To know me is to love me. My identity begins with my name but makes a statement with my pen. I'm a mother of two and a wife of one. My love for writing began at the age of two. That's right I first wrote my name at the age of two and I've been writing ever since. Growing up I always felt invisible. I suffered from that 'Middle Child Syndrome', so when my voice wasn't heard, I made my own story.
My journal and my pen became my companion. I would write stories where my characters looked like me (thick, tall, and pretty), they loved to read, was educated, and realistic. The older I got the more my imagination grew, which caused my stories to be more diverse.
Becoming an author came about in an unintentional way. I've been through many things in my adult life. My husband, who's my backbone, has always admired my strength. We suffered a devastating loss, our daughter. My husband urged me to tell my story, to be a light for someone else. I took him up on his advice and wrote my pains and truths.
I love weaving stories, touching readers with relatable characters and situations. I give life lessons, unconditional love, dedication, a little crazy, and a whole lot of truth. I have a saying that I live by; 'I don't just write books;I tell stories'.

Outstanding series. Not the same old same old storyline

Great ending to the series. Sad how both Ron and Amp had such dysfunctional families. Ricky being Quans dad was surprising. Both found strong willed, self loving women who gave them strength and purpose. To find out Marcus played Ra Ra from the beginning was poetic. Tees obsession with Amp was pathetic. Asia finally got her mind together, but she was to late! Kia lost a sister and best friend, but gained the best life ever.

What a great series

This series was filled with so much drama. Kia was crazy she didn't take no mess concerning her man & Sunya is the same way bout Amp. I hated the Asia had to die i just wanted her to get her self together & love & want her son Marcus & RaRa got what they deserved. Ron got a woman tht loves him for him despite how he looked. All in all this was a wonderful love story

Good continuation as this 2nd part was just as entertaining as the 1st. Ron & Kia were truly in love. I thought Amp & Sunya were good for each other. Tee was as miserable as Ra-Ra was dumb. Felt bad for Asia. Good ending and 2 book series

Fantastic!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Let me start off by saying everyone got what they deserved. Sometimes death is necessary and consequences are necessary. I'm just sad the way things went down but glad with most of the endings. I'm glad Nykia and Ron, Amp and Sunya are living their happily ever after because of the love they've shown to one another, especially to their men who lived with disfigurement and still came on top before their women and now even better with their women. I love the unconditional support and love from their family and friends. I wanted to end my review by thanking God for second, third, fourth chances, because the chances people had to straighten up in this story and get their minds right was ridiculously high. I'm surprised none did that. A lot of us do not take those chances that God presents. We keep doing it until it's too late. Hhhm, funny. Talking to myself as well. Quan is my boy though, he is going to be hella fine, hilarious and smart. Not just with books but street smart and family smart. He is going to know what he wants and how to use the right action to get it with the best positive reaction to it. Loved It! Great Read! ReneeG

Everything

The final installment of this book was everything! My gosh! I’m so sad about what happened to Asia when she was going to get her life back together. Something was seriously wrong with Ra-Ra and Marcus, I’m glad they got what they deserved. It was a good thing Ricky wanted to man up and be right his wrongs to bad he didn’t get out of jail. Tee was so delusional until it was just cringing to read about. The girl had problems. As for Amp and Sunya, I’m happy they got their happily ever after as well as Kia and Ron. I love those two couples and happy they didn’t let anything get them down. Quan had a lot of respect for his elders. He was a young man who had a good head on his shoulders. Kendra never disappoints me. I’m loving everything she writes!!

KIA & RON GOT THEIR HAPPILY EVER AFTER.. but the twist of dayquan actually being Ron's blood nephew was crazy I hate that Ny'asia had to die like that but she was just a lost soul who felt everybody owed her. But the shocker was where RARA CAME TO BIG MAMA HOUSE AND SAID THAT RON INJECTED HER WITH CHLYAMDIA I MEAN WHAT CAN HE GAIN FROM THAT MARCUS REALLY HAD A STRONG HOLD ON HER AND HAD HER SO BRAINWASHED THAT THE DUMMY BELIEVED IT BUT ONCE RON VISITED HER IN PRISON AND SHOWED HER THE PROOF THAT MARCUS LIED SHE WANT HER BROTHER BACK KARMA GOT ALL OF THEM THAT WANTED TO HARM KIA & RON IN THE WORST WAY

LOVED IT!!!

