Dirty Cops next door by Summer Cooper a dirty, arrestable five-star read. This is by far the best example of the writing of the amazing Summer Cooper I have ever read. I couldn’t put it down, I got shouted at by a friend who I ignored all day as I refused to reply to messages as I didn’t want to put it down. Grant Reed and David Marshall could handcuff me any day, they were such great men, they could have come across as a little samey as there are lots of hot cops out there, but Summer Cooper has brought them out and made them fresh and 3 dimensional. The story they get taken on is a great story of their own, but brining Toni Wallace along for the ride, just made this a story that you couldn’t stop reading until every page was done. Well done Summer Cooper on a great read, that had a freshness that kept me guessing and a captivating awe that made it a pleasure to read.
This was a pretty good MFM book. The two "dirty" cops are hot and love to share. They find they have met their match when they meet their next-door neighbor, Toni. She is raising her brother and has landed a job on the local paper. When her brother gets into trouble she can't decide whether her two neighbors are friends or enemies.
Grant and David have been sharing women for a long time. They are not looking to settle down, at least they weren't before they meet Toni. She is hot, and innocent at the same time and her love for her brother is obvious. When the son of a local drug dealer inadvertently involves Toni's brother, Eric, in a drug deal gone wrong, Toni does not know whom to turn to for help. Grant seems to be on her side, but David is playing hardball and so is the police chief. The three cops have been trying to take down the head of the drug ring for months, but keep coming up short. A last-ditch effort does not end well for Grant, and the burgeoning love between Toni, Grant, and David is threatened. Find out how it all comes out.
I was given an ARC of this book. My review is voluntary.
Oh boy.... I was super excited to start this book because let's face it.... Two hot guys??? Let's go. I haven't read any book from this author but if her other works are like this one I know I will want to read them all. Summer Cooper as a hot as hell writting full of desire, suspense and so much more. She focus her attention not only in our day to day situations but she does care about family bonds. Dirty Cops Next Door is her latest release and explores the lifes of Tony and her brother as well as David and Grant. Tony was left with the task to raise her little brother after her parents passed away. When they move houses, in order for her to start a new job as a reporter, her brother gets himself in trouble and that will grant them a visit from her hot as sin cops. David and Grant are cops, who love their jobs and the beat friends in the entire world. The not only share an apartment but they enjoy to share other things. I was thinking that I was going to get a hot b9ok but Dayum....this was so much more. The plot is intense and beautiful and the interaction between the characters is raw and amazing. I love the forbidden stuff so much and you will love this book The way the story progressed left me anxious sometimes and super hot as well. The suspense is very present as well as love, desire and family. I enjoyed this book so much. What's next Summer? Another hot book? Can't wait
A hot steamy book from Summer Cooper. At first I thought this was just an MFM romance, but I was totally wrong, this book not just about lust and love, there's the thrill with a hint of suspense too. A sassy independent girl and two hot cops, mix in with drug dealer, oh yeah this one has interesting story. There's emotional moments between Tony and her brother, this bonding between the siblings warms my heart and got me a bit teary. I'm not a fan of Tony though, her train of thought a bit bothering me, one minute she's so emotional, next minute her minds filled with dirty things with two hot cops. There's also hot super steamy moments between Tony, David and Grant, that made me so turn on, I didn't feel their connection though, there's no builds up on their connection, it's like wam-bam and I'm in love. And the actions got me on edge, my heart racing with the thrill.
I really enjoying this book. It's full of hotness and I like the plot. So overall, I like it.
If you're looking for something hot, try this one.
*I voluntarily received a review copy of this book
This book starts out hot and ends hot! I love Summers books and every time she releases one I know I am in for a ride. This one is just wonderful. I loved the suspense she put into this one. Everyone is out for something and in the middle of it all, you have the 3 lovers that are just smoking hot. This is a must read and/or add to your TBR list. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
I read this book as part of an arc program. I enjoyed the story of Toni and her little brother Eric. Toni was raising her brother after her parents died and when they moved so she could start a new job as a reporter. When Eric started school, his first friend lands him in trouble and gets the attention of Toni's neighbors David and Grant. David and Grant are two police officers who are best friends and like to share everything. When Eric lands in trouble, they try to help and win Toni over. This steamy story had danger and a twist. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Good one.
