Sarah, Mark, Violet and Nathan all think they’ve done a good job of hiding their powers, until the day Woden finds them. Now they have a choice – either travel to train their magic with the mysterious Mu and join Woden on his revenge mission… or perhaps lose their powers forever. And for Woden, time is of the essence. As soon as possible, he needs to assemble his new team to avenge his friends and take down the malevolent forces of the Evil Gentleman.
The Evil Gentleman sat in his beautiful chair with a perfectly straight back, adorned in a creaseless navy blue suit. A matching necktie, knotted with such complexity, appeared to be the only thing holding his shirt in place; such was the lightness of the fabric. His hair, blond, was divided by a right-hand parting. The hair was all perfectly controlled, even down to the tightly clipped pencil moustache that he was sporting that very day.
It genuinely annoys me when a book isn't marked as part of a series. Although it was well written & an enjoyable read, nothing actually happens other than to set the framework for the rest of the story. I don't have a problem with that as such, but I think it should be clear in the book description. As there was no mention of the next book, I'll assume it's not yet written/published. Disappointing.