I loved this book. Kendra has become one of my new favorite authors. I read the first series and loved it just as much. This is not your typical dope boy story. You can feel the realness of the characters. The way Ron was treated brought tears to my eyes. I am so glad that he and Kia found happiness in each other. As bad as it sounds all of the bad characters got exactly what they deserved. Overall this was a really good book. Can't wait to see what else she has in store.

They finally got dumb and dumber 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Raisha was just too damn stupid and gullible I can’t believe she set up her own brother like that, now her ass in jail suffering. Quan with a mother and father who was useless turn out to be a great kid thanks to his aunt and uncle. Now Amp his mother and father had some nerve after all the abuse they inflicted upon him, now they wanted him to give help them. I’m just glad both Amp and Ron got them two women who loved them flaws and all...

Liked the plot

This was another good plot, a little over the top with some of the scenarios, but what the heck, it's fiction right? I didn't care for the sex parts, found myself skipping over them, for me, they were too drawn out. Other than that, it was a good read. Also, it could've used less ebonics and a bit more editing, but it wasn't too distracting because of the good plot.

Great Read!

This was a great read the characters seem to be well-developed the scenes between them were amazing. I will say that as far as when a character is actually talking, slang is great but otherwise I would leave it out. Also may want to get some editing done ... ... a lot of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. But definitely a 5-star read! I'm going to find more of your work now!

Who gonna love you better than ur TRU RIDA

I thoroughly enjoyed those series. Kia was a woman who knew her worth and wasnt afraid to let anyone who said differently know she was bout that THUG LIFE!! Ron was blessed when he got with Kia, he definitely found his rida in her. So glad that everyone who was causing turmoil in their life got their Karma. Tee was something else and ended up being a sad individual who never quite grasped the concept of loving yourself first

Amazing

I am so happy to have the story of love and acceptance of the main characters. They had their personal demons that they dealt with but when they found their other half they received many blessings and will live happily ever after. Books with stories like these keep me strong in my love of reading. Thanks Kendra I am new and true fan of yours now. I guess I have find another one of your books to read voraciously lol.

Loved it

Omg I loved part 2. Not I tell money is the root of all evil. Kia go hard for her husband and her family. She didn't okay when it came to Quan and Ron. She was my favorite character. I hate she lost her best friend Tee was very envious of Kia and her relationship with Ron. Now let's chat about my baby Amp he was hilarious. He had me rolling when Woody had his foot. Ron and Amp were brothers for real. Kendra keep up the great writing you are phenomenal

Was a great read 📚

It's the obsession for me but how it spilled from a friend not being in the same headspace as the other friend. I loved how Kia was able to take her pain and turn it into a healthy love for herself. So she could allow the love she deserves in without bitterness. Tee just couldn't learn to love the skin she was in. There's always someone for everyone no matter how they look. They just need not to be crazy and obsessed lol.

Kendra did it again. This was really good and I recommend this series to everyone it was hilarious and displayed acts of unconditional love . I'm glad Kia and Ron got their happy ending. Everyone was cray cray lol tho. This book shows what ppl goes through with bring BBW, scared or disfigured. Everyone deserves to be treated equally and not ridiculed.

Love it!!

I swear reading this book had me thinking this was a biography. From the attitude, to the job, to the favorite songs and definitely the weight issues....I loved Kia's character! Almost all of it reminded me of me. But I'm not that violent lol. This book was a great completion to the first one and I'm so glad I read it!

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH SELF FIRST

I loved it. Finished it in an hour. Thatcher deserves the unselfish love and life can bless them with. Glad Mz. Green is taking the bus out of her eyes. This needs to be a movie. Both books are rated a 20+. The sex scenes are crazy and I am not mad at it either. 😊

Beauty

Beauty is in the eyes of thee beholder. What might look good on the outside can be ugly as he** on the inside. Greed and jealousy can blind you to what is actually taking place around you. The issues in this book were so real because it happens all the time. I would highly recommend this series.

The true meaning of love

I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't put it down. All I have to say is Ron and Amp are both real men. Nykia and Sunya are the true definition of what having their man's back is all about. This book is a true page Turner you have to read it for yourself. I enjoyed both books to this story. I will be looking forward to reading more by this author.

Please....

Please get an editor. I struggled thru this series. I understand country grammar but this was not that. Your stories are engaging and the characters are awesome. But the errors make it difficult to read. I’m not sure how I even finished it. This read like a rough draft. Please do better.

👏🏾 good story

There were some unexpected twists and turns that made the storyline better than what I expected. Marcus is a ban and is hope he becomes someone's girl in prison. Tee needs counseling for real or she will never be better. Amp and Sunya🥰 that's real love! Kia and Ron are too cute together especially when she's violent😂😂