I can't say that I blushed, but my Kindle might have wanted a cigarette or two before the story was finished ... :)
I enjoyed this book, especially the storyline, but felt it could have been enhanced with a little more character dialogue between Toni, Grant and David. I can understand Toni the best, especially after reading about her dreams, but it just didn't deliver quite the same lust- or love-inducing feelings that I have come to expect with David and Grant. If the relationship had been a more developed, I would give this book a 5 star rating, versus the 4 stars. This one I would have loved to actually give 4.5 stars if available (Amazon please add the ability to show 1/2 Stars ...) since the plot is interesting and engaging and makes you root for the various characters as they go through everything.
There are a few potential trigger points in this book, such as adult language, steamy intimate scenes (including fantasies) of menage and F/M, and violence (potentially including assault, kidnapping, murder, drug dealing, etc.), so if any of these are triggers for you, then this may not be the book for you.
Toni Wallace and her younger brother, Eric, move to New Hope, Virginia for a new start. Toni became Eric's legal guardian at the age of 18 when their parents died in a wild type of accident. Along the way they formed a tight bond, as they didn't always have all the things they wanted, but they always had what they needed and each other. All of the sacrifices made over the last few years will hopefully pay off now that Toni has graduated with honors in Communications and received an offer to be a reporter from the New Hope Herald.
Toni met her sexy next door neighbors, Grant and David, two hot and sexy detectives when they came over to help her and Eric move in all their furniture. Every since then they have figured prominently in her nightly fantasies and her day dreams. Today though Toni has to shake off the fantasies as she starts her new job and Eric starts his first day of school. They discussed him riding his bike, but since she had paperwork to drop off, she was going to drop him off. When she got there, the secretary almost made her late for her first day, while looking for a form she needed to sign. Then Toni arrived at the building housing the newspaper and started to panic a little when she realized she didn't know where to go. Then a woman approached her and introduced herself as Barbara, her new boss and editor. Barbara then gave Toni a quick tour and showed her to her new office so they could review a few things. Then she gave Toni her first assignment due tomorrow ... tomorrow! She hadn't expected to get one so soon, even if it was writing up a story on the Policemen's Ball. So Toni set off to the police station to talk with the Chief.
Toni entered the precinct and approached the policewoman on duty, Beth "Bee" Andrews. Bee let Toni know that the Chief wasn't available. After they spoke for a few minutes, Toni was almost crushed when she was ran over by Grant, her next door neighbor. He was followed by her other fantasy man, his partner on the force, David. After they left, Bee and Toni bonded some more over the two men ... Bee told her where she could find the Chief and program sponsor for lunch. Toni went back to work and had time to daydream some more before heading to the diner and an impromptu meeting during lunch. Later Toni felt really good to have finished her article and submit it to her editor on time. Now she was relaxing at home with a glass of wine while she was waiting for her brother to get home so they could go over how his first day of school went. He had texted her earlier that he had already made a friend.
Grant and David joined the force on the same day about 10 years ago, and they have been partners ever since. They became roommates about 5 years ago, when David's last serious relationship ended. Now they were a package deal, but for one night only. David was interested in pursuing some fun with Toni, as he didn't remember anyone attracting him in that way before, but Grant was against it because she was their neighbor and she had guardianship of her brother. Toni made Grant feel something different to, but he wasn't for sure what it was. He just knew that she didn't need them messing with her, especially when they were trying to find evidence against the town drug dealer, Avery Winslow. Then they received a call about another drug deal gone bad and left for the dying industrial park on the edge of town.
As Grant and David got closer to the buildings, they could see smoke and the fire department. As they brought the vehicle to a stop, they could see a body laying on the ground. They quickly made their way over to find a teenager with blackened skin from the fire. He began to open and close his eyes which showed the same blue as his sister, and their next door neighbor ... it was Eric, Toni's little brother.
I am going to stop there so I don't accidentally provide any spoilers or twists.
I volunteered to leave a honest review of the ARC for this book.
