Rest Stop Terror

Rate this book
A serial killer has made his way to the very rest stop that homeless April needs to sleep at. As if living in a car isn’t bad enough for April, having a killer after her is a living nightmare. Women have been raped and murdered at rest areas across the state, the only place April knows to sleep at until she gets her feet back on the ground—if she can escape the killer’s brutal attack. A dead body, a reporter, and a few suspects add tension to this suspenseful novelette.

Rest Stop Terror

Due to unforseen circumstances, Alice and her dog were forced to sleep in rest stops until she could get back on her feet. She has no idea there is a serial killer using rest areas for his kill. Alice found one of the victims in the handicap stall of the ladies restroom. She was raped, tortured and brutally murdered. Alice thought she'd be safe staying at the same rest stop because he never hits the same place twice. She was wrong.... This short story was well written with enough suspense and intrigue to keep you guessing until the end.

This was a decent read. A very intriguing story with an interesting character. It could use a good edit to build up suspense, but it was readable.
