This is a very visually pleasing plant book! I’ve always had artificial plants in my house, but now buying real ones, this is a great book for anyone like me who doesn’t know how to look after them, sadly every real plant iv ever owned didn’t last long, due to me overwatering or not watering enough! It shows you how to style your plants in lots of different ways and gave me great inspiration for my home! Also a lovely coffee table book!
This is an interior design book that focuses on plants. If you're looking for a indoor gardening/plant how-to book, this isn't the title for you. There are some care tips and suggestions at the end, but it's very cursory. If you'd like ideas for how to incorporate plants into your living spaces, it's a beautiful little gem.
This is very much a “styling” book rather than a “gardening” book. The rooms used to illustrate the “styling” are very sparse and white, and the plants are just kind of... there. The book explains how to group them. Sometimes in twos, sometimes in threes. It’s very pretty.
This book had lovely photos and some good info about plants, but there's nothing earth-shattering here. All the photos seem to be taken in the same all-white building and there's not a lot of variety, but there is some good advice on what plants to put in what kind of environment.
If you're into all-white decor and the "Real Simple" vibe, you'll like this book
This is a book for serious plant people. I’m more casual about plants myself, so the photos were what I enjoyed the most. Has a nice chart about sun + water needs for each plant, so that’s very helpful 🌿
I think I will buy this one. Interesting reading, pretty design; good information. There is a helpful plant guide at the back that list common & scientific name, watering for growing & rest months, lighting and humidity preferences.
Aesthetically pleasing, full of visual examples and inspirations on how to use plants to enhance your home decor.
If you’re looking for a good variety of photographic inspiration, this is a good book. However if you’re looking for anything else, this book is lacking in content.
I’d utilise this book for moving houses/rooms for a hard copy inspiration of how to use plants to decorate each room. Otherwise, might be better to check Pinterest or Instagram.