Toni has had a rough life. she lost her parents at 18 and instantly become mother to her younger brother. She struggled to raise him and get through college but now hopefully her struggles are over. She has her degree and her dream job as a reporter plus her brother has a scholarship to college next year. She and her brother move to town and get a rental next to two gorgeous guys David and Grant. They are two hot cops but she knows she has no chance. Grant and David have been best friends for years and partners on the force for ten years. They enjoy doing things together especially women. The are both drawn to Toni but they never fool around in their back yard so they give up any idea of being with Toni. Then they get called to a failed drug deal/explosion and find Toni's brother hurt at the scene. Grant immediately goes to get Toni and helps her get to the hospital. He sides with Toni that her brother is innocent. David is not so sure. He is afraid that the brother is gotten in with bad company and is making poor decisions. In reality, he is fighting his strong attraction to Toni. Toni is very attracted to both Grant and David but the problem is she wants both of them and David showed no interest until her brother gets arrested. David hints that he will help her with freeing her brother if she will sleep with him. The kiss they do to seal the deal is so hot that Toni forgets why she is doing it. That night she goes to David and Grant and they have a passionate night together. She is falling for her sexy cops. This is a good book with lots of heat and the characters have a lot of depth. David and Grant have to help clear Toni's brother name or his future goes down the toilet. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Oh my! Girls break out the vibrators you’re going to need them. Summer Cooper has done it again. This book was so hot. Can someone say is that your nightstick or are you just happy to see me.
Toni is the Guardian of her little brother Eric. They were orphaned by their parents and Toni has been taking care of Eric ever sense. She gets a job after college at a newspaper in New Hope and moves in next-door to it too hot cops. But as her brother finds his way into trouble the first day, Tony doesn’t know what to do. David is busted her butt about Eric and blaming him for everything that is going on with the drug dealer and Grant is trying to be supportive and help her and Eric out as much as possible. Toni can only do one thing and that’s hate David and be there for her brother.
David is struggling with his attraction to Toni. Grant and David have a pact they share the women for one night and one night only. No relationships. But when The hot little number moved in next-door David struggles. He is afraid that if he slips up with her that the pack will be broken and it won’t be just one night. It will be a distraction that Grant and David cannot afford. Not while they are trying to take down the drug dealer bring it down there town.
Things get dicey and Feelings start to come into play. What will David do? Can he allow his self to make the move on Toni as Grant is dying to do?
Let me tell you these characters were so intriguing. You will want to be Toni. Grant and David are fine specimens with hungry appetites. But this book wasn’t just a wham bam thank you mam! No! This book was full of action and adventure! Thrills and chills. You will be hooked from page 1 and you won’t put this book down until it’s done. You will be begging for more! *ARC provided by Summer Cooper
I give Dirty Cops Next Door 5 stars for making me want neighbours just like Toni has. I felt so much compassion for Toni, she's a brave soul providing love and stability for her brother but for once she finally gets to have something just for her. A great plot that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Summer Cooper has done it again, another fun, sexy mysterious read under her belt! The characters are strong, exciting, and sexy, and the story is thrilling and interesting, and her writing and story telling is fantastic.
When Grant and David came across Toni moving in next door with her younger brother, they instantly knew they were doomed. The chemistry they felt, the feeling that she was more then just a quick romp would soon be tested. After one night together, they knew they need more, much more. Would she want the same thing?
Toni has been responsible for her brother, Eric, since she lost her parents at age of eighteen. She accepted a new job as a reporter for the New Hope Herald, the local newspaper, and they moved to start their new life. Her new neighbours, who helped them move in, were quickly becoming an integral part of their lives. What would come of this relationship?
David Marshall, tall, bald, and sexy, and Grant Reed, tall with light grey eyes, are every straight girl's fantasy. They are cops, partners, roommates, and love to share bed partners. They work well together, no matter what the job is. When Eric gets in trouble with the law, they come up with a plan to help stop the madness. Will their plan succeed?
