All around AMAZING read!!! Haunted has it all: Halloween fun, a little spookiness, hot and sexy, suspense, mystery, second chance romance, friendship bonds, love, romantic, strong female, alfa males, cuteness, heartache, overcoming obstacles, extremely entertaining. I love Cybill Cain's writing and can't wait to read more!🎃

This was a sweet second chance story between two people, Janine and Stacy who knew each other in high school. They were torn apart by a jealous and evil girl. Janine was heartbroken and moved to Italy while Stacy joined the marines. They never forgot each other and wondered what could have been. As fate would have it, they both end up working for the same company and are thrown together. A second chance at love. This book will have you both smiling and tearing up. My first read by Cybill Cain and will read more! What a fantastic second chance at love Haunted was! Stacy & Janine were best friends in High School and also loved each other! But circumstances pulled these two apart, 10yrs later they find themselves living next door to one another! And bam they find their love is not lost! Awesome ending!

Arc provided by author for honest review. God I am loving this author so hard! Haunted was steaming hot, Stacey McGill damn the man can melt any girls panties off lol. I loved how this story started off with Stacey and Janie friends. Then kind of a angry at each other. How they had to work to be good for each other. Not just pick up where they left off. Cybill I absolutely loved this book!

Anyone reading previous reviews knows that if you put a kitten into a good book, I'll like it even more. This isn't one of those. I can't possibly enjoy this book any more, cat or no cat. Spook is cute but hey, cute isn't everything. What's everything is the undying love that is contained within these pages when you know who your one and only is, no matter how many miles or years go by. That's what Janine and Stacy had from their teen years on. Janine was a very, very smart girl who wore thick glasses and was overweight. I can identify with that, SO much. Then we have Stacy who was cute then, but really grew up, and I say that in my lowest, purringest voice. I love hunks that know what to do when the woman says "I love you". And believe me, it isn't to tie her up and pretend they're Christian Grey, lol.
I refuse to give away any part of this story in this review, the book is too good for me to do that. I just "discovered" Ms. Cain a short while ago thanks to a giveaway she was a part of. This is the second book of hers I've read and I'm positive the girl knows how to tell a story. And in case I didn't say it before, if you were looking for a plain, ordinary, blah romance with no sex, no heat, no steam, and no humor - go elsewhere. This one has heat, steam, lots of humor, some wonderful bedroom playtime, and a touch of suspense, along with anything else that Ms. Cain needed to add to tell the story. This book doesn't contain any bondage, no violence, and no doubt that the two main characters were not only developed really well, they're also very much in love. Thank you Cybill Cain for writing this book. Five stars, should really be seven or eight. But true to keeping with my rules, you made me giggle, you made me laugh out loud (Batman and Catwoman), you made me remember lines in movies I thought I'd forgotten, you made me remember how incredibly soothing and romantic Bob Seger is, you made me cry happy tears, you made me go "awwww" when Spook showed up, you made me remember how sweet it is when the love of your life loves you back, but most of all, you gave me a great book to read today.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Exclusive ARC of this book. This is my first book by this author. I really enjoyed the story. I enjoyed Cybill's character builds. Despite the way Stacy tries to forget Janine, he is so sweet, you cannot, not forgive that. He can't be expected to have lived his life the same way Janine did. It will be interesting to see what happens next. It does not seem this is the last time we'll see Stacy and Janine, at least I hope not. Oh, and I bet we see now mature, Tony!

This is a super cute, steamy, and action-y story! Stacy & Janie are childhood BFF's/sweethearts, separated by misunderstanding (and the machinations of a petty mean girl). When they meet again, that connection is still there - and their banter is HILARIOUS! I love the "nerd humor" sprinkled in. I loved how their boss/friend worked together to get them back together, and also the spy-stuff.
All in all, this story is a LOT of FUN & I'm looking forward to reading Escape & Delicious! : )

Another well written story full of drama, angst, suspense, heartache and romance. I love a great second chance story that takes you through all emotions and Haunted really took me on an emotional ride. Janine and Stacy were meant to be together and destiny (with a little help from Tony, Janine's boss) brought them back together. Once reunited they finally tell each other how they really feel about each other. Can they finally get their HEA? I voluntarily reviewed an Exclusive ARC of this book.

I received a free copy of this book and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is my first Cybill Cain book but will not be my last. This was a quick easy read for me. I read it in one short afternoon. I encourage everyone to get this book. A second chance at love. This one is worth your time and effort. A totally enjoyable story with just enough heat to keep you interested!!!! This is one you shouldn't overlook.

This story hit me in the heart because I was that girl in high school trying to get the guy that had it planned was a bit overweight. I got a 2nd chance to and unlike Janine I turned my love away. This story left me wondering though what if questions for me. I was touched so deeply. I will never know if my 'Stacy' and I would have worked but this story left me with love in my heart and an author I now love.

Another gem in this series
What can I say I loved it like the books before it!
I didn’t know what to expect with Stacy’s story and I was pleasantly surprised.
I also love Tony for how he got the balls in motion....no pun intended.

Great story!
This is a great book! I was hooked from the first page. Janine and Stacy's story is heartwarming and sexy! Tony is a really good friend. And I love Spook!

Another fantastic read by this author! With a little humor, some toasty heat and a huge dose of heart, these characters will haunt you long after the book is finished.
