A modern retelling of Alice In Wonderland with a steamy, vampire twist
Abandoned by her sorority sister, Alice is left alone to navigate the Rabbit Hole, an exclusive Riverside club frequented by the beautiful, worldly, and sophisticated.
But she doesn’t discover until it’s too late that she’s in Vampireland, a place where creatures of the night come out to play…and the only way out is through the King of Hearts.
Will Alice lose her innocence before she loses her sanity?
If you like seductive vampires, lost innocence, and steamy encounters, you’ll love Alice in Wonderland fairytale retelling!
Yet another X-rated version of Alice in Wonderland doing what many books like that do and is to name characters after the original ones no matter whether or not they look alike or have any other traits of the original characters.
In this case Alice is part of a sorority and her friend takes her to the Rabbit Hole (Right. Yeah.) which is a new nightclub. Her friend is Mary-Ann (another useless reference to an original character.) Mary Ann abandons Alice and its not long before Alice meets Monsieur Mouse who proceeds to perform oral sex on her while Alice is sitting on a throne with a large hole in it.
One thing leads to another and soon she is in front of two guys who expect her to do oral sex on them. The Caterpillar and the Hatter appear and before long she's having full intercourse.
Alice was a virgin going into the club.
Now you would think with this title the vampires would actually take blood from her but apparently they just nip her. They also could have turned her into their sex thrall but they don't. In fact the vampires don't do much of anything a 'regular' vampire does.
This is a massively disappointing book, yet one more attempt to use a traditional, well-known story and profit from it, making as little effort as possible in their rewrite.
This was a very different and a bit funny.. Alice was a vampire, Hunter. Turned into a vampire on purpose by the group she was working for to be a better killer. She reformed and decided to be just a vampire. then the vampire counsel wants her to go on a mission to get all the old world Vampires to work together. Very funny.
A very quick read, Alice in Vampireland puts a vampire twist on the beginning of Alice in Wonderland. It was well done, my only complaint would be how short it was (less than an hour to read).
If the price is right I will definitely consider buying any sequels to this book.
It took me less than 30 minutes to read this. For what it was, it was great. But these should short books should be label better, instead of being disguised as a full novels.
It goes in line with the original Alice in Wonderland with a new age erotica twist.