Dirty Cops Next Door is a standalone romance novel about discovering who you are, accepting what you can't change, and moving forward.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Summer Cooper always grasps my attention right at the beginning of her stories. In her latest book, Dirty Cops Next Door, the reader is lead to feel very jealous of our heroine, Toni, who has two handsome, bad boy cops with gorgeous eyes, one very sexy accent and swaggers that make you feel dizzy. Switch on the fans/air con ladies as these two cops bring on the heat and almost make you want them to arrest you and put you in handcuffs! Swoon ;) Toni and her younger brother, Eric, make a new start in the town with her starting as a reporter at the local paper and Eric finishing high school. But all seems to go astray when he is partnered with a boy called mark at school. I loved the storyline as there were twists and so many secrets floating around - some official and some not so much. Grant and David our two handsome hunky cops took one look at their new neighbour and just a look between them was all it took. They knew they wanted Toni it was a question of when as they certainly knew how. The steamy scenes when they and Toni are together are really good and check your Kindles that they are not melting. I loved the scene when the three of them are in the Interview room - not at all what I was expecting! if you like romance, strong women, determination, erotic scenes, two gorgeous men willing to do anything for them women and an interesting storyline with several layers to it then this is the book for you. I am a fan of Summer Cooper's books and this is one of her best. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
This book grabbed me from its first pages and kept me up half the night! I could not let it go. Action, mystery, suspense and then some of the most illicit and steamy MFM hotness ever! All that, plus I fell in love with the heroine, Toni. She was one of those strong, responsible, decisive women we all long to be. Then a man, ummmm, make that possibly two men, found the way to wrap her up and allow her to let go and relax. Because relaxing is not something Toni, the older sister and guardian of younger brother, Eric, has been able to do in the years since their parents passed away. Then add that during that time Antonia also completed her college degree even though she was working full time to keep the lights on and food on the table while “parenting” Eric. . . AMIRE THAT GIRL is all one can conclude! Considering this is the last semester of Eric’s senior year, do you think it is time for Toni to find some happiness for herself? Can casual sex with one or possibly both of the most handsome men ever be enough for Toni? Will the “one crisis after another” roller coaster she has been on since she moved to ?? ever slow down enough for her to breath? While I am writing this honest, voluntary review after reading an ARC copy of Dirty Cops Next Door by Summer Cooper, I plan to purchase my own copy to keep in the library of my favorites! If you like an erotic romance with great action, characters and plot line, I strongly suggest you do the same. Summer Cooper has officially made my list of favorite authors and I sense you’ll like her too. Happy pages! 😉
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Toni, David, and Grant. Toni and her younger brother Eric have just moved to a new town for her job. She thought a bigger town would be better for them both. Little did she know the second day there her brother would get into so much trouble she didn't know if they could ever get out of it. She just hopes the cops next door really can help her out just like they offered. She also wonders if maybe getting help from her will lead her somewhere she never planned to be either. Can she really have a light at the end of the tunnel or will she be berried under all this stress?
David and Grant aren't looking for anything at the moment they have enough on their plate with their job. However one look at the new neighbor and they wonder can they make the time. When her younger brother gets dragged into stuff with some bad guys they know they need to help. They wonder though how much can they help without loosing everything themselves?
This is a great book about fighting to find that light at the end of the tunnel. There are some twists and turns in this book that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will grab you from the first word and not let go till the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Toni becomes the sole guardian for her younger brother Eric when their parents are killed in a stupidly freak accident but she pulls it together gets her degree and her dream job with a newspaper as a reporter but on her first day her brother falls in with the wrong crowd when a drug bust goes wrong and he gets hurt in the ensuing explosion. The two hot cops assigned to the case happen to be her new neighbors and the leading men in her dirty fantasy's whilst Grant is supportive and kind taking her to the hospital after the accident, David seems hell bent on blaming her brother and making him the escape goat for the entire mess but David is fighting feelings of his own when he finds himself drawn to Toni, the guys have a rule they share everything including women but it is a one time deal never a repeat, never a relationship until she moves in next door turning their world upside down and he knows that one night will never be enough. This book was so amazingly hot but there is so much more to it than just steamy sex scenes it was also intense edge of your seat thrills, shootout's and a kidnapping that has you turning the pages almost faster than you can read in short it is authors like Summer that make my love of reading so much more enjoyable when you come across that little gem of a book that stands out not only for the well developed characters but the brilliant storyline. Definitely one not to be missed. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and chose to leave a review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. Toni fell in lust on the day she and her brother Eric moved into their new home in NewHope, Va. Toni was hired as a reporter for the local newspaper, right out of college. She was in insta lust because her two next door neighbors, Grant and David and seem Toni and her brother struggling to move their furniture into the house they rented, and being good neighbors & cops they help Toni get the furniture into her rented home. Toni's first day of work led her to the police station to interview the Chief of Police, it didn't hurt that she also ran into good natured Grant and quiet and mysterious David. Eric's first day at a new school ended with Eric being at the wrong place at the wrong time. A drug deal gone bad, a fire at the industrial park a dead man and Eric hospitalized. David was pretty sure that Eric's arrival and the events that followed were no coincidence. When Grant got to the hospital with Toni, David already had him handcuffed to the bed. David also discouraged Grant from any romantic ideas involving their new neighbor. David and Grant were always looking for "the one" and it rocked David to his core that Toni might just be that. After the event at Avery's home Grant 's behavior proved my theory that most men are just dumbasses. Good read, I really liked Toni as a lead female character.

