine since Ryan and Julia; they’ll always be a favorite. She's an amazing writer and Trading Yesterday is a story I won’t soon forget! I can't wait for Finding Tomorrow!

6 stars but deserving of the galaxy

I have read so many amazing books this year so it gets hard to pick a favorite. Halfway through this book though and I knew I had my top read of this years in my hands. I couldn't put it down. It was perfect in every way. The angst, emotions tears, pounding heart, and unconditional love was everything you could ever dream for in a book. This book will truly remain in my heart for all of eternity. I knew I would love this book, but I had no idea how hard I would fall.

I really don't want to go too much into detail about what happens in the book because it will ruin your reading experience a bit. You really will just become fully immersed in Chase and Teagan's world and feel every emotion that they experience throughout this whole journey. It can definitely be heartbreaking and you absolutely need tissues. I promise it is more than worth it in the end.

To me, there is nothing better than being completely owned by such and emotional and real story such as Kahlen has so graciously gifted us with. This is definitely one you will surely regret if you don't move it to the top of your TBR. You're heart will he bursting at the seams by the end. I promise.
