Fleeing to Washington, D.C., Jane Doe searches not only for her kill assignment, but answers from the clandestine Coywolf project.
Now as the lines between who is on the right side of the truth and justice begin to blur, Jane will question who is real and what is just. Unable to trust what she knows, Jane looks to exit the program she’s worked for so diligently when her focus shifts and she begins piecing together a life kept hidden from her for twenty-nine years.
Matt Matthews is home to bury his godfather and join his family’s billion-dollar drone empire, Maxtronix. But his past his quickly catching up with him. And so is Jane.
Still tracking Three, Jane will now have to stop a planned attack on Capitol Hill while keeping up Matt Matthews and not losing sight of the NYPD counterterrorism officer Kelly Casey, whom she can’t seem to shake.
The final countdown has begun. For Jane. For Matt. For Three.
Kris Calvert is a former copywriter and PR mercenary who after some coaxing, began writing novels. She loves alliteration, pearls and post-it notes. She’s married to the man of her dreams and lives in Lexington, Kentucky. She’s Momma to two grown kids, and is also responsible for one very needy rescue pup. When she’s not writing, she’s baking GF cupcakes.
Emotional conclusion to this three part arc. Jane finally founds out who she is and where she came from.
Matt finally puts everything into play to bring his father down. Neither knowing that they are on a collision course with devastating consequences.
I really enjoyed the 3 books in this series. Jane was one of those tough kick butt heroines you love to love. Her tragic past and her resolve to overcome it and get her revenge the best way she could made you both root for and sympathize with her. Her quest to both put domestic terrorists down along with her search for the terrorist that killed so many people that were important in her life finally comes to a head with a satisfying conclusion – albeit at a high cost.
The ending makes me think there could be more books in the future. I hope so...
Jane Doe:3 is the suspenseful ending to the Jane Doe series. Is it the end? I really hope not. Jane gets her answers and her one desire. I couldn’t put this book down. If I wasn’t on the edge of my seat, I was crying. Kris Calvert has outdone herself with the Jane Doe series!
I am writing this after sleeping maybe 3 hrs because as soon as I finished the 9th "Sex, Lies, ..." (AWESOME AS ALL THE PREVIOUS 8), I read the beginning of the Jane Doe excerpt, you always have me with them, I went straight to your website clicked on read more and YEAH, all three were already out! I read one and half of two before my tablet hit the floor. At 5am with eyes running from sleep and Southern Spring yellow hell, I finished two and then three. What I thought was an awesome final line, then turned the page to find it wasn't the ending but almost devasting, I was OMG here we go again... Somehow, I believe there's another book out there waiting to be read...number 4 perhaps...? You are the Queen of happy endings, yet, Open endings... As with all nine Sex, Lies, ..., I am hooked again! But this, this was moving, heart wrenching, action packed, and sooooooooooo enthralling!
I await your next killer, not used lightly, books to come out!
Good! Her new assignment: kill Matt. She now has 2 men in love w/ her: Matt & Kelly; how will it work out? The ending is both satisfying, and tragic. Many situations are resolved, yet we're still left w/ many questions: who is Mateo, or Madewell; what is the secret org that employs Jane & Matt? Where will the MCs go? The last sentence of the bk implies a follow-up?
Kris has hit this one out of the ball park! What an outstanding and exciting series! Filled with intrigue, it was difficult to put down. Highly recommend this series. Go. Buy. Read.
I have the same critique as I had for book 2 of the series. It appeared that the author was writing from the same basic outline as the other books. Also, some descriptive paragraphs seemed to be repeated in the books. I got bored because I knew, more or less, how the book was going to end.
This series just gets better with each book! The story progresses so smoothly and nice while keeping you sucked right in. I can’t even help but keep reading! I’ve read them all in only a few days and plan to read the last one too!
The third book of this Jane Doe series has the assassin taking the name of Catherine. She completes her mission but not without losing someone she has come to care a lot for. She learns things about herself she would rather not know. BUT, she doesn't look back, she never looks back. This character, Jane Doe, is one smart, tough, take no prisoners, badass.