How will I Start With These Two Cops 1 (David) Whom Seemed Stand Offish Whilst The Other One (Grant) Wants To Help Toni & Her Brother After He seem's To be Involved With cocaine after he was there with His New Friend. These Two Men are involved with getting the main culpit. So It's slightly a slow start but I suppose we're getting to know these 3 as much as you can in quite a short period of time. And during this time the men seems to see that Toni would have them both, which is how they come no matter what it seems, (though there's no Gay relations, it's just they love to share which is usually for 1 night only). And THEY WANT HER. So Their 1st Night Goes As They Knew It Would & It Surprised me that for someone who had ONLY had sexually Intercourse When She Lost Her Virginity, Which Had Been a Good Few Years Prior That She Would Go For Two Together, No Matter How HOT They Are. But things change After an Operation goes Wrong & Things In The threesome Changes & This Area We Didn't See Or Hear Much about how their lives were going until it's jumped a good few weeks & Then We've Jumped a Few Months. So I Wish We Could've Seen a bit More Information on how Their Lives Went ahead, during these times (Though Some people might Think It's Not Needed, but I Would've Liked it) I also would've Liked as They Already Jumped time, That We Saw What Was Said that They Had Planned to Finish Off their Union 😊
This book goes through the struggle of having to be an adult too soon, but then making time being an adult when the time is right. Toni and Eric's parents died, leaving them alone in the world, Toni struggled but always found a way to take care of her younger brother. Once she got a new job, they moved to New Hope, where things would start to turn around for them. When moving in, her hot neighbor cops helped moved them into the house. As a reporter for the local paper, she finds herself around them more and more, but feels chemistry between, not just one but both of them! Can she have both?
When Toni first moves in, Grant and David are all to happy to help her move in, but quickly realize they need to back off of her since she is too close to home and they can't play with her like they want. But when they get a taste of her mouth, nothing can stand in their way of getting her underneath them, just one time. But can once be enough for Grant and David? Will she agree to join them both?
This story goes through twists and turns, scandal, love, lust, romance and a HEA. It goes into the emotional strain of losing a parent and how to recover from that loss. Very good read, highly recommend this!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book. OMG I wanted to strangle Grant for being so stupid after he was shot. Talk about your "good cop/bad cop" and the girl next door who falls for them both. How do you love someone and hate him at the same time? David is the "bad cop" and Grant is the "good cop. When Toni's brother Eric is arrested his first day in school for being in the wrong place at the wrong time David makes all kinds of accusations. Toni stays strong and believes that Eric is innocent and fights for him. Grant believes this to be true and is trying to help her while David is doing just the opposite. Then all of a sudden she ends up in bed with both of them and they all feel things they never thought they would. The guys have a big case at work and tell Toni they might be gone for a day or two. Then things go wrong and Grant get shot and can't walk temporarily. He withdraws into himself because of his fear of leaving them so he pushes them together and away from him. Toni is about to leave because she can't be with David without Grant and he is refusing to even see her. Will David be able to convince him to talk to Toni and convince her to stay because they both love her? Will Toni stay and forgive him for acting like an ass and pushing her away like he did?
ARC received for an honest review. Two 🔥hot naaasssty men🐺🐺🍌🌋 for one beautiful girl! 💋👸 Grant🐺🍌🌋 and David🐺🍌🌋 are two single cops👮 who live next door to Toni's new house. They helped her move in, and now she can't stop thinking about them, dreaming about them. Funny, though, because she dreams about BOTH of them being in her bed, in her arms!
She's in a new city, with a new job as a reporter, just her and her teenage brother. They are all that's left of their family. Her first assignment is to interview the Chief of Police👮 about the upcoming Policeman's Ball. She literally gets run into by the tall, handsome, talkative Grant🐺🍌🌋, and his partner, bad boy David🐺🍌🌋, is not far behind. She's into both of them, and the brooding, intense David🐺🍌🌋 seems to be able to read her mind!
When Toni's little brother, Eric, gets into trouble and hurt after his first day at school, Grant🐺🍌🌋 and David🐺🍌🌋 become much more involved in her life. The town has a 💉drug problem, and the two men think Eric may know something. This book📕 has an interesting involved plot and the story goes far beyond just two🔥hot guys next door. YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Recommend for some sexy escapism! Included are several other full length books, also worth reading.

I am a great lover of Summer Cooper's books and each time I think she cannot top one...she just has to go and prove me wrong. This one is hot, so hot in fact, that you'd better keep an extinguisher near by just in case your tablet spontaneously combusts!
Toni Wallace and her brother, Eric, have moved to a new town to try and get on with their lives after the death of their parents. As they are moving in, Toni's new, friendly, handsome and drop dead gorgeous neighbours come out to help and it's a case of lust at first sight for the trio. Our boys in blue are partial to a bit of MFM action and decide that Toni is worth further investigation. Although the duo are usually only interested in casual, one off hookups, they believe Toni might be the real deal, the "one"they've been searching for. With Eric buddying up with the son of the local drug lord (that our cops are investigating) the course of true love might not run as smoothly as the trio would like.
The story was well written, fast paced, had enough twists and turns to keep me hooked to the last page and sexy scenes that weren't so much hot, they were off the Scoville scale! I loved the boys next door and it almost made me want to go out and break the law so I could find a pair of my own.
Ooooh, this book is so hot! David and Grant, both police officers, are partners in every aspect of their lives, on the force, sharing a home, sharing women. So when they're both tempted by Toni, their next-door neighbor, we know all their efforts at resisting only serve to build the delicious tension! They don't "do" relationships, nor do they want to start something temporary with permanent neighbor, but when Toni's little brother gets into trouble, all their resolutions seem like empty air and it takes all three of them to sort everything out. Toni, at first, doesn't quite know what to do with her feelings for both men, but their path to making it all work is beautifully done.
The love scenes are scintillating with all the emotions running hot, making this one of the rare romances where the erotica serves the overall story line rather than the other way around. This author builds deep emotional foundations for her characters so you really feel for them as you read their story. Ms. Cooper really elevates the menage setup to a real art form. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I loved this story by Summer Cooper about two cops, Grant & David and their new neighbour, Toni, who is a reporter for the local newspaper. Toni has had to grow up quickly when her parents died and she became the guardian for her younger brother, Eric so between raising him, sacrificing her needs for Eric and never letting go, she hasn't done anything solely for herself. Until the two partners show heated interest in her does she finally let go. Unfortunately there are obstacles in their way...can she break through one of the men that has her heart? An amazing ménage read with a story behind it that held me captive right from the beginning. I enjoyed all three of them, the hard stone faced cop, David, the easy going relaxed cop, Grant and the kindest, compassionate, self sacrificing, beautiful woman inside and out, Toni. All three complimented each other perfectly and the story with steam, some suspense & action, heartache, fear and lust/love made it hard to put down. There was only one question unanswered for me...what happened to the idea of the farm the men wanted and did they get it? *I voluntarily reveiwed an ARC of this book*
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I read most things that Summer Cooper writes and for the most part am a big fan. This book is an example of that. Her characters of Grant, David and Toni were immediately were fully fleshed out characters (as she always writes), though at times it felt as if another 20 or so pages might not have helped during a few stilted areas of the book. Background, history and such is something that you can never have enough of in this type of book. The premise was gripping and kept the reader intrigued. It also had a few times where I stifled a yawn, waiting for the inevitable to occur. My suggestion would be for a quicker bedroom scene to occur. After all, this is erotic romance, Yes??? Except for those two areas of discontent, this book was still pretty good. Hot and steamy by the time the last page was read. My Overall rating for the book = 3.75
I don't leave synopsis of a book, as the author's blurb does a much better job then I ever could, nor do I leave spoilers as I feel this does an injustice to subsequent readers.
Toni is trying to take care of her younger brother since their parents were killed in a terrible accident. They move to a new town where she takes a job working for a news paper. It seems that trouble followed them or they created it since they have moved though. Their new neighbors are a couple of very sexy cops who helped them move into their place, and then they end up having to be tough on Eric for a while. The trouble that ensues for both of them creates a stronger bond between them and the neighbors that can't seem to get Toni out of their minds. Toni is a very strong woman who has put so much time into raising her brother that she has not had any time to be a woman and now she wants to be a woman and find someone who will share her life with her. Are Grant and David the right ones for her? This was a very well written book. It's a book about love, but also about family and how the people we consider family may not be blood relations, but those that we feel the closest to and want to have in our lives no matter what.
When Toni moves to New Hope with her brother Eric, the better job at the local Newspaper was a step in the right direction for the two who were fending for themselves since they had lost their parents. Things seemed to be looking up, of course having to hot cops Grant and David as friendly neighbors was a nice bonus too! Until Toni's brother, Eric get's mixed up with the wrong kids his first days at his new school. Suddenly that things are looking up feeling, sunk back down to dangerously low, with two cops hot on her brothers tail.. all the while Grant, David & Toni have this insta-connection that lights up the room!
I do love Summer Cooper's alpha men! OOOHH MY- this time we get both sides of the goodness, the fun, sexy laid back side, and the intense, controlled yummy needy side! Toni is one lucky character!
An edgy, emotionally tormenting, passion-filled storyline that grabbed me by the feels and held on through the detailed suspense building turns witty banter and romance in bloom. Another fantastic read by Summer Cooper!

First time reading from this author, it was good. This story started off a bit slow but as the action started to happen it then grabbed my attention. Told in 3 p.o.v's Toni, David and Grant. Had some surprising twists and some heart touching moments.

Toni's brother Eric is a sweet kid, him and Toni don't show it but they are both got broken souls from their parents unusual death, she had to go without for Eric. He is her world and when trouble surprises not only Eric but Toni as well will bring two certain cops banging down her door for answers and justice.

With her brand new degree in communications, Toni move with her brother Eric from small town Virginia to Central Virginia..There she will be starting her new job at the local news paper. It's also a fresh start for them since the death of their parents. Thanks to her new job, Toni ends up living next door to two sexy cops.. David Marshall, and Grant Reed, who has been friends for ten years.....every night they are the centerpieces in her dreams.. In order to protect her heart, and her brother, Toni knows she has to stay away from them . The first day of school Eric gets into trouble and, arrested by no other then sexy David... Toni find herself wondering if its pass time that she does something for herself.. More to the point two sexy as hell cops.. This book has a bit of everything... And NO!! I did not cry..it was someone else.... Favorite line , "You will always be safe, Toni always even with two cops as dirty as us".. Really enjoy this book.. Excellent job Summer Cooper ..
Two sexy hot cops as neighbors. What’s a girl supposed to do? Within the first few days of Toni and her younger brother Eric moving to a new town, Eric is accidently involved in a drug case and possible murder. The two hot polices officers that live next door to Toni and Eric are involved. One thinks Eric is guilty. But both help her as much as they can. But Eric is still friends with the son of the man they are trying to arrest. Toni has to keep Eric safe, and deal with her feelings for David and Grant. They feel the same way about her, but is it a conflict of interest if Eric is involved in the drug smuggling case? The only part of this book I didn’t understand was why the chief of police forced Toni to spend money she couldn’t afford on putting Eric in a program doing community service, and then forcing her to spend more money for an attorney, when he knew Eric wasn’t really involved in the drug case? If you have ever fantasized about having two men to yourself and wonder how it would work out you should definitely read this.
This books starts off with an older sister and her younger brother moving to a new place sometime after their parents passed away. They only had each other and now more than ever it had always been her taking on multiples roles to help keep them together. She had worked very hard and had forgotten how to live her own life.
She then met her cops neighbors and that's how their relationship grew. It escalated more since an accident happened to her brother. The cops took care of her and they needed her in their life too and vice versa. She was what they've been waiting for.
There are some hot scenes between them three. Whew.
I don't want to spoil anymore info about the book but you should read it. I didn't want the book to end.
